Boss pays me minimum wage

>boss pays me minimum wage
>mfw he expects more than minimum effort

If he wanted me to work harder, he would pay me more.

if you put in more than bare minimum effort you would recieve more than bare minimum pay

Your skills are worth the minimum wage.

>user posts it again
If you wanted me to pay attention you should at least change the anime girl.

>minimum wage doubles
>don't work twice as hard since it's still minimum wage

That logic makes no sense when working for a boss that has a history of not giving raises

>he thinks wages correspond to effort

>boss pays me $30/hr
>post on pol

The perks of being IT

If you want to get paid more, work harder.

You working at maximum capacity is worth minimum wage.

>implying he even has any besides handing out a paper bag full of food

If he did give you a raise, would you actually work harder?

your plumbing skills are worth less than minimum.

maybe its just because youre workign a job that requires minimum skill then

made you should get a different job

>boss starts me at $10 an hour
>possible pay raise in three months if I can prove myself
oh baby

>Made minimum wage at Walmart when they still paid minimum
>Ask to be trained on all the forklifts they have
>Get certified
>Apply at warehouse driving sit down forklifts all day making 19 an hour
>Get hired because my experience on them

You gotta learn how to use your current job as an opportunity for a better one.

> expecting higher wages doing a job that pays minimum wage

That's why spics like me get hired and move up and you stay mooching off of mom's benefits you damb neet

Don't worry comrade, when I finish the Meritocratic Doctrine, we will rise to square the democracy!

>get paid 25/hr
>sit on my ass and test samples while doctors do all the hard work
Its not about the effort, it's about how stupid u are to not get a decent job without spending 10yrs in college.

>Wage

I have a Salary. What the fuck is a person receiving wages posting here?

The only wagecucks I know in Singapore are legit stupid people and foreigners.

If you worked harder you would be paid more

>work in a job that can have you replaced with any idiot on the street
>"If he wanted me to work harder, he would pay me more."

They're expecting a job to get done. If you don't make it happen I'd readily fire you and have you replaced with another knuckle dragger in literal days if not hours.

Don't even need to know what job you have to know you're just another entitled cunt who thinks menial labor is worth anything more than dirt.

I completely agree, which is why plumbers, construction workers, and electricians should get paid no more than $1 a day for their work as its dirty work.

Have fun being unemployed.

We live in Merica.
Work is like consensual sex.
If one party doesn't agree it's rape (see Communism)
Do whatever the fuck you want but if you get fired its your fault. OR get a better job.

On the contrary. Plumbers are high demand trade workers, and for that reason they tend to get paid quite well. They're worth a lot.

holy fucking shit, that's savage. Sauce?

>one post by this ID
>subject discussed to hell and back here
>weebshit pic

Nice slide thread kike

lol no they are below the worth of minimum wage, anyone paying over $1 a day is getting cucked by them.

ben shapiro wannabe

>mfw i make more than minimum wage
>mfw i still give only minimum effort

Sounds like you're just a fucking retard with no job skills, OP.

Season 4 of Major.

>OR get a better job.
Why doesn't everybody just get a better job amirite?

Let's see you set up all the plumbing in a 2 story house then

Let's see you working 14 hours in a chinese factory

>Building a new house
mind of a minimum wage cuck right here folks

>Not building a house to your liking.

Poorfag detected

>What is the housing crash

Is it a stopgap job where you're in college? Are you hoping to work your way up eventually? Is it a job where your pay is fixed, or do you work your way up with time?

There are a lot of variables at play here. A lazy, competent worker is much better than a motivated, incompetent worker, in my experience.

If you show you're a solid worker and motivated, you'll quickly find out how valuable your job finds you, even in a minimum wage environment.

Back in college, I worked a minimum wage job, and was able to get significant concessions on the part of my workplace when threatening to leave at various points. I was able to pick my schedule and hours, have all managers not say a word to me even if I was standing around, and get a raise.

Do your job and do it well, and good things will be in play for you.

grandpa, that mentality is no longer in the work place like it was in your time.

That's because everyone in Singapore that isn't Singaporean gets told to fuck off.

Wow, so I'm a 24-year-old grandpa talking about experiences from two or three years ago? You got me there.

Keep that self-defeating attitude, though, it's clearly doing wonders for you.

>White
>working for minimum wage

Nigger what are you doing

OP, i have a question.

How hard would you work, if you would own (lets say you get free, and no debt) a small farm and it would be self sufficient?

1-5 scale

You can fundamentally not like what says, but they arent wrong. The problem is that certain employers have no incentive to actually treat there employees well, because if it is menial labor literally anyone with a pulse can probably do the job. Hell, I work in the tech industry and anyone with a fucking pulse could do my job.

The problem isnt that the information he states is wrong, the problem is that it is right.

Same here.
Tech-illiterate bosses are the best.
I don't even have to worry about him finding out since I literally control everything here.

Get a job; you'll lose this opinion in a few years. You're technically right, but the raises stagnate quickly. The best salary increases come from changing place of employment.

I make 20.31 and im only a 2nd year apprentice unionized steamfitter.

Get your shit together, wagecuck.
Learn some skills

>Doing security for amazing pay of 2.5$/h (which is normal pay in my slave country)
>After almost 12 hours sit down for two minutes
>Of course boss is walking around, just my luck
>Why the fuck are you not patroling?
>I was walking entire night, I'm not allowed to rest for a bit?
>I don't pay you to rest!
>You barely pay me so I should barely work.
>Why the fuck don't you change jobs then?!
>Because it's too much effort to write up a leave notice, isn't paperwork your job anyway? So fire me.
>Walks away fuming.
>Apparently he can't fire me because I'am 50% of all employees in the building able to speak English and despite it being 'unqualified menial labor' most pussies can't handle more than week of walking and forcefully escorting of homeless/thieves from property.

Feels good to drink beer and smoke weed with impunity at my job, there's no point in making effort in country where people with colleges earn less than people in American McDonalds.

So I'll probably keep shitty easy job in future and start selling drugs or something on the side if I want more out of life, but every day I want less and less.

What is the point of working harder if you will still get the same?

Promotions and raises are not that common

>Singaporeans get wages
>wages

lmfao

>24
sure thing grandpa

This is one of most tear-inducing things I've read on Sup Forums.

You work hard enough not to get fired.

You do that regardless of pay.

Paying you more wouldn't make you work harder.

This is honestly me x1000000 and I do not care if someone reverse hacks this post and figures out where I work because this is the most true thing that has ever been written ever.

If you don't work hard, you are a fucking shitty worker and deserve to be fired. There is no excuse for not working hard when you accept a job that someone is paying you an agreed upon amount of money to do. How old are you?

answer my question

Now you see why pedro took your job.

Nah, that's all skilled labor. Stuff that I don't want to hand off to a pimpled teenager, a feeble retiree, or a Mexican that knows three words of English.
Those are jobs you want to give someone with those particular skills and experience, which makes their labor between three and four times the value of minimum wage. Electrician's higher than that.
I fix appliances piecework for a living, being one of only four professionals in the area I can charge a minimum wage guy his entire day's pay pushing carts at Walmart for half an hour of my time, and I'm still undercutting the competition.

Why is Canada so stupid?

>First day of first job, still a trainee and learning as I go
>Older female coworker calls me a stupid little boy because she's not getting as many diners in her area
>Make sure she gets the least amount of diners the rest of my shift as host
I was just trying to even things out, if she was gonna talk shit she shouldn't have done it within 20ft of me.

Good goy...

>Made no effort in school
>Expects to get anything better than bare minimum wage jobs.

Stop posting this you lazy shit.
