That is also not accurate. Afaik "iberian" doesn't mean Portuguese, and we all know that most of those "whites" are actually brown people who think themselves as such. Portuguese immigration was heavily concentrade in Rio de Janeiro, which is one of the richest and also among the most unequal places in Brazil, which would probably place Portugueses among the top earners.
Every place in the country has Portuguese diaspora. It's not what the source says.
