Everybody last night Edition
Meanwhile:
Wally Brando is the key to everything.
Just you wait.
>tfw rooting for both Coops
>"The past dictates the future."
&
"What is your name?"
WHAT DOES IT ALL FUCKING MEAN
Was it rape?
next time...
I cried during this episode. Was I the only one?
holy shit i forgot all about that. It feels like so long ago.
Who the fuck is Carrie Paige or whatever her name is
I can't describe how good it felt to see Coop again.
Damn, this was the best episode this season, so many fucking feels...
What is your name is said by Coop to Carrie
Dale Cooper is Audreys tulpa. The black lodge, Bob, etc were all created by her because she couldn't deal with the knowledge that Leland was abusing his own daughter. Audrey created the supernatural elements to take the blama away from people.
can't even tell who those are supposed to be
The fact that Mulder and Laura had sexual intercourse in real life irks me to no end.
Yes. That picture is from while Kyle was still under Lynch's corrupting influence
I need I_am_the_FBI.webm extra pickles please
Same here.
no. I cried when coop woke up, started taking charge of shit and the TP theme kicked in.
>"Remember 430. Richard and Linda."
Will this even come into play?
Fuck off, Audrey gave zero fucks about Laura.
>"What is your name?"
"Dougie Jones"
Almost got me when they were in the car and Sonny Jim says "Dad CAN drive!"
So far only the Log Lady's farewell has done it
It's framed exactly like the thumbs up after Coop figures out that Leland is the host of BOB
goddamn that was some good television
damn good
has anyone ever been btfo as much as vedderfags?
If there's a payoff, then Richard has to be a-okay.
What are the chances we learn what the giant was doing with Laura's soul, or what the point of that bug thing was, both from episode 8?
The same way she was a mischievous seductress, and not a virginal autist that completely got in way over her head and nearly got herself killed?
Taking Audrey at face value was your first mistake.
Nope.

>people thinking the shootout was a send up of Tarantino
That's forgetting that Tarantino's earlier work cribbed a LOT from Lynch. The sudden violence that's both horrifying and hilarious, the offbeat characters who talk about mundane things. There would be no Tarantino without Lynch.
For comparison
...
>Edward Louis Severson III
top kek
My one in five billion.
>Cooper awakening
>Saying goodbye to Janey and Sonny
It remembered me so many things about my life and when I was still happy with my exgf
>Who is Judy?
We're not gonna talk about Judy at all, we're gonna keep her out of it.
OFFSCREEN CRIMES OF DOPPLEGANGER COOPER
>Murdered Major Garland Briggs, beheaded him, raped his body, raped his head and burned his office down
>Raped Audrey Horne while she was in a coma after the bomb at the bank, first with different parts of a dog, secondly with Major Briggs' decapitated head
>Found Pete's car after he died in an explosion, then gathered a bunch of homeless to have a week long soup kitchen in it and then took the fluids and drown Catherine in them
>Jaywalking
>Used strange golden orbs to create dopplegangers of himself and of his close friends to rape and have beastiality with
>Raped and murdered Donna while forcing James to sing "Just You and Me"
>Raped and shaved James
>Raped Harry to the point he's dying of colon cancer
>Raped Little Nicky
>Pissed in Phillip Jeffries' Teapot
>Raped Dick Tremayne
>Found a deeply scarred and frightened Leo in the woods and gave him food and water
>Instead of paying his speeding tickets he tracked down and raped the police officers
>Mounted a dogs head on a pole after raping and killing it and chopped off all its legs
>Litters constantly
>Tortured, raped, and murdered Annie and then used her head along with Major Briggs' head as bloody sock puppets to reenact the opening scene of the Dark Knight Rises

>Executed and raped a FBI agents throughout the world, then drunk dialed Albert to tell him about it
>Send videos of him raping Monica Bellucci to Gordon
>Does not pay his taxes
>Told his shitty long lost son Richard all this while he forced him to perform oral sex on strange black faced homeless men and then told Richard how worthless of a son he is
For a minute I felt like this episode crossed the line into schlocky, GOT levels of fanservice that constantly happens with modern TV shows. Then I thought that the show has had 15 episodes of buildup and its nice to have a guilty pleasure once in a while.
Although I'm now seeing it being a possibility that there is going to be some sort of Avengers style team of characters against Sarah Palmer inhabited by the Mother. I'm a tiny bit nervous but I think I trust Lynch.
RICHARD HORNE DESERVED BETTER
;_;
I noticed that and got weirdly annoyed when he didn't do the thumbs up. I'm assuming Lynch is saving that for the Coop/Cole reunion.
>the eyes
what did they mean by this?
Even Lynch couldn't make a twist that shitty into a good ending
dead meme since #15
According to her official birth date it can't be her, also I think she's most likely possessed by the experiment or mother or whatever she's called.
In the credits the voice that spoke through her head was the voice of "Experiment", according to the German credits at least.
I admit it.
I have been thoroughly lynched.
I really wish they hadn't dyed Kyle's hair this season.
So who gave Bad Cooper the right coordinates?
So lemme get this straight. Lynch and Frost have two episodes, about 112 minutes (an hour and and 52 minutes) to
>Introduce what's happening to Audrey, develop it and tie into the main story
>Properly introduce Laura Palmer and whatever the fuck she means
>Tie every single subplot together into the main one, which includes One Punch Man, Monster Mash Sarah and whatever the fuck is happening in Twin Peaks
>Give a final explanation to the lodges and what they're doing
>wrap up character development in a satisfying way
>and still make room for weird shit Lynch likes
Can they do it?
It's not dead until we know who Judy is.
Kynch will give the last big fuck you with DCoop winning.
>Coop trapped in lodge
>FBI agents die
>Twin Peaks burns down
>DCoop goes back to Janey and Sonny to rape them
No, he was an irredeemable piece of shit.
If anything I hope he appears again in the finale for an even more gruesome and painful end.
>Jaywalking
Gets me everytime
The question is, he jaywalked to or back from rape?
Diane
>I can't describe how good it felt to see Coop again.
Wait you actually think everything will wrap up in a neat little bow? Have you ever seen a David Lynch film?
Tulpa Diane
Maybe the last episode will be longer.
so not that the show is nearly over what was the most pointless subplot of s3
The glass box?
Hastings in prison?
Roadhouse still has highschool prostitutes?
Wally?
LP doesn't need introducing, she has had film and two seasons.
Nothing NEEDS to get properly solved or tied and barely if ever gets (not even in great literature classics).
They are not making ENCYCLOPEDIA OF TWIN PEAKS PHENOMENOLOGY, they're making Twin Peaks the Return.
Jefferies killed it himself by talking about her
Kale Maclachlan lol
We have two possibilities.
>1: 2 hours of high-octane, ridiculous shit that ties everything in
>2: 2 hours of sweeping the floor.
To be honest I was expecting Cole or Albert getting shot and dying.
Im going to miss Chantal, too many deaths in these 2 episodes
Spoilers
Dale will arrive in Twin Peaks, and will find out that it has become a ghost town. Everything we've been seeing happening there has been happening in a parallel universe inside of the White Lodge, where the twon transported itself into to escape from BOB.
Mr.C is looking for the coordinates of the entrance to the purgatory Twin Peaks, where he expects to find Laura Palmer with the ring.
>2
What the fuck is this guy's issue
>Introduce what's happening to Audrey, develop it and tie into the main story
We'll get an explanation, but it might not tie into the main plot the way things like One-Punch Lad will
>Properly introduce Laura Palmer and whatever the fuck she means
But we already know
>Give a final explanation to the lodges and what they're doing
Do you even Lynch?
>One Punch Man,
He's just gonna protect Naido and cave in Mr C's face when he arrives at the coordinates for the sheriff's office.
What was the significance of Lorraine dialing that black box in Buenos Aires, and who gave Ike the Spike the hit on her?
He only ran over that kid accidentally. He might as well have done nothing wrong.
BOTH TIMES
Why did she tell them about Vegas last time if she's an evil tulpa?
>>Introduce what's happening to Audrey, develop it and tie into the main story
Doesn't matter, just like the stuff with James/Bobby/Shelly, we just get to see their fates post-Season 2, doesn't need to be died into the main plot-line.
>>Properly introduce Laura Palmer and whatever the fuck she means
Everything has been spelled out regarding Laura.
>>Tie every single subplot together into the main one, which includes One Punch Man, Monster Mash Sarah and whatever the fuck is happening in Twin Peaks
Not gonna happen and not important, how was Nadine tied into the main-plot in S1/2? She wasn't.
I think Sarah Palmer's been possessed by the experiment or something, will probably be cleared up.
>>>Give a final explanation to the lodges and what they're doing
Undesired and sufficiently explained already, did you watch S1/2?
>>wrap up character development in a satisfying way
Happening laddd
>who gave Ike the Spike the hit on her?
Evil coop.
Giant was making a tulpa of Laura. Who got killed by Leland.
Real Laura was never killed and is reunited with Sarah in the finale.
Bullshit.
Cole called Twin Peaks.
I don't think that's true. We got Cooper back, but he was just acting like Cooper. What, is he supposed to not act like his character? There was nothing fanservice-y like him immediately going for coffee and doughnuts or something.
What are the odds these moments are never explained?
>Vomiting child in car
>Eds reflection acting differently
>Repeating voice man in cell
I dont mind some loose ends because its Lynch but these three things have me more intrigued than anything else in the show.
>tfw Carl was a good guy even in FWWM but the trailer park was an awful place so he was grumpy
>Real Laura was never killed and is reunited with Sarah in the finale.
How do you know this?
Yeah I'm still confused about who the big bad is that wants to kill Evil Cooper. I thought it was Jeffries but apparently it isn't him, unless he was lying.
I think that's the same person who was in charge of the guy who kept sending out hitmen to kill Dougie, the one who got WHACKED two eps ago.
...
Because she didn't consciously know that she was an evil tulpa except for the times DoppelCoop texted her "activate it"
So george's wife who's killed by Mr. C in part 1/2 isn't a tulpa since she doesn't vanish??
>>Vomiting child in car
surrealism
>>Eds reflection acting differently
this had to have somehow been an error in editing, i don't really understand how or why it would have happened
>>Repeating voice man in cell
still two episodes user
Ever seen a David Lynch movie where everything got explained and all plots were resolved without ambiguity?
Me neither
she was born in 41
it can be ehr
Everyone in Twin Peaks was murdered horribly by Mr.C, and all the characters we see are Tulpas created by the sole survivor Audrey, who has become the spirit of the town itself.
>I cried during this episode. Was I the only one?
She's going to be okay, right bros? She's going to be okay and end up with Coop like she was supposed to, right? Lynch wouldn't fuck me over like that, right guys?
Are we sure? The map we saw did show those coordinates were in Twin Peaks although it was too far out to tell where. Judging by Jerry being there, the place they went is also probably in Twin Peaks.
Yeah she was just a bad person.
>Repeating voice man in cell
I reckon that might come into play, but the other two? Nope.
He is bullshitting.
Laura Palmer proper has died. It's in the fucking garbage bag at the beach in S01E01.
Elephant Man and Mulholland Dr. desu sempai
Out of Sand is actually a pretty good song
>this thread's reaction after the the latest episode
>"omg this is the best episode so far111111"
literally everytime
your show sucks
Imo the difference is that twin peaks earned its fan service with emotional investment and buildup. lynch/frost knew people wanted to see old coop again and they're using that as emotional payoff after 15 episodes of keeping him from the viewer. They did the oppisite with james singing You and I again in the roadhouse. They knew that people HATED that fucking song and knew it embodied everything people dislike about the original series and just said 'fuck you, its part of the package' and made the audience sit through 3 minutes of it.
are the leaks true?
I don't think so, fellow Audreyfag, but I'll be happy if they meet even once
