They are already paying taxes here in Ireland. There was no problem with that, there never was. Ireland has low corporate tax which increases foreign investment.
The thing is, Ireland heavily relies on this foreign investment because we barely produce anything ourselves other than a surplus of jobs in the tertiary sector and our farming industry has left much to be desired.
If the EU starts meddling on our corporate taxing, they will also be harming our potential in future foreign investment into this country. Which is bad.
