What is the comfiest Christmas movie

And no bullshit like Diehard or Gremlins. What is the one movie you watch every year that consistently gets your hollies jollied?

Jingle All the Way

...

My Christmaskino collection generally includes...

A Christmas Story
Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer
Frosty The Snowman
Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
The Year Without A Santa Claus
It's A Wonderful Life
Christmas Vacation
Home Alone (1&2)
Scrooged
Bad Santa
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Elf

The last 2 Christmases I have spent alone watching Jaws and eating 2 minute noodle. Maximum comfy.

Bad Santa is unironically a pretty good Christmas movie.

As fucked up as the humor is in the end you see it stays true to the Christmas spirit.

Agreed. It's surprisingly festive (and comedykino to boot).

It's not even September.

The janitor should delete this thread asap.

Muppets Christmas Carol nigger
Otherwise I agree

why is Christmas such a comfy season? I feel bad for all the jews and muslims who can't appreciate the pure bliss that is the two weeks before Dec 25

I really don't like when movies try to show "the dark side" of Christmas. It just grosses me out. Bad Santa, Scrooged- hard pass. Christmas movies should be nice.

Fanta Claus
youtube.com/watch?v=Pzoqcdmk9y0

...

All cards on the table- I was actually hired by a company similar to Shareblue that's run by Santa. There's a big push to get people off the naughty list up at the North Pole, and I get .15 candy canes for every post

That's not Fanta Claus is Comin'. That's Rudolph the Five Legged Reindeer.

Quality post. Made me smile.

The second one was unfortunately deleted from Youtube, and I couldn't find it anywhere. That one was just as amazing.

Here .

Scrooged, too

>I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is!
>Hallelujah!
>Holy shit!
>Where's the Tylenol?
My family was literally the griswolds. This is the christmas tradition in my family.

The Santa Clause
The Grinch (original animation and Jim Carey one)
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer
Frosty The Snowman

I watch this porn from the early 90s where a hot blonde chick fucks a midget

Isn't it weirdly comfy? My junior year of college I was living with a girl and we couldn't afford tv, and this was pre-smart tvs so the only thing to watch was our DVD collections. So, she goes home for the holidays and I'm stuck in the appartment, broke on Christmas and I'd seen every movie I owned at least a dozen times. Finally, as an act of desperation, I pop in one of her movies at random, and it's that one.

I don't know what happened, but ever since then, every year at some point I need to watch stupid Love Actually by myself curled up on the couch under the Afghan. And I don't even really love the movie- it's just this fucked up tradition I have now.

>Scrooged- hard pass
>Christmas should be nice
Holy shit you goofball, its the christmas carol modernized. The whole point is showing how the christmas spirit can make even the most cold hearted dicks turn into a good person.
Its the best kind of christmas story.

I have to watch it at least once every Christmas as well. It's the cheesiest movie in existence, but it's so fucking comfy. I listen to the soundtrack all the time around Christmas

The Snowman British cartoon is melancholy comfy kino

m.youtube.com/watch?v=ubeVUnGQOIk

nothing to be ashamed of. This is really a great christmas-core kino. Fact that it's relatively new doesn't change a thing

Snowman (with the real version* of 'walking in the air') is pure, unadulterated Christmas kino. Jiminy Cricket's Christmas is another must-watch each Christmas for me. Then there are some Finnish movies like Joulupukki ja Noitarumpu but I won't get into that region-specific stuff further.

We watched this cartoon at school in Canada every year as a kid, it was so comfy in a darkened classroom as snow fell outside. I was surprised that it took so long for it to get mentioned ITT, did Americans not get it in their country or something?

A pretty comfy Canadian one is The Hockey Sweater

Please.

It's obviously Die Hard.

Se7en.

Non-meme answer, in no particular order.

>How The Grinch Stole Christmas
>Miracle On 34th Street
>The Year Without A Santa Claus
>Frosty The Snowman
>Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
>A Christmas Carol
>Muppets Christmas Carol
>The Santa Clause
>Elf

I have all of them on tape and watch them every holiday season, wrapped in a blanket, cuddled up on the couch, fire going, and a nice mug of hot chocolate.

Set up the Christmas tree, put the Menorah in the window, get all the decorations up, and away we go.

Grinch cartoon.

Every year on christmas eve I'll watch this and have a nice comfy wank to Kiera before sleeping.

>tfw August isn't even over yet and people are already talking about Christmas.

I fucking hated it the first time I wached it a few years ago, should I give it another try?

It's a wonderful life

But its literally Gremlins and thats an actual Christmas movie, I can see arguing Diehard isnt since it never comes up in the movie

But Gremlins focuses on it a ton

Underrated post

>ctrl-f Year Without A Santa Claus
>only two results
>they're both parts of giant lists
Fuck you, Sup Forums. It's the patrician Rankin-Bass special.

Deck the halls. pure kino.

No one mentioned the nightmare before Christmas yet? Ain't Christmas till I've watched that.

I literally almost started crying when I played that. I watched it with my parents, who are both gone now, a bunch of times.

This is legit #1. I can't look at a portable toilet or RV without thinking "shitter's full" anymore. Directed by the guy who directed Madonna's Truth or Dare.

Olive the Other Reindeer is very underrated.

>merry f*cking christmas
>frosty the snow ho
>tranny claus
>miracle on 69th street
>naughty or nice she’s getting’ it twice
> here cumz santa
>a very creamy christmas
>ho ho ho
>I saw mommy eating Santa Claus part 2

...

Apocalypse Now

Anyone remember The Nuttiest Nutcracker. For a long time I wasn't sure if that movie existed or if I dreamt it up.

Ohh fuck, that movie was shit.

A Muppet Family Christmas

This. The best of all Christmas-related Muppet media, in my opinion.

No.
youtu.be/4jzsKJvWiEI
youtu.be/VsiKOJOXMJU

White Christmas. Great songs, great choreography. Kaye brings the comedy, Bing brings the voice, and Rosemary Clooney brings the heat. The comfiest of comfy.

>Not mentioning "Olive, the other Reindeer"

You niggas need Jesus.

>A Charlie Brown Christmas

At one time I was poor enough to actually have a Charlie Brown Xmas tree. It was rough times but looking back I wouldnt change a thing. The older I get the more I appreciate the little things.

This one
