It's been over two years, but the time has come once again. Tomorrow, at approximately 8 am UTC−04:00, over 2 million civilians will march towards and inside the capital of Venezuela. Whether this march will culminate at some national landmark or at the presidential palace's gates with his head on a pike is up for debate. [1]
The protest is supposed to be peaceful, but then again so were the ones back in 2014. [2] Anyone with a quarter of a brain knows this will end in a generalized riot at best, a full blown old fashioned south american revolution at worst.
The protest was announced weeks ago, and the government has taken appropriate measures to prevent it. Among these are, in no particular order: full blown militarization of the capital in order to prevent the protest from taking place [3] [4]; detaining and preventing people from entering the capital [5]; detaining and arresting opposition leaders with no reason [6]; key leaders abducted by the political police [7]; threatening to shoot at protesters [8].
Being merely hours away from whatever happens, I just want to ask:
>What do you think will be the ultimate outcome?
>Any of you Sup Forumsacks ever been in a riot? Got any useful tips for when it takes a turn for the worst?
>Do you support the cause?
I'll be on for a couple of hours, until I join my caravan and leave for the capital with my flag and my gas mask. If you guys have any questions, shoot.
PD: I'll add sources in next post. Some will be in spanish.
