For the past couple of films Pixar has really dropped the ball on character designs. This looks very generic from low budget studios.

No shit OP you dumb mothefucker

Yuck that whole poster is disgusting to me.

>we want the beaner audience

high pitched humanoid animals, check
shitty polka beaner carnival music, check
fart jokes, check

This doesn't even look like Disney anymore

me too

I'll be skipping this one. I really dislike Hispanic culture.

me too, and I'm Hispanic

Has that movie even come out, yet? Feels like it's been advertised for years.

WHIP IT THROUGH THE GLASS NIGGA

PERRO

>We want the SFM incest porn audience

we Hispanics are taking over

...

We need to reach out to brown

They're trying to get the whole 30 person in a single apartment Mexican families to go
Not trying to capture anything like kid's imagination with toys or cars or even dinosaurs.
That doesn't make as much money.

It's weird they made literally all of them fat or ugly

I feel like throwing up. Mexoshits are so disgusting.

>The Good Dinosaur and Cars 3 both flopped
>This looks even more bland than those movies
What happened?

I don't know if you're aware of this, but most of the Pixar veterans have been moved to Disney Animation studios. This, and The Good Dinosaur are products of Pixar's "B Team". It'se also why they're cranking out so many sequels. Dunno if the change is permanent

What has disney animation studios made that isn't shit recently? Did they gain anything from moving those people around?

See

theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2017/06/how-pixar-lost-its-way/524484/

Basically Disney is moving Pixar talent into their own studios

Zootopia, I guess? Moana was definitively a miss

>The Good Dinosaur
>accidentally read it as The Gook Dinosaur

Coco is directed by Lee Unkrich who directed Toy Story 3 and was co-director for Nemo, TS 2 and Monsters Inc. So who knows, Pixar really needs some redemption, this might not be shit but I'm not holding my breath.

It was his destiny but you already knew that

Don't forget Frozen. That movie has been a monster at making money.

>Hispanic culture
but this is a spic movie?

Didn't they already do this with The Book of Life?

Is Disney really that uncreative now that they have to ripoff Dreamworks?

>Movie named Coco
>Is not about pic related

I'm a spic and I fucking hate it too. The only thing I actually like in relation to spic culture is Dia De Muertos. I actually find it kind of sweet.

>Moana was definitely a miss

ITT: Self hating chicano trash.

What's wrong? They're just catering to the fastest growing demographic in their country.

The film wasn't bad, but I don't think it made that much money (640M Worldwide) compared to Frozen

640 mil is definitely not a miss especially with merchandise and home video. It's no Frozen that's for sure but I doubt Disney execs are crying in their lairs.

It was still a success. The movie's that end up breaking a billion (Frozen, Finding Dory) are usually the worst, funny enough

*Watches Coco while eating a taco with large soda*

I still haven't been able to understand the unbelievable success Frozen had with kids. To me it just seemed the most generic story and flat characters, but kids fucking LOVE that shit. I have no idea.

Police should raid every single showing of this movie and deport everyone in the theater.

I think I might see the movie just so I can yell La Migra right in the middle of it. Watch the roaches scatter.

If a movie doesn't make at least a billion, it's considered a failure on this board.

While adult love to masturbate over how mature and well made movies like The Incredibles and Toy Story 3 are it's the sillier simpler movies like Cars that make money. Kids are kids, they don't care about particularly good story telling, Cars, Despicable Me, Minions, have been massive successes and in the case of Frozen it's the music that makes kids go apeshit, especially little girls.

>wins the oscar

They have the same face.

I totally forgot Cars 3 and Good Dinosaur came out
What was the plot for the latter?

dreamworks tier

That's something common in every family, retard.

The sad truth is that this will most definitely win no matter how shit it is. Look what it would probably be up against
>Despicable Meme 3
>Cars 3
>Lego Batman
>Captain Underpants
>Boss baby?
What a shit year for mainstream animation. If Disney didn't blow their load early last year they could have released Moana in 2017 and easily swept every animation award, instead of having to directly compete with Zootopia

fucking taconiggers

Where's my waifubait

A cowardly dinosaur finds a caveman kid and returns him home. I think. There are some cowboy T-rexes.

I actually like Dia de Muertos and want to see it referenced more.

I'll watch any type of movie with something different. I'm tired of the capeshit/romcom/sequel/prequel/reboot.

>it's the sillier simpler movies like Cars that make money.
>Neither of the first two Cars movies passed $600 million and Cars 3 flopped hard

Don't worry, Cartoon Saloon will save 2017 with another piece of absolute kinography. Too bad it will never ever win the oscar.

imdb.com/title/tt3901826/

I like it too and I'm hoping it's good but so far it's seems a little disappointing especially considering Pixar's recent record.

I liked Moana but because it was set in a non-descript past, it was fantasy.

>mom look i'm being edgy on the internet! bring me 7 more hot pockets bitch!!

Will Pixar ever produce new kino ever again?

Zootopia was good because it felt like a Shane Black directed cartoon.

>Moana was definitively a miss

So this...... THIS!!! is the power of mental retardation

They've made easily equal that in merchandise sales and will do even better with the sequel

not every movie is going to make a billion dollars

Not everything is ticket sales. In the case of Cars that shit has made billions in merchandise.
hollywoodreporter.com/news/disney-cars-has-crossed-8-99438

>tfw Zootopia was so close to being one of my favorite animated movies, but they ruined it with the #notallpredators

Like I said earlier, if a movie doesn't make a billion, it's a flop and failure according to Sup Forums. Some examples of movies called failures here are Inside Out and Spiderman Homecoming, which made 850+ and 746 (so far).

>Your name and Koe no Katachi were never even nominated

dude blorpf lmao

madre mia that dog look like shit
Book of Life is superior than this piece of shit
for starters it was made by an actual Mexican and has better art style than that coco shit
also there is more to day of the dead in my culture ,fucking hollywood kikes get some originality

>weebshit

What was the last good Pixar movie? Inside Out?

Yes

This looks CVS bargain bin bad

Lol there was an article about "how hard it is so make skeletons look appealing" etc when Book of Life already did it years ago.

...

>Most of them are short, fat and stumpy

Pretty accurate

>Mexican based animated movie
>day of the dead aesthetic

So Mexico has no culture other than burritos and walking skeletons?

Why is every post in this thread so fucking ignorant

Book of Life, Nightmare before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Grim Fandango and who knows how many other have done appealing skeletons. Pixar same the same shit about Inside Out about how the wanted to go to old style of cartooning like Tex Avery and they were the first to do it in cgi, yet other movies like Cloudy with a Chance beat them to the punch.

Decapitations too

Guey dia de los muertos jajaja

It's like french food, italian mafia, brazil and soccer, etc... it's the immediate things that people recognize about those people/countries/cultures.

>mfw captain kinopants will lose the oscar to fucking beaner pandering

FUCKing putos can't stand eet that their country is turning brown, and there's NOTHEENG they can do about eet

chicanos

>del toro produces Book of Life an homage to his heritage and to promote awareness for his people
>goes out with a whisper
>literally the same movie with a disney sticker slapped on it
>OMG I LOVE IT, LOOOVE MY HERITAGE FINALLY GETTING RECOGNITION
I hate people

Spics are subhuman.

I blame you.

It didnt do great but its still getting a sequel.

>del toro anything
>mainstream
pick one

AY AY AY LAS CARAS DE DREAMWORKS

Our only hope are those "Chinese fucking things" the Academy nominates at least two of every year.

Last Pixar movie I watched was Brave and it was so shitty that I lost my love for Pixar. Havent watched even one movie that has come out after that. And before, I had seen every single Pixar movie in theaters. Not sure if I just got older or Pixar really is that bad.

Cars 3 actually had a plotpoint about Lighting McQueen being threatned to become a corporate shill, the hypocritical cunts

CACA

MANY SUCH CASES

The beaners already put out a good pixar-esque movie.

UMA

What ugly ass designs, the kid just has a digusting face. And its not because mexican as I like Marco in Star VS. and the Legend Quest kid is alright.

And Sheen from Jimmy Neutron and Manny Rivera from El Tigre? Or Raimundo Pedrosa From Xiolin Showdown even though he's more of a Brazilian but that's worst than being a Mexicano.
Captcha: Reparation Geis

and me

I'm imagining the Juarez corpse bridge scene in Sicario done by Pixar. I'd pay to see that.

>says this while posting inbrd experiments lain
