The "stupid girl" character of Nancye Ferguson was arguably the outline for Lucy in TP as well.

If you like caricature-esque, odd humor that revolves around the production of fictional TV show, then this is for you. Some of the jokes are so odd, they will seem more haunting than funny. It takes a while to get into, but after that you will want to watch it all.
all these little odd moments "The Lester Guy Show" etc. ...
it's definitely a thing for Lynch fans, not so much if you aren't familiar with his work.
