i see a bright future for this thread

It's already dated
>2017
>talking about things that happened in 2016
get with the times grandpa

>It's a 'writer destroys their legacy by adding modern politics to their work so it dates horribly and can't be appreciated by anybody but the people watching it at the time' episode

We need to resist 45

10 years old

Very but given the multitude of "clever" and "subtle" satires, parodies, and mockumentaries we'll be seeing over the next decade or so it probably won't be regarded as the worst

Probably as dated as Bush jokes are now
>hurr durr what a dumb Texan
Uh yeah, riveting.

Very much this. I can easily see it turning up pretty cringy.

Not much, we still get jokes about Nixon

Oh for goodness' sake, why couldn't they just leave it be?
I was looking forward to when this was coming back.

boy, if that's the most subtle one, i'd hate to see the least subtle

its dated right now

>voice of the resistance

JUST LIKE HARRY POTTER AND STAR WARS!

In 10 years do you think people will bother watching any of South Park S20?

The entire season is extremely dated and it's not even a year old

what the fuck is this shit?

Is this another reddit cartoon?

god the whole season long arc thing that SP has been doing is so bad
they need to just go back to what made them good to begin with - creative standalone episodes

>George Bush jokes are dated

Uh, yeah, because he was a decent president and a true conservative

Trump is none of those things, he will go down as the worst president in the history of the united states, worse than President Jefferson Davis or President Robert E Lee. His name will ring in infamy throughout eternity, shitting on him and everything he represents will always be relevant.

Resist facism!!!!!
#Resist

>most subtle satire

I've never seen the show but I can see election posters in the background of the picture they provided

Lol who would have thought that Donald trump of all people would make the left lose any bit sanity they had left.

Donald trump is the first thing these leftists think of when they wake up and the last thing they think of before they go to bed.

Donald fucking trump is the one who defeated the american left. lol

The man really has done it all.

>subtle anything about the recent election

Not possible.

People seem to forget the Bush Derangement Syndrome was almost as bad as the Trump Derangement Syndrome. The lefties were screaming impeach all the time as well.

Yeah anything that doesn't outright label Trump as the antichrist is too problematic for TV

what?

He's literally going to be deified like a Caesar

Keep in mind the whole season was written as though Hillary would win. The first half set up questions that the second half couldn't answer.
That's exactly what they're doing.

Unfortunately, he now represents conservatism to a lot of people, including a lot of people who used to be conservatives that now suck up to him...Real shame.

will sneedposting ever be dated?
youtube.com/watch?v=tCp3eM01dWM

>Berkowitz
Hm.

>roleplaying as cuckservatives

sad!

He can be considered hitler for all I care. As long as he keep btfo the left with executive orders and dismantling the administrative state I'm ok with that.

Tuesday is gonna be great when daca gets rescinded.

Its like trump has a mini eleciton night every month where he does something that causes a great snowflake meltdown.

holy fucking cringe

When Sneedism as an ideology is formulated it will have a bigger impact on earth than Marxism and Christianity did combined

>Keep in mind the whole season was written as though Hillary would win
even if Hillary had won it still makes the season dated

It was only minorly enjoyable in the moment, it's completely unwatchable now

He represents real american values.

>being considered hitler is a bad thing

In 2000 years Sneedposting will be a world religion with billions of followers

Depends on whether or not it will be relatable in future, probably not is the answer. Trump jokes are pretty fucking stale at this point and some comedians are even admitting that.

Television is going to be even less watchable over the next 8 years than it is now. Go ahead, call half the country Nazis. That's going real swell for the box office.

Like shit talking everyone and everything, never taking any responsibility for one's actions and being wholly unlikable?

Damn, poor Americans.

>x is y
>the resistance
>((((((((((((((berkowitz))))))))))))))

>Like shit talking everyone and everything, never taking any responsibility for one's actions and being wholly unlikable?

You just described the left. Two sides of the same coin

They need to remake some remakes again. I think it's time for a new spider man with a new all black trans cast.

>true conservative

>cucked neocon

L OOO L

It's about their coping mechanism. They still can't get over their loss.

>President Robert E Lee
Uh user

Trump actually is pushing conservative policies and he's doing very well.

Tuesday we drop daca and begin the process of ridding ourselves of anchor baby illegals.

Trump is of the left. He always has been. Weird how we pretend otherwise nowadays.

His policies aren't

It's already dated and it will be cringey, i.e. Drumpf bashing number 1000000.

Ugh, I don't want more liberal leaning shit in my life.

Reminder that people are projecting Trump onto things because of MUH IDENTITY POLITICS. Not because anything is actually there.

lots of pain and suffering

too bad about that whole liberal bias reality has.

>George W
>decent president

He literally plunged our country into inescapable Middle Eastern conflict that has been eating away at us for 15 years

Whoa there kido

head back to red dit fella

I find online there is a lot of it, but in real life not so much. I think it's mostly that conservative views posted online get shit all over and people being called Nazis so they just say nothing and vote conservative.

The difference is that it is totally inescapable now. Everyone is connected to high-speed internet 24/7 now. It's not just at work or among friends and loved ones, it's literally everywhere.

>we
you're nothing.

>the resistance

Ahahahaha

The problem with that assumption is it would indicate growing support for conservative candidates. Which simply hasn't happened. What is actually happening is more and more people are just bailing on politics due to how they're nothing but a retarded circus.

Delusions

>Uh, yeah, because he was a decent president and a true conservative
He wasn't a decent president. He was bad. Not Trump bad, but really fucking awful.

block's your way

Why do you consider him awful?

>How dated will this seem in 10 years?

It feels dated now. I can't stand any my politics in my tv shows. I won't be watching this.

>jokes are constantly made about the 90's and 2000's
>but surely THIS ALONE will be the dating factor

You know exactly why. If you don't, you weren't aware during his administration.

Yeah I remember the Digg frontpage back then

Yes its easy to imagine the future having civil wars appear out of nowhere, as everyone can be radicalised in echochambers where you gain virtue from extreme opinion. Its just so easy to turn families and communities against each other with this.

This.
Aren't Americans sick of the election since I don't know last august?

Nah. It's mainly the right becoming hyper polarized while everyone else stays the same. Studies have been done on this.

news.wgbh.org/2017/03/15/politics-government/major-new-study-shows-political-polarization-mainly-right-wing

I'm not American. I'm just curious as to why you think he's awful, he was portrayed as being liked by the public here.

...

(((studies)))

>Consistent theme regarding the 90s that serves a purpose is the same as getting uppity about 2016 politics for no reason other than FUCK GRTRAMPHFT AND FUCK WI PEE PO
Brainlet detected

user, take a look at this graph. That's Bush Jr.'s approval over time. See that huge spike? That's 9/11. The country was shocked and looked towards its leader and he gave a decent verbal response. Then he proceeded to profoundly fuck it up over the next 7 years, leaving him bottoming out at the low 30s. It turns out starting trillion dollar wars on false pretenses, crashing the economy, and being responsible for the PATRIOT act weren't super big with the American public, not to mention how he drove the right wing further towards anti-intellectualism and religious fanaticism, precipitating the band of idiots that would go on to elect Trump eight years after he left office.

The obvious flaw with your study is that its definition of polarization is pretty skewed. By its own definition, having moderately nationalist, reactionary, or liberal opinions is radical but having democratically socialist, globalist, and categorically progressive opinions is normal. It's literally "radicalization is anything I'm not used to seeing." It's a pedantic conclusion made for manipulative purposes.

The show is filled to the brim with pop culture references. You really think "A Ryan Seacrest Type" will last the test of time? You're cherrypicking what will and won't date the show. Don't worry, dear leader will still be president when the meanie horse show is done mocking him.

jesus christ just shut the fuck up.

you people are so fucking dishonest.

do you really think people havent noticed all the shit the far left has been doing on campuses? how the number of genders doubles each month?

obama was against gay marriage in 2008. everything is moving left so incredibly fast. its a fucking joke that you can pretend everyone is "staying the same"

But that doesn't skew the results since it's studying how far each group goes over time. The definition remains constant.

Was it him or was it his administration, though?

I doubt your president has authoritan powers to pass legislation by snapping their fingers, so you can't really blame him without also blaming the suits in the senate/congress or however your system works.

>you people are so fucking dishonest.
No, user, you've just been tricked by rightwing rags and Russian propaganda to think the real problem is muslims, mexicans, and feminists and not the people trying to gut your healthcare, kill the environment, and worsen the income gap by cutting taxes for the rich.

Feel free to ree.

let's hope so, and the truth of fascism can be realised

>President Robert E Lee

*Breaths in*

luis alvarez...

Again, the pedantry; yes, the Right has ideologically changed in the past few years but that doesn't mean the Left hasn't become radicalized. The Right was castrated for mass appeal under Reagan to where the only "conservative" principle was liberal markets. Meanwhile, advocating racial violence has been acceptable for the Left for decades and now they're finally making good on it.

>Was it him or was it his administration, though?

The buck stops with the president. He authorized it all. He was the standardbearer for the party.

>I doubt your president has authoritan powers to pass legislation by snapping their fingers, so you can't really blame him without also blaming the suits in the senate/congress or however your system works.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_order_(United_States)

But regardless, the president is the leader of the party. He has the ability to veto explicitly granted by the constitution and also has significant political power (in normal circumstances) and appoints individuals to push agendas. He deliberately misinformed the public on Iraq. He fucked up the response to Katrina. He was a bad president.

hopefully you are just a troll and not the idiot you present yourself as

oh it says 45, i'm retarded for not figuring that before

> The buck stops with the president. He authorized it all.

Wow so you acknowledge Obama was to blame for everything that went wrong in America 2008-2016

Oh the rules dont apply to you, only to others, ok

do people even watch this show? i feel bad thinking about it

i noselaughed

>Again, the pedantry

It's not pedantry.

>Meanwhile, advocating racial violence has been acceptable for the Left for decades and now they're finally making good on it.

Which group ran over Heather Hayer again? Right.

The right is getting more and more radicalized as the republicans become a less popular party. Their strategy is no longer to have mass appeal, but to drive their most devoted (read: insane) followers to the polls, gerrymander the shit out of congress, and make everyone else apathetic enough to not vote. This means they have to be crazier and crazier. That's what drove the southern strategy in the first place.

>Wow so you acknowledge Obama was to blame for everything that went wrong in America 2008-2016

You mean the economy recovering, healthcare getting a much needed though still incomplete overhaul, and human rights expansion for all citizens? Yeah, I'm fine with crediting Obama for all of that.

>ran over
You were too desperate to show your hand, now everyone can see you're shitposting.

Seriously dated. In 2010, the 2000 election was already ancient history.

Nope, 100% earnest. You said the left were the ones advocating racial violence. Which group killed Heather Hayer?
