Wolfman ruined Teen Titans by staying on the title for too long, and DC ruined Teen Titans not getting a star writer on it after he left.
Wolfman/Titans started going downhill after Perez left but it didn't get mediocre to downright awful until the late 80s and early 90s.
And then when DC relaunched it in the mid 90s Berganza rejected Morrison's Teen Titans pitch and put Jurgens on the title, and we all know how mediocre that was. Actually we don't know because nobody fucking read it because nobody cared about that team or Jurgens on the book.
