...

>villains show up, immediately act suspicious, have their crime shown in a flashback, and all die all within five minutes
Shit screenplay

t. /r/movies user

everyone dies at the end? even the "good guys" like brenner and olsen

I personally didn't like the writing in Sicario, so on the fence about watching this movie

Not everyone dies. It's a pretty straight forward movie but I liked it

thanks, i think i'll watch it

The moment they mentioned the oil field I instantly knew it was them. Predictable movie, though enjoyable.

this thread does a great job of representing the collective ignorance/stupidity of Sup Forums

Good time

>makes stupid post calling everyone else stupid

Shot Caller

I've been watching lots of older movies lately and I'm starting to become convinced that movies these days are shit. I've recently watched True Lies, Lost in Translation and American Beauty and I've not watched anything that came out recently that is anywhere near that kind of quality.

All of those are mildly diverting shit, tho LiT is good for one serious watch where you get to softly fuck an artsy/quirky girl after.

Second this, Shot Caller was fantastic.

is was good until they get trapped in Drumpfsville and it turns into the first movie again

Get Out
Stranger Things season 2

The fact that nobody has mentioned Twin Peaks yet is fucking sad.

meme show

reddit has rick and morty
Sup Forums has Twin Peaks

>le au contraire memeseur

A Cure for Wellness was my most hyped movie of the year and it didnt disappoint. There was only 6 people in the theatre opening night; 4 others besides me and my girl. Shit flopped!

Raw, It Comes At Night and A Ghost Story were all great too.

...

I hear the aesthetic is beautiful and worth watching for alone. Are there any other redeeming qualities? I'm hoping the story and acting aren't as bad as they're made out to be.

>A Ghost Story
that looks pretty good, but today was the last showing in my city

Pic related. Also try Good Time and Infinity Baby.

I liked Baby Driver more than Dunkirk but both are pretty meh imo, I'm still looking forward to Good Times, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Happy End and maybe A Ghost Story

Dunkirk is infinitely better and more original than that badly overwritten cliche filled generic mess that goes on for 30 minutes too long.
