How do maghrebis feel about their pre-islamic history?

Attached: DMPhObHX4AE6HRe.jpg (960x720, 76K)

proud
maghreb was an important part of many pre islamic civilisations
roman empire-east roman empire
also it included the vandalic kingdom-some celtic tribes
without forgetting about numida and carthage

Do they teach you about carthage in school?
In algeria we were taught little about numidia because of that cancer called "pan-arabism"

WTF didn't know arabs use hangul.

yes carthage and numida
but more about carthage
even tho numidans aer the natives and carthage was the invader shit educational system
'pan 5arabism'*

Why not stick to mena thread?
Anyway what do you guys think of Moroccan girls

they are ugly
look at mena full of cringy middle easterns
also nothing in common between us

I think it's easier to speak to a moroccan girl than an algerian girl
they're less prideful people

I think one of the biggest issues in the maghreb is arabized people's inability to claim their rightful berber heritage
So many algerians seriously believe numidia has nothing to do with them when this history should belong to us

what do you think of them?

also that lyrics

exactly the same here in tunisia
what people think is
language=ethnicity
or religion=ethnicity
even tho we speak derja to start with which is gramatically based on berber

I am too so it's ok

And they seem to be fuller more intelligent people

>language=ethnicity
>or religion=ethnicity
ironically this notion is a creation of french colonialism
Darija and berber speakers of the maghreb were both just called moors before the french invaded in 1830

this
french helped the raise of panArabist goverments after independence like it did with bourguiba
all the maps before french invasion indicate tunisia algeria and morocco as the barbary region

le 100% native face

Pretty much every maghrebi was called a moor until the french arrived in 1830.
The change of identity from moor to arab is a french creation to justify the colonization of algeria by claiming darija-speaker algerians were mostly descendants of bedouin invaders, since the moors were thought to be indigenous to the maghreb as the term was used by the romans to describe the berbers living in ancient mauretania.

>how is it possible
inbreeding

also some tribes pretended to be arab to avoid jizya and they believed their lies with time xd
genetic test proved they were wrong recently

wouldn't surprise me, the umayyads were racist bastards kek
I'm sure that most of us are still essentially berbers, just that we lost our language and identity

Attached: 1521298095443.jpg (686x576, 77K)

the weird thing that they lost the identity
but maintain the same berber culture and think that culture is arab

it is because of the arabism propaganda poisoning us for decades
the french are to blame too
as i've explained, they changed "moorish culture" into "arabic culture"

new generations are more aware of their origins here
and arabs hate is growing here (looking at countries like qatar and saudi arabia)

unfortunately I don't see arabized algerians reconnect with their berber heritage any time soon
The post-independence government successfuly divided kabyles and arabs

that was the mistake
kabyle people are at fault too
they think arabised people are arabs and they are isolating themselves

the educational system should do more to promote racial unity in algeria
now it just depends what will happen after the fall of the current government

this
educational system is the most important thing to create a generation aware of their history

When you see it.

I am so turned on right now.

I want him as my husband. I will take care of him for life as a reward to his servitude to the Ummah cause.

>how many berbers in percentage is there in the maghreb
Most maghrebis certainly have some berber ancestry but the majority have been arabized ie they speak a dialect of arabic now
Darija-speakers were classed as moors until the 19th century
It is interesting to see that Peyssonnel's notes (written iirc in the early 18th century) appears to distinguish the moors from the arabs

and how many still speak their language ?
Dialects of tamazight are still spoken by the kabyles, chaouis and mozabites tribes in algeria

Im one of those :)

Btw Arabs were in North Africa long before islam and Middle Easteners are mixed with North africans too

old migrations don't count
they all rook the same anyway

Bump

Thoughts on what will happen in algeria once boutef passes away?

Attached: BpeFWrCIgAAffcH.jpg (598x285, 47K)

what do you think will happen to tunisia after bajbouj die

Attached: dogga tunisia.jpg (3456x2592, 2.63M)

This is so beautiful and it could have been ours had Turkey conquered Europe.

Tipaza has the coolest tuiins in algeria desu

Probably a democratic transition of power.
Sadly algeria is still a military dictatorship ):

looks like kerkouane here
