I know it's purely anecdotal, but I've been stunned by how centrist my environment seems to be at college. For reference, I go to a large public university (think "University of _______") in a blue state. The College Republicans table was busier than the College Democrats table was. In a poly-sci class, the professor is a self-proclaimed Republican and when he asked for party affiliation of the class, it was about 50/50. A few blue-hairs, but not as many as I expected. There was a girl with a Trump sticker on her laptop. Only a couple Bernie stickers even in the parking lot. In all, it's been very centrist, and I'm pleasantly stunned.
