He's not totally wrong. Germany is a good example of multipartism going wrong, just as the US and the UK are examples of poor bipartism.

Whiter than you Muhammad

>krauts are dogshit at democracy
this is nothing new

It's not different in your country for example, brainlet.

>considered liberal in the U.S
Why is America trying so hard to be different? They have their own measurement units and their own definitions. Their idea of liberalism is especially egregious because it's the polar opposite of what it actually means all over the world. Is it an inferiority complex?

Liberalism was invented in the USA you fucking retard Canadian.

It's f*reigners that corrupted the ideology.
But true liberalism equals=equality for all groups, equal opportunity for economical situations, full suffrage, etc.

Not the bullshit, neo-socialist crap that Europeans have instituted, or the even more retarded shit Australia, NZ, and Canada have come up with.

elaborate

>implying he's wrong
Stop strawmanning him and give him credit where credit is due. Germany is a case of extreme multipartism where multiple parties have very close political orientations, causing voting results to be needlessly partitioned into irrelevant percentages. The recent government crisis shows that their system can be just as ineffective as the US one is corrupt.

>le joos amirite xD

See: >Liberalism was invented in the USA you fucking retard Canadian
Since when is Locke an American citizen?

Locke was an American at heart.

And I was more referring to "progressive liberalism", which was more or less invented in 1900s USA, not "traditional liberalism" which are the ideas that were USA founded on.

I do well admit Germany has a lot of political parties
I even think our 9 + the ones who sporadically apear every election (usually between 2 and 4)are a bit to many, but I rather have those meme options than just the same old 2

First time I hear about "progressive liberalism", but I'll believe you since you seem to know what you're talking about.

The recent government crisis happened due to mainstream parties ignoring the refugee problem. In a healthy democracy, politician ignoring what voters want is supposed to cause a government crisis, so the system is working as intended.

>implying he isn't one of the founding fathers

I figured it was a common term, I learned about it in fair detail in school

>don't vote third party you're literally wasting your vote
>third parties are funded by russians to prevent hillary clinton from winning
how do people even think this

Attached: 58FJ0pQJ_400x400.jpg (400x400, 27K)

Stupid Russians didn't even think to buy Hillary Clinton too.

How did Merkel even get elected if people were fed up with her bullshit?

East German magic

John Locke worked his books in the Netherlands though.

i mean, other how she handled the refugee crisis, Merkel did a pretty ok job.
German economy is flourishing and we have full employment

Merkel is actually a really really good leader, that has caused Germany to become one of the most powerful countries on Earth.

It's funny how americans have stopped unironically claiming they live in a democratic country or represent democracy in anyway shape or form.

>not "traditional liberalism" which are the ideas that were USA founded on

It absolutely isn't. The US are based on the continuation of the english bill of rights.

America is democratic is the most superficial way possible
the people in America have control over their government and the results of electoral process are most inconsequential as the people elected officials are going to do the same thing regardless of party

too expensive
