hey remember ww2 where you didn't do fucking anything and just sat there as japan took all your shit and fucking tortured the shit out of your peoples? and you did nothing
They have an insect-like society that stifles creativity and demands conformity. They have zero innovation and can only rip off other people's ideas and poorly at that.
They sacrificed progress for longevity which is fine, but ultimately dreary for people with ingenuity and forward thinking ideals
Jordan Ross
This. China is where creativity goes to die.
Asher Carter
You will find far more traditional stuff in China than in the likes of America
Modern France has nothing in common with old Francks, what's your point? That countries should abandon their history with advancement?
Adam Hall
>violent, chaotic, confused and ephemeral. i've recently been kinda thinking that these are positive forces for society.
Julian Watson
They tell you what to think, they control what you see, they control your reproductive acts, they hide the truth from you by cutting off your access to it, they make you sacrifice everything for the sake of the ultra wealthy elites
Sounds like a great life if you're a bumblebee.

At least France isn't occupied

China has been the submitter of the most patents this year. Inb4 >All Chinese parents are fake! Copied my idea before I could patent it! Chinese insectoid forever!

That's all well and good, but
How do we stop China from turning into an authoritarian dystopia?

>Muh 5 out of 5000 years defines it's history When you spend those 5 years to wipe out the remaining 4995 years of history and actively rewriting it to fit the communist dynasty's narrative then yeah, it kinda does.
William Howard

Qin Shi Huan wiped all existing dynasties by killing the royal families and burning books. And many other dynasties did so. You cannot wipe culture it keeps evolving it's not something stuck in time...
Logan Harris
>America >traditional There's no such thing,
Easton Jenkins
>5 years can overwrite 5000 years of history The Cultural Revolution was an attempt by Mao to sieze power back from the technocrats like Deng Xiaoping, not an attempt at brainwashing the Chinese population.
I suppose the brainwashing and fear drenched society with spontanous lynching of potential thought dissenters with the occasional temple burning and grave desecration was just a happy little accident then as Mao seized back his relinquished power in another one of his little hissyfits. Xiapoing and Shaqi's years between Mao's disasterous two campaings were Mao China's best years.
Christopher Russell
Of course there is, are you dense or just a coastal hispanic DREAMer

Information access is more free in America than anywhere else. It's just some people are so stupid they don't use it.

You can't abandon your history, your history is whatever it is. Just because new ideas and ways of doing things arise and take hold within a society doesn't take anything away from your past. Would you have us all still be cavemen so as not to abandon our Neanderthal history?
Jayden King
>china >morality >equality >family values >prosperity >cultural preservation when you've been destroying your own culture since 1912
Any informed person pays little attention to mass media news, regardless of the country.
The internet exists free of firewalls blocking news sites from around the globe. Even Wikileaks isn't blocked and that's led to more political upheaval then arguably any other site. You just consume the mass media in your country and believe every bulshit thing you see about America.
Michael Young
1912 was pretty random desu Do you even know what happened that year?
Luke Gonzalez
I was recently listening to an old episode of the Phil Hendrie podcast. He says that he went to China in the 1980s after things had opened up considerably and while he was on the plane he was talking to a lady sitting next to him. She was an Antiques sales person and they struck up a conversation. She was telling him that in China at that time they were selling literally everything having to do with their culture. You could get a 500 year old table for like 30 bucks and thousand-year-old nick-nacks for less than $10. the Chinese were fucking stupid and selling their past away for a quick dollar.
Later on they got butthurt about their foolishness and started crying about the evils of the West when it was all their own fault
Logan Campbell
Advancement doesn't exist you pleb

They killed almost a million Japs

Thanks for mixing everything up Chinese are butthurt about shits taken during the 8 cunts invasion mainly considering literally few hundreds of Westerners with guns and boats just to rob some stuff They can't blame the things lost at that period in 1980s because that's anti-ccp shit In addition, 1980s was a time for those fuckers to make fake stuff so who knows, they're possibly fake anyways
Anthony Kelly
>>China is strong. Yes, you are right. Chinese are very strong.
At the time of the torch relay of the Beijing Olympics. Many Chinese living in Japan occupied Japan's sidewalks and put up big Chinese flags. The Japanese who put up the Tibetan flag and the exile Tibetans were injured by them. However, the Japanese government didn't arrest these Chinese for fear of deteriorating relations with the Chinese government.
Carter Myers
Chinks are animals to be herded.
If only Spanish invasion of China went through, all of China would be Iberianized, same with japs and that power will conquer the entire asia and europe.
Spain just needed to get china in civil war and fund rebels.
Are you retarded? Even at that time China's population was many times Spain's even then, and successfully funding rebels results in a changing to a friendly government, not a colony state. Japan's method of openly declaring war to conquer China was doomed to failure as well, as they simply did not have the manpower to last in a war of attrition. One Japanese would have had to kill 10 Chinese to even achieve something close to parity, while dealing with violent resistance.
Xavier Harris
