Anybody else found it rather anti-climactic?

anybody else found it rather anti-climactic?

yeah

AHHHHH SAVE ME CHAOSH!

it just could have been so much more satisfying if there was more build up to it. like more interesting events in between, I dunno fuck this normie trash

6 seasons of being a mysterious character without clear motivations and goals and then they just kill him off. And they don't even hint at what he was trying to accomplish.

CHAOS IS A LADDER. HE WAS CLIMBING THE LADDER.

oh shit they killed off CIA?
I'm not surprised. He's a terrible actor

>in the end he was just a friendzoned loser who wanted enough power to bang his true love's daughter
It's no wonder Sup Forums likes this guy

But why did he sell her off to the Boltons when he could have done just that in the Vale peacefully?

>why did he sell her off to the Boltons
Show-runners are mentally handicapped

None of the major villain deaths in the last few years have been interesting. Ramsay's death was meh. Walder's death was boring. Now Littlefinger's death is bland.

Say what you will, but that twist fucking blew me away. Crazy shit.

Some minor lord, using chaos and intrigue to climb on society ladder as high as possible? That's been clear from season 2-3.

Yeah the tone was "it had to happen" and they hinted at it since a couple of episodes. But the reaction he had when Sansa turned to him and said "Lord Baelish?" was gold!
Him bending the knee and almost crying was very out of character though...it was anti-climatic cause the showrunners don't give a shit anymore. Sansa and Arya do it but don't even gain any satisfaction from it. Basically, it had to happen, it's done, now let's move on. Bleh.

Tommen's death was kind of symbolic of the show's downfall. I think the show lost it after that.

Show has been losing it since season 2. The books are all about a character in conflict with themselves. Every chapter touches on someone doubting themselves or deciding between principles or needs. Talisa is an example of a simple main character introduced by the show. She has no inner conflict and has an anachronistic way of interacting with others (especially kings).

I think in the fourth season you had the first episode entirely composed of original content, where Jon goes for an A-team mission beyond the wall to go back to Craster's Keep. Here you have a simple hero and a simple villain, returning to an iconic location.

It makes no sense. Arya and Sansa were maybe mad at each other, despite Arya not even wanting to be in charge, and then off-screen Sansa asks Bran to read the books and they surprise Peter Baelish, who claims to have thought about everything, including what to do when surrounded by a bunch of people who don't like him (as he's been for a year now).

Book Baelish will have a far better ending, it's obvious that he is going to "fly".

yeah, being outed by a magic cripple with no scrutiny is pretty anti-climatic.

getting his throat slit by a little twerp who never really earned her skills in a believable manner and made the Faceless Men look lame is the cherry on top of this shit sandwich.

but...is he gonna crash that plane?

>characters they don't know what to do with anymore

They've been at it for a while already.

the most insulting part of this was him acting like a retarded child asking the vale dude to escort him home, then fake crying and begging shansha... humans don't act like that unless they're 3yos.

Its because the writers have no idea how to do complex storylines and would rather settle for epic zombie battles and dragons.
Its the same reason Varys has been completely sidelined for 3 seasons.

>John snow and YAS QUEEN SLAY now has an autistic child who can see absolutely everything that's ever happened.
Wow i wonder who is going to win.

According to some alleged leaks, Varys will betray Danny and show himself to have no true allegiances whatsoever by communicating with Cersei. I can see that in his character. I never bought it that he's the one guy in the seven kingdoms, who incidentally isn't from the Westeros, who just wants to do the right thing. According to the alleged leaks, Danny sentences him to death by having one of her dragons burn him. This verdict and sentence shocks many people who she's made alliances with and bringing up bad memories of her father.

It was garbage. I hate arya. Without little finger jun snuw would be fukken dead. Fuck got shit's just a feminist shit show now,hot garbage.

4 seasons at most, he did nothing but tag along with Sansa being creepy since S5

Yes. It became painfully obvious in this season the writers have no clue what to do with characters that used to be "one step ahead" like LF and Varys. As if they were too smart for them or something.

I would have expected Death Note levels of accusing back and forth before he'd slip up.
