>2010 >Silver Age of internet history >Watch stick figure fights at Stickpage dot com and Newgrounds excessively >Forget about them for 7 years >Remember them and look them up for old time's sake >Find this
Holy shit, I thought it would have died out by now, but this is straight up internet /K I N O/
Some more kino from this guy. I think I like his stuff because they're not always edgy and "le so hardcore" like the other animators tend to do. By that, I mean he doesn't jack off his super speeshul OC character as much as everyone else does in his videos. Also, his animating skills are unironically really great.
Leo Lopez
nah, the silver age was probably when the avengers debuted. kind of put a cap on the previous internet age and marked a new start for pop culture. golden age was when obama took a second term. proved whites weren't racist and that we could all live together in harmony.
Lucas Morris
This was also made by the same guy. My favorite one out of all of them, 2bqhwyf.
Golden age was early 2000's-2007, dude. Don't dispute me, this is objective fact.
Logan Mitchell
It will all be lost when Flash dies. Instead we will only keep pixelated youtube videos, all that glorious vector animation gone.
James Moore
Golden age is p. now. Look at all the funny fucking shit on Facebook and tell me these aren't the golden years. Check Twitter and tell me this isn't the golden age.
It unironically was. Golden age was early 2000's to mid 2000's (2006'ish). Everything afterward was when internet "culture" became much more prolific; hence why I call the 2010's part of the Silver Age.
Incredibly bad bait.
Julian Torres
I never actually saw Homestar Runner. Was it as good as everyone else said it was? Or is it all nostalgia and it's not even that good?
Michael Powell
And what was going on during the 90s?
Newgrounds was in serious decline by 2010.
Jack Bell
I miss the era (silver era) when one could post an opinion and not be digestposted at and relegated to bait status just because someone disagreed with your opinion. It was a more honest era, a better age, when human dignity mattered and others would offer you respect.

user I...
>Early 2000's=agricultural revolution >Mid 2000's=feudal age >2010'ish=industrial age >2015'ish=atomic age >Now=Information age (both literally and metaphorically)
Alright, 2010 is pretty late Silver Age of the internet then. It's still the Silver Age.
These are all bree guh. Some of them can be pretty anime-y (H-He's fast! posting, but they do it unironically), but this guy seems to not do that.
Owen Long
>streaming services in decline >more internet monitoring >identity politics >flash games in decline >torrenting becoming less relevant with a suitable alternative >Sup Forums no longer raids >CNN is doxxing trolls >Tumblr >Reddit >women on the internet >virtue signalling >people no longer have interest in learning the tech as long as it "just works" >Vidya games in decline >Movies in decline >Fake news >memes are no longer organic
You can tell this was made in the Silver Age of the internet because of the unironic use of emojis, the unironic use of LOLspeak, and the animation style itself. Still one of my favorite videos.
Connor Myers
Shut up, that's dumb. Internet started declining in quality around 2013-2017. You're probably only 1 or 2 years older than me, you massive fagzor.
Lincoln Miller
Did anyone else use to make animations of stick figures fighting like using pivot?
i used to love that shit. They were pretty good as well from what i remember, i just never had the drive to make anything longer than 30 seconds long.
Also, this one. This one was considered old even back when I was in Middleschool, so yeah. Seems like a lot of people moved on from pivot to actual animation sometime in 2008-2010.
Silver Age is 2015-2016. That's when wikileaks really came into its own and you started seeing truly interesting developments on snapchat and instagram. Golden age is now, when uber is a utility not something novel and men are literally traveling into space on a regular basis!
Caleb Cox
We're talking about internet/digital-media wise, you dingus.
The Golden Age of internet was DEFO early t mid 2000's, when Limewire was a lawless jungle of CP and Eminem midi viruses. When Sup Forums used to raid every Friday and Anonymoose was still actually kind of dark and mysterious. When AOL chatrooms used to be an actual place where real, not-FBI-teens hung out, not just FBI honeypots. Where Neopets reigned supreme and you could find videos of people getting raped and murdered with just one errant click.
THOSE were the golden ages, m'boy. A lawless frontier town, despicable to the human horizon; braved by the hardiest of scum and the foolish at heart. THOSE were the golden ages, my dear, simple user...
>used to browse newgrounds as a kid >accidentally left browser open >dad takes me aside one day >"son... you're sick. it's okay. you can get help." >"whatre you talking about?" >"you left the internet window open. i saw it. the porn." >still confused >"bestiality... cartoons... son, this isn't right." >realize that it was just the banner ads newgrounds had >explain it to him >he doesnt believe me >to this day, some 15+ years later, he still looks at me weird
T-thanks Newgrounds.
Hudson Reed
How can you judge what the golden age was when you weren't alive for a significant portion of the Internet's existence? You don't seem to be objectively judging based on history, you just seem to be spewing out your own memories which you find to be nostalgic. It's really sort of sad. Don't you have any perspective? Are you not able to apply judgment? What's wrong with you and why are you making these sorts of posts?
Michael Lee
Shut up, nerd. He's right.
Nicholas Phillips
that was beautiful
Zachary Martin
Lol I watched this in the student activities council office all the time. I was on the council and could get out of class whenever the fuck I wanted as long as I said it was sac related. This was 2004 so before YouTube and shit. Many laughs were had.
Aaron Collins
Deep down, he just wanted to learn how to dance ;_;
Nyanners was my internet crush a long time ago, and she used to browse Sup Forums quite regularly a long time ago...She's pretty SJW now though, which is quite sad.
I remember I went back on CH's youtube channel for the first time in like 7 years a couple years back to find that Jake and Amir had left That was devastating

It's weird seeing a different collegehumor cast than usual. All of the OGs are gone now except for maybe Murphy. I miss Sarah and Streeter. I realize now just how good was their chemistry.
