Study Japanese for 2 years in Uni

>study Japanese for 2 years in Uni
>fall for meme learning methods like RTK/AJATT and get fucking nowhere
>give up
>decide to take Spanish for a semester
>it's even fucking harder
>stupid verb conjugations kicking my ass
>vocab is actually harder because instead of symbols all I get is words
>most Spanish speakers in my town speak a really janky sounding version of the language with shit grammar and weird slang
>keep defaulting to Japanese words when searching my mind for the equivalent Spanish word while writing or speaking
>sound like a blithering idiot/mexican Yoda because my word order/phrasing is also influenced by Japanese

I thought Spanish was supposed to be easy? The only thing that isn't tough about it is that it shares our alphabet, but that only helps with reading/word recognition which is not as helpful as it seems.

Not mexican spanish. Chicano spanish tho.

You're a literal brainlet

>pack of Mexicans arrive every year
>"w-we don't sound like that"
At least own up and say its southern mexico or something

Hablar español es muy facil mi gringo.
Nunca le pidas ayuda a un argentino, ni a los chilenos ni mejicanos.

>iegah
>lugah

The best Spanish is that of Peru and Colombia. they do not have any accent

Objectively the best one
Easier conjugation
Easy to listen to
Rich vocabulary due to the influx of Italian immigrants
Why aren't you learning it Sup Forums?

They do have an accent, but since it's your native one you don't realize it has one
Happened to me ceron

>most Spanish speakers in my town speak a really janky sounding version

Only v and b sound alike

did you listen to those links, they are literally the same

They sound completely different bro.
You're just not used to the spanish non rolled r

they dont sound different, im listening to them right now my ears aren't magically different from yours we HEAR the same SOUNDS, i mean how could we not?

>I thought Spanish was supposed to be easy?
It is, you are just stupid

No
The r in toros sounds like the tt in better when spoken by someone from the west coast
The d sounds like a d, or the th in that but with less tongue

That's tu problema bro

They most definetely sound different.

Are you serious? They sound different.

>They ALMOST sound the same
>They dont sound different
Nigga, what the fuck? They do sound different and you admitted it on your first post

you dont have a west coast
what the fuck are you talking about

I can't remember much of my life as a monolingual. I do recall when I was a kid watching a movie and it was in English. And I was baffled at how could this people speak to and understand each other.

the continent does though
