These issues are undefendable
>no set design, feels empty and lifeless
>no interesting ideas for storylines and generally bad writing
>relies on gimmicks only instead
>those are unoriginal or just bad, unfortunately ("fuck you, albert", glove, andy and lucy, coordinates, riddles, ...)
>bad acting (Bell, Lynch, Horse, Robertson, Dern, ...)
>dull characters (one-dimensional at best)
>storylines and characters are introduced for no purpose
>everything is supposed to weirdly connect and make sense
>shot in digital in a way that doesn't compensate for the technology's disadvantages (looks bad)
>roadhouse scenes (out of place, badly shot, the songs, the bands, the extras, ...)
>student-tier storytelling/editing (characters are shown walking up complete sets of stairs)
>stretched out needlessly, long takes have no particular effect
>obviously delusional and/or inexperienced fanbase perceiving it as particularly meaningful, complex or "deep"
>can't compare to the original series that doesn't have those problems (coherent/complex and beautiful sets, costumes and make-up/well shot/well acted/well written/magnificent multi-dimensional characters and character relations, music, storylines and gimmicks/creates a unique athmosphere as a result, changing the world of television forever whereas "the return" neither manages to do something established really good nor to invent something new)
>extended pitch black scenes because of a lack of a competent cinematographer
>audio issues with microphone static left unaddressed because of poor sound design
>extremely poor editing with magically disappearing extras and production staff accidentally walking into frame
>somehow the best thing in tv history

Where was he?

>insert copy pasta

Little Nicky killed him

How did Coop get out the lodge so easily the second time

Just strolls out in to the woods.

...

>>no set design
what did he mean by this though?

Bad Coop is in there now. Presumably he can now leave as he pleases.

why does lynch like sunset boulevard so much?

Fire walks with him now.

He had the courage now.

Jazz hands.

that he's trying to force a badly written pasta that doesn't even bait properly

why was episode 17 so cheesy? lucy being deus ex machina, one punch lad destroying bob, naido turning up to be diane...

If you think about it, all of Laura's problems are because she DIDN'T GO EASY ON THE GARMONBOZIA.

Kek

that glove guy didnt make any sense

Lynch is a hack

So 18 can shit all over it

To make you realize that isn't the best way to end Twin Peaks.

It was a parody of the resolution everyone wanted, thereby giving Lynch license to make the finale it needed.

His experience as Dougie has made him into a magician, he can actually use the Lodge's powers now.

>that room
plz be a cute girl or a trap

If everything is about laura palmer...who is laura palmer anyway? What is her significance? I though she was simply a start/catarse to put everything in motion, nothing more.

Why the fuck was Naido Diane anyways? That makes no sense to me. Did Boop cross her into the shadow realm after he raped her or what? Why did she look different?

>She's gone
>She's gone
>She's gone away

Lynch, you cheeky fucker.

Because it’s a bad dream

>stole a shitty pasta and made it better
>gets tons of (you) every thread
h-he don't know how t-to bait right that y-yucky meanie

Laura, I've said this before, and I'll say it again, because I worry about you. We've been friends for a long time, and God knows the stuff we've been through - and so do you. You've always cultivated that free spirit, that weird way you have to do things, and I respect that. I don't often meddle in your life, because I know that you can handle your own problems in your own way. So when I come to you talking in a serious manner like this, you're one to know that the situation is not like it usually is. And both of us know pretty well what this is about, don't we?... Yeah, we do. That garmonbozia. You're not going easy on it, Laura, and it worries me, because anything can happen right now. You're not your usual you, you're acting strange, and I don't know what else to do. I'm reaching to you personnally, because we're both adults, and have a long history together. We both care about each other, and know when it's time to ask each other politely - as I am asking you at the momment - to go EASY. Taking it easy is not an easy thing, if you get me. You probably do, you're a smart gal. Always have been... But you're letting yourself go, and it's getting to everyone of us. People are often asking "is she going to take it easy on the garmonbozia?". Because, man, this is getting really out of hand. So, I'll say this once more, and it's because of everything we have with each other, and I believe I can honestly come to you and say it: Laura.... please, buddy..... easy on the garmonbozia.

That's exactly what happened. You need to rewatch Part 16 when she recounts the rape.

imagine fucking on this bed

A special angelic spirit custom made by the Fireman to counter Judy creating BOB and a bunch of other lesser evil spirits after we detonated a nuclear device and they entered our world.

WHO THE FUCK WAS BILLY

>imagine if that was ur face
haha

>Diane Evans
>Rich Evans

Assuming they decide not to do a season 4 or a movie, will they announce this? It's a limited series atm so even if they decide not to make more they wouldn't have to like announce cancellation. I'm okay with them not making anymore I just want to know, I don't want to spend the next ten years sitting around wondering if it'll ever come back. It'll be way easier for all of us I think to come to terms with this as an ending if we know it's an ending.

Fireman created her from a part of himself like JUDY made BOB from part of herself, she's like the avatar of the dreamer or some shit

I honestly believe that he asked Lynch why he's picking him for such a huge role in his TV show, after all he's done is make a YouTube video doing different accents and Lynch probably replied "well why not you?"
This thought makes me feel completely okay with it

ahahaha
L

Y

N

D O N B. J O H N S O N

make sense of it

Why's she look so different? Even the alternate reality Coop and Diane look like Coop and Diane. But post-rape Diane is some nip.

>ywn fuck MILF Sheryl on that bed

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Dick went funny boom boom.

Now this is a sex scene I wanna see.

If Richard and Linda exist from the first time we see them in a car st night how comes he says Diane before fucking

>Drove MJA, Sherilyn Fenn and Julee Cruise insane
>Traumatized Naomi Watts by forcing her to masturbate on screen
>Runs a literal cult
>Raped his daughter and murdered Jack Nance
>Made James Marshall's anus fall out
>Loaded black grandma porn onto Ray Wise's computer
>Gave David Bowie, Catherine E. Coulson and Miguel Ferrer cancer

How can we stop this man?

she looks haggard

Her reaction at 15:35 (and on) was my reaction.

youtu.be/bi22RvKGaQ0

>raped her, tied her up and took her to the shadow realm to continue to rape her
>got bored
>turned her into a asian woman, raped her, blinded her, raped her some more and then left to go rape someone else

>almost as tall as Kyle, and not even in heels

Goddamn why is he such a manlet

What the fuck happened? I realise most of you have already discussed this, but I just watched it now.

they won't announce anything unless they're making more

so there will always be a chance

i'd like to smack the guy who made that

I'm guessing by the time the new book is out, we will know for sure.

So that 18 could come around and remind us all what Twin Peaks was really about. The rape and abuse of a teenage girl, something that could never be undone.

Part 17 is the schlock fantasy, Part 18 takes us back to the core of the show, Cooper failed in his attempt to save Laura.

She's hot.

Who is this sperm vermin

Well the theory is that Coupe remembers everything even as Richard, The Coop and Gordon would remember the unofficial story. So the question shouldn't be why does Coop call her Diane, the question should be if that theory is correct why after he calls her Diane does she not say "wut my name is Linda"

>through the darkness of future past, the magician longs to see one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all

That nigga is 5'11" what do you expect

this, the ending where everyone finally came together felt meta, kinda reminded me of the congratulations scene from evangelion

This is pretty much all I can think about right now

Just watched the last episode. Correct me if Im wrong.
They've beaten the evil.
Cooper can even save Laura by sending her in an other reality where she's been given an other life.
Diane and Coop also cross to that other reality (for whatever reason).
Creepy sex.
Diane left a note with different names because they're also different people here.
Cooper goes find Laura Palmer, brings her to Twin Peaks and she screams in horror because by seeing her old house she remembers the nightmare she went through.

MARK, I SAW THIS LAD ON YOUTUBE THE OTHER NIGHT, WE HAVE TO USE HIM ON THE RETURN. I THINK WE COULD GIVE HIM A GLOVE WITH SUPERPOWERS OR SOMETHING.

can someone make the darkness transparent?

>Laura's soul was freed from it's suffering and went to heaven at the end of FWWM
>Coop thought he could best beings that are manifestations of pure malice and suffering and undid this

Good job Special Agent Cooper

MIKE's a good guy. A real patriot and friend of the Feds.

Yes and her tp reactions were 10/10.

Her crying at the credits roll was me. Holy shit and im a grown assed hairy assed man.

more like how can we stop this stale meme

Fucking manlets.

Al Strobel aged really well, he doesn't look much older than he did in the original.

It's an unfinished series. Leaving an ending ambiguous is one thing. Leaving dozens of vital plot points unaddressed while introducing dozens of new vital unaddressed plot points in your finale in exchange for a steady stream of obscure visuals is pretentious, masturbatory, and lazy.
And I'm actually a huge Lynch fan. It is not "Lynchian" to allow the audience to invest in dozens of characters and plot lines only to crap on all of it and make it all meaningless at the very end. Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway... these great films are obscure and ambiguous. But they generally provide a framework for meaningful speculation and analysis. Episode 18 entirely destroyed any semblance of a framework. It was lazy and cheap.

She was cursed to be asian by evil Cooper, but then good Cooper freed her of that curse and she went back to being white again.

Love her desu

literally a buffy the vampire slayer plot

I want to white lodge her if you get what I mean

had to fap to milf porn after seeing her in those tight jeans

>"David tells me, 'Everything is Twin Peaks. It's all Twin Peaks,'" he says. "These stories continue—that's the whole thing. Everybody kept living and going on and doing their thing. It never stopped. Now we're picking it up again, 25 years later. Who knows if we'll pick them up again down the road, I don't know."

GUYS

MAJOR BRIGGS' FEAR WAS RIGHT

LOVE WAS NOT ENOUGH

They've beaten BOB. But semi-unbeknowsnt to them JUDY is the true archvillain of Twin Peaks and she interferes when Cooper tries to save Laura leading to the other world.

fuuuck

Lunch you madman.
E X I S T E N T I A L I S M 1 0 1

he was sexy af in the original

There's a line between just not wanting to explicitly state something and having an art project full of meaningless scenes. If the ending is indeed "the end", 95% of plots (from all three seasons and the movie) were utterly meaningless, merely filler.
I'm on board with slow, meandering, five minute sweeping the floor or driving in the dark scenes because that's the artistic license one has when they make a story. But when it turned out that 9/10 characters and story arks were utterly irrelevant, that's just bad story telling, not "creative license". Episode 8's 20 minute slo-mo explosion was creative, copping out of over a dozen plot points with "Well, time travel, alternate realities, or dreams means none of those things matter anyway" is not creative.

i don't think i've ever fapped to ANYTHING other than milf porn

Here's your (lynched)

Shes cool.

I suggest to watch her reaction vids...shes comfy and doesnt fake her stuff.

And...shes hot.

Where was she? HOW IS SHE?

This.

I thought he was much shorter than that. Why did he look so short as Booper?

>"Well, time travel, alternate realities, or dreams means none of those things matter anyway"

not what happened

WHAT YEAR IS IT?

Episode 18 confirms he wants to make more in my eyes.

Vlog Lady is cool too

So thicc

Why is it bad storytelling to show characters and give context to the worlds without it ultimately being important to the main plot

She's a tulpa manufactured to bring Cooper into the Black Lodge. You're welcome.

I don’t know if he wants to make more, he just member wants to close it.
