I haven't kept up with the threads, but does anyone know what was the book in diane's handbag?

I think those are her cigarettes

That's not a book m8.

Unless you were referring to something else.

Everything was so fucking perfect.

Although I am surprised Cooper returned to being old Cooper again despite being stuck in the lodge for 25 years then being stuck in a braindead Dougie just watching everything happen while being trapped in his body. I'd have though he'd be a little bit fucked up from it all.

But either way, fucking perfect.

I don't see a book in there?

O-Oh.

>haven't slept since the newest episode aired
>want to stay up forever discussing Twin Peaks
>university tomorrow

As amazing and gratifying as it was to see him back at 100% I can't help but feel like another shoe is going to drop.

Feels like we're in for a MD type sudden shift into something completely unknown. The creepy credits sequence and the scene before might actually be that shift starting, I can't begin to express what it might be but I don't think this is what we're being led to believe.

BASED

That's my new book, it's essential if you truly wish to understand Twin Peaks season 3

>post yfw Eddie Vedder recorded a song that confirms Cooper never gets his mind back

Don't go
I have to
;_;

what's that mean?c

How did he think his car was going to push a transit van away?

>sonny jim being so excited about his dad no longer being a walking vegetable but then being left by him right away

>what happens when two tulpas fugg
A mexican kid.

mysteries

she scooted out of frame while grabbing her gun you can still see the edge of the chair

Aim for Center Mass

Tammy is a tulpa created by Gordon. That is his confession mentioned in the russian leaks.

fuck, I missed the chair. still it was first time I had to pause and rewatch the scene because something was really off.

>NO I AM DOING ALL EDITING AND VISUAL FX MYSELF
Old fucking retard should better left this to a real pro. But who cares, lynchfags will eat any of his shit and call it "kino". Also editing in Audrey dance scene and couple of other scenes is fucked up (I am suer l-fags will defend this as well).

...

l y n c h e d

is twin peaks even real?

But intentially doing shitty visuals never was Lynch style. Come on, the guy is old and not in a good shape anymore.

stop making sense

This is literally me except I'm poor and jobless like the trailer trash that live in twin peaks now.

I'm not trying to sadpost though I feel like this whole season is about people who society has forgotten about. Even the spirits are likened to hobos. The whole dougie plot, audrey plot, and the poverty of the town really resonates with me.

I wish a woman looked at me the way Janey-E looks at Coop

Dana Ashbrook looks like David Byrne

Cheer up, Bobe

The power of fuck you.

No it's a TV show. I'm not trying to be a smartass, I swear it's going to get meta just like Inland Empire. But it's not going to be bullshit like a Deadpool comic, it's going ot mean something. Even if it doesn't get meta it's still presented this way.

It's really apparent if you notice back during hte first four episodes that the box with the experiment is set up like a television in a living room. After that there are countless scenes that make it feel like you're somebody watching someone due ot the camera, or framed so someone's in a makeshift TV, like they're behind glass or something. Or scenes of other people watching people through TVs, or watching TV.

We're basically spirits feeding on the emotions of the people in the TV. There are scenes that make it very clear that we exist in the show. Becky's scene where the camera zooms to Steve and the girl he's having an affair on. When it gets all floaty and dream like. The lodge spirits behave like actors and TV does to us. Beyond space and time, and can live on after death. Red curtains = theatre curtains. Also the black lodge uses electricity to transmit spirits, like a tv.

This is all a dream we live in. TV and movies are our collective dream. So is the internet, which is why Lynch did that silly desk thing. He put the internet int he wood like how spirits are there.

I'm rambling but htis has to make sense to someone.

Oh yeah no that's not a thing he's been doing since the 80's

doGIE be FBI agent

>cheer up

>I feel like this whole season is about people who society has forgotten about. Even the spirits are likened to hobos. The whole dougie plot, audrey plot, and the poverty of the town really resonates with me.

Same. I feel a certain connection with the characters.

>when your Chad friend is soaking some chick's panties through her skirt and you just have to sit there playing on your phone

>Bad Coop reveals that he's Richard's dad
>Diane reveals that she was raped by Bad Coop
>Out of Sand plays in the same episode when Coop gets his mind back
>Audrey was in some sort of dream after all

Holy shit it was like if Sup Forums made the episode.

Imagine being Eddie in that scene and having to be all like "damn, Sherilyn Fenn, you fuckin' fine, all sexy with your bloated body and horrificly aged monster face. I would totally have sex with you, both Edward Louis Severson III and the real me." when all he really wants to do is fuck another 16 year old in his dressing room. Like seriously imagine having to be Eddie and not only sit in that chair while Sherilyn Fenn flaunts her disgusting body in front of you, the favorable lighting barely concealing her stretchmarks and wrinkly skin, and just sit there, take after take, hour after hour, while she perfected that dance. Not only having to tolerate her monstrous fucking visage but her haughty attitude as everyone on set tells her she's STILL GOT IT and DAMN, AUDREY DANCES LIKE *THAT*?? because they're not the ones who have to sit there and watch her mannish fucking gremlin face contort into types of grimaces you didn't even know existed before that day. You've been fucking nothing but a healthy diet of blondes and supermodels and later alleged rape victims for your ENTIRE CAREER coming straight out of the suberbs in Chicago. You've never even seen anything this fucking disgusting before, and now you swear you can taste the sweat that's breaking out on her crumpled stomach as she sucks it in to writhe it suggestively at you, smugly assured that you are enjoying the opportunity to get paid to sit there and revel in her "statuesque (for that is what she calls herself)" beauty, the beauty she imagined so hard in the previous months. And then the Lynch calls for another take, and you know you could kill every single person in this room before the studio security could put you down, but you sit there and endure, because you're fucking Eddie. You're not going to hang yourself like Chris over this. Just bear it. Hide your face under that stupid hat and bear it.

I'm still not convinced Lynch isn't reading everything we say then sending it all back in time through transcendental meditation.

Don't forget in Part 15 we got Judy and the Jumping Man.

>vedder posting has stopped
finally

I even haven't noticed. Stop defending this apology of a film and calling it "kino". Art is not about "trolling" audience with trash and calling it "lynching". This is just a hoax.

>Coop came back
I still can't believe it. It makes me so fucking happy

>Chrysta is a tulpa created by Lynch.
Fixed

>Diane reveals that she was raped by Bad Coop
Don't believe a tulpa. She's just a shell.

Will it live up to the rest of this magnificent season?

Is Edward Louis Severson III Eddie's tulpa?

That's Carrie Page

Bringing back Laura has the most potential to fuck everything up so far so we'll see

It's whatever you want to read into it. You have the poorfags in the trailerpark, but then again, you get the Las Vegas rich neighborhood folks, the mafia, the insurance etc.
I think that the trailerpark plot is kind of the connection to misery and what dwells in such small places, the hate, anger and abuse, Ray Horn and all that.

because he's Polish
t. Polish guy

it's kino though

I really liked her performance in Gore Verbinskis "The Ring" remake.

lmao

Cooper made another Dougie because he will turn himself in to the police after all is over, not because he doesn't want to have a family.

I am watching The Return for the first time and holy shit it is so jarring with no Harry, especially how he is just "sick" and still supposedly existing in Twin Peaks.
It would be better if he died or something.

"Poorfags in trailer park" are living better lives than eastern european and russian trash (like me). And then we have Middle East, South Asia and Africa.

how does naomi do american woman so well when she's so britbong irl??

I even haven't noticed. Stop attacking this type of a film and calling it "trolling". Art is about leaving the audience with more questions than answers and inspiring new ways of looking at things. If you don't anything out of it, that's your fault. You are just a hoax.

Get out of this thread nigger it's so much better going in with no expectations or knowledge of what's going to happen.

Turn himself in for what? He's married to the bureau, he can't just go live with them in vegas after this

I still feel sick to my stomach anytime I hear her horrid actual accent. What a waste

I'm hoping it's a post-credits scene with original dougie (bad toupe, fat, womanizing drunk gambler)

Dadaism was 100 years ago. It doesn't raise any questions anymore.

Cooper and his Doppleganger are the same person, so he's still responsible for his crimes. I

>Bobe

JUST

they are both single women, imagine to be inslaved to their pusys

Why is this allowed? Why does the Return barely scrape together 500 thousand viewers?

So why did electrocution make Coop wake up?

because got is for plebs

Im only stopping by to talk about the original run and stuff that is vaguely relevant to the show.
Anything from season 3 I completely ignore and nothing has been spoiled yet.

Probably because it requires the knowledge of the previous two seasons which aired 25 years ago and are really long to appreciate.

Electricity is pretty imporant in the universe of Twin Peaks.

Electricity is linked to lodge stuff. Notice how they keep referencing electricity when Cooper is in a comma. It does not go beyond that.

sure, I heard a lot of people actually choose to live in trailer parks, because it's just cheap and you don't have too much trouble with the weather.

I actually appreciate the eastern european cities for what they are. central europe is just a consumerist heaven, with new looks, decoration and architecture every year. places become dull and lack any soul. eastern europe is kind of like a time travel. supermarkets are still kind of trashy and that's what i love about it. you are still a person in czech republic, poland and hungary and supermarkets are places that you go to and leave. modern supermarkets in germany and austria are hellishly depressing, super clean and you feel like you are a dead pig carcass that is being pushed through the factory and ends up as meat products. it becomes increasingly inhumane.

reminder that Naomi Watts' """"""son"""""" is LITERALLY trans and she's encouraging it

Because its an epitaph to good TV.
GoT is a nail to it's coffin.

Back in Episode 3 he was going to leave through the plug marked Episode 15, but he didn't because Naido, then he ended up leaving in the plug marked Episode 3. You see a jolt of electricity there. That was Cooper in Episode 15 getting his mind back.

The numbers were for the episode numbers.
I think...

Lynch isn't trying to make poverty porn, the idea is just to show how run down and forgotten Twin Peaks is 25 years later, which is what you would expect from a small town like that. People in the Appalachian mountains live similar to you Russians, so don't worry, you're not alone.

>Saying Lynch movies are dadaist
lol at your lack of education, mate
yet you dare talk shit about arthouse movies and independent movies. Lynch is a living legend, get over it. You don't get to decide, history decides which artists are going to be remembered and remain influencial, not a little grumpy guy who thinks it's "pretentious".

But they are not shitty, they are good, they are not supposed to look realistic.

Hearts of gold

I'm fucking your mom for the first time and holy shit it's so jarring fucking an old used up pussy that popped out a mongoloid

Lynch does to, remember Łódź in IE?

Reminder that Naomi himself is secretly trans
youtube.com/watch?v=xlyU2nJTnDA

What was the purpose of these characters?
>Hutch and Chantal
>Duncan Todd and the intern
>One One Nine and her kid
>The shifty janitor
>The principal's wife and lawyer
>The Air Force people
>Everyone involved in the drug subplot pretty much

entertainment

GoT is mainly about characters either being slaughtered or fucking each other aggressively in weird places. The books feature page-long descriptions of the genitalia. Of course this kind of shit gets more views.

>Coop came back

How does it feel to be completely BTFO'd you fucking cunt-ass Vedderfags?

Regardless to what many people think there is no developement in arts per se, there is no progress, we just get more and more forms and ways to express certain things via art.

There is no reason to not use forms developed 100 or 1000 years ago if they work now.

I never said Lynch works are bad or "pretentious", I just said that he's not trying anymore, getting away with stuff that "not supposed to look realistic" but in fact is just a lazy work.

>He thinks Coop is back
The whole episode was Audrey dreaming.

>you will never be best friends with the Mitchums

So what the fuck is the point of Red? To get arrested in the finale and then Shelly and Bobby proceed to get back together?

Becky is dead imo.

What judge will believe that it was his evil part and not him doing the raping and killing?
Besides isn't he still accountable for going inside the black lodge and creating that monster?
I don't know what route Lynch will take here, but it isn't out of character for Coop to do something like this. Imho, creating a tulpa to go to jail in his place is a weak solution for this dilema.

Would you call a painting of an impressionist or expressionist a lazy work because its not "realistic in XIX century sense?

The episodes mean nothing because the season was shot as a single 18 hour movie and randomly split in 18 parts.

but if it's not on purpose why would he do a bad job on easy stuff like that but make the mushroom cloud stuff in ep 8 look perfect

>fuckins Tim Roth thinking he's part of the Twin Peaks family
