Pretty much. Both Shane and Monty were workaholics in the extreme. They would spend whole weekends alone in the animation department just animating stuff together because that was their jam, but they definitely pushed themselves too far. Burnie and Miles have both commented on that fact and how they want to make sure that no one ends up doing that again with anyone on the team.

It's clear they're going to spend a third of the show playing catch-up on where everyone is, and it'll probably only be by episode 5 or 6 that Tyrian shows up again. I just think they're going to have too many characters sitting around twiddling thumbs and too many new plot threads made.
