>what is SAP

you didn't buy enough Nokia products

we too

Corporatism is not compatible with IT, only with manufacturing industries

We have Philips. The inventor of the CD, lightbulb and other tech stuff.

Too much government intervention slows economic growth. Fortunately the tide is turning in Europe.

US IT companies buy any promising start-up in Europe

>SAP
Yes, what is SAP ? Tell me
It's really finn in 2018 ? If yes I buy

who would you gf?

>tfw no motorola gf

We have software companies, but basically 0 hardware companies.

>>SAP
>Yes, what is SAP ? Tell me
software that runs very many businesses

>use open source licenses
>be bought
>create another company
>continue from where you were

Why wouldn't this work?

they will use their huge resources to outcompete you, by offering same product for less money

Death to the EU.

Kys traitor

Hardware is becoming less and less profitable. Software is were the cash is at

Can't betray a union we're not a part of.

The Netherlands has Phillips. We also have the most datacenters after the USA and large webhosters. And websites like booking.com and ixquick/startpage. Plus large American players like ebay and amazon cant compete with local players like marktplaats and bol.com here.

>Wanting to become an oligarch run shithole

Huawei but their phones are too for plebs

We also used to have alternatives to Facebook and Google, but they got bought out.

?

Continentals are useless at anything that demands more grey matter than a Chinese factory line.

America has literally all the biggest tech companies. It's amazing.

The question is if they'll stagnate like Japanese tech companies did so that China might overtake them.

>le center left man
Nope

America is very good at one thing. Which is rolling things out on a global scale. While European companies usually stay within their language borders.

>Macron
>center-left
Now I know that americans politics are retarded, blue-red wrestling matches, but come on

Huawei/HTC clearly

savage

And pornhub!

>no adventure capitalists like in USA
>very conservative investors in Europe
>very small chances for startups to get anywhere
thats why

Why is that ?

>The question is if they'll stagnate like Japanese tech companies did so that China might overtake them.
The three biggest Chinese companies are a conglomerate that doesn't really do anything but buy existing properties, a shopping site and a search engine. I don't think the Americans have much to fear in that regard.

Nah, you're just a bitch slave to them.

He’s right (rational) on certain issues but clearly centrist economically and leftwing on social issues.

Giant companies nowadays don't have a country anymore. Apple may have started in the US, but produces its goods in China and pays its taxes in Ireland. The US are actually in a trade deficit for billions with China for iPhones alone

Daily reminder that you are not a real European if you don't use Linux.

What did he mean by this ?

Siemens?

t. NSA worker who wants to spy on everyone

>Motorola is a giant titted blonde

B-but Motorola is really practical and sturdy. This makes no sense :s

Even google with infinite bucks is failing to make a breakthrough in hardware. The hardware market is oversaturated and the profit margins are smaller than those in software

Yuroshits don't have balls to start a risky business.

It was Europe's biggest mistake that German Qimonda went bankrupt
The government should have supported it
Now, Samsung earns only with memory

JIJ BENT DIE AUTIST WAAR IK HET OP DE NEDERDRAAD OVER HAD

>leftwing on social issues
Like what?

Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Google are all exactly what the brit dissed. Apple buys up every company that could possibly challenge it and then strangles it in the crib.

Amazon likewise. Google lobbies the US government. Facebook does solely social media.

All are increasingly conglomerates with business in different non-tech areas. Apple has $300 billion in cash and uses it like a bank.

Calling Tencent, Baidu, and Alibaba conglomerates is basically meaningless. All the tech giants are conglomerates.

Meanwhile...

He is leftwing relative to world average, which is exactly how I base my judgments.

It's not hypocrisy to do unto another what you wouldn't have them do unto you. Just because I eat beef doesn't mean I want to wake up to a cow pushing me into a meat grinder.

It's because we're not united. The reason they do is literally because X gets imported from A state, Y from B state, all assembled in C state and sold in every single state, all the while with zero tariffs and a very good interstate connection plus workers freely relocating to the HQ state like it's just another town in their country (which it actually is). That was the very point of the EU and the reason they shat out so much money for the highways but it kinda got interrupted by the crisis, hopefully it will pick up again soon. It's also the reason why China too has massive companies. It's also the reason why Hitler initiated the highway program and sperged out so hard when he couldn't integrate Danzig (and East Prussia) with rest of Germany

Read this book if you're interested into the topic, it explains the above for pretty much every major country in history, from Ancient Egypt to modern USA
