Why are black movies so successful lately?

Why are black movies so successful lately?

It seems that in burgerland only blacks go to cinema anymore.

black people actually go to movies with their friends

America is obsessed with negro culture.

Yasssssssss

America is a welfare state

Is this post meant to be ironic?

If they're so successful why is this the only one making good money or to set a record?

They're not.

Hispanics are the main group that goes to the movies.
>Goyllywood doesn't seek to put more Hispanic actors at the forefront and picks blacks instead

I worked in a theater this summer that has close proximity to a major city. Black people love smoking weed/drinking and going to the movies with their friends. The movies over the summer catered towards that with Girl's trip and that tupac movie.

$100M is basically nothing in today's Hollywood.

Hispanics like nigger culture because white people banished them. We should have embraced the spics but now we're stuck with mexicans with short hair cuts wearing jerseys and nike sneakers listening to rap.

>black people be going out and having social lives
>white people be torrenting and posting on Sup Forums

Black people are more social creatures than white people, probably why they have more fun lives but commit more crimes.

>$100 million
It probably made a good profit for its budget, but it's not that great for an American movie.
But then again this is the year of the flops so this might be considered a boxoffice hit.

They don't. Detroit did horribly.

Is that a real movie or are you just memeing

Girl's trip is the black version of Rough Night. Made to pander for black independent women who don't need no man. The theaters were so loud with all the talking we had to turn up the volume to max in all the theaters it was showing in. Imagine a whole theater filled with black women.

That's because hispanics don't really care about that stuff. We aren't a race, so it's pretty much impossible to pander to us. The girl in the new Star Trek is Dominican, but do you think any Hispanic cared about that?

>the theaters were so loud we had to raise the volume
Gotta love it.

>The girl in the new Star Trek is Dominican, but do you think any Hispanic cared about that?
*although tbf I don't thin the general public is aware that Zoe Saldana is hispanic, she's been marketed pretty heavily as "le strong black female character". Which is true, she is black, but the hispanic thing gets ignored.

>Work in a movie theater/restaurant&bar during Girl's Trip
>Almost every showing was filled with just black women
>All paid in cash and didn't tip
>Each order had to be specially made and nothing just normal
>wasn't uncommon for the theater to be half empty and then half the people to come 10 minutes late to the movie
>theater reeked of weed whenever the movie started
>All had to use the flashlights on their phones during the movie to order their food because they were late
>none of them could whisper so they'd just shout their orders
>Would just have conversations with friends during the movie mostly not even about the movie
>treated the staff like shit especially if you were white
>needed the movie to be louder
>couldn't find their seats because reading the ticket and knowing the alphabet/counting was too hard
>In the wrong seat if i didn't help them
>At the end if they didn't try to skip check/then you were not getting a tip
it's almost the same for every black movie

...

That literally sounds like hell on earth

So this is how Sup Forums babbies are made. Gotta love it.
