gun powder
compass
paper
printing

japanese schoolers have to learn these four chink inventions somehow

>Chinks think they invented cannons
>they actually invented a paper tube full of gun powder which does literally nothing except for make a loud boom sound

It's a pretty serious step to go from firework to firearm.

Nope, basically we saw something explode and weaponized it then conquered the world. Pretty typical of Europeans desu lelelelel. Also a reasonably simple idea,
>put explode thing in back of tube
>really hard thing in front of explosion
>hard thing go fast forward!

Bonus for flintlock

they did, not just fireworks but guns with iron balls and stuff

>The oldest known archaeological fragments of the immediate precursor to modern paper date to the 2nd century BCE in China
>2nd century

You know that papyrus is named after paper thingy from 4th MILLENIUM BCE right?

>>Papyrus however are plants pressed and dried, while paper is made from fibers whose properties have been changed by maceration or disintegration

>Chinese think they invented spaghetti

Whole East Asia was still living like middle ages until the western traders arrived there.

this one is legit dumb.

But you were wrong. Papyrus is different from paper.

It’s a widely known fact that George Washington invented the first firearms in order to kill all brits and native americans he saw

i'm sorry Wikipedia makes me Chinese. also, not an argument. just admit you're wrong.

Guns as in hand cannons like rifles, muskets, etc. were invented by the Spanish. The Turks invented cannons earlier than that though. The Chinese did not make them first but they did develop them.

>The earliest depiction of a gun is a sculpture from a cave in Sichuan dating to the 12th century of a Chinese figure carrying a vase-shaped bombard with flames and a cannonball coming out of it. The oldest surviving firearm is the Heilongjiang hand cannon dated to 1288, which was discovered at a site in modern-day Acheng District where the History of Yuan records that battles were fought at that time
It wikipedia correct?
