Cuz Mossad

Probably a combination of being proprietary expeditions with less experience and not having access to NASA's accumulated resources.

This shit happens when you're launching experimental rockets.

Why hasn't NASA done this yet though:

>>space.com/32517-spacex-sticks-rocket-landing-sea-dragon-launch.html

Because profits >>> progress

Who the fuck needs to go to space?

There's no competing markets when it comes to space travel as of now. When companies realize they have to get resources externally then that is when the technology increases.

They don't want us to go to Jupiter that's why.

You say that like NASA has never failed to launch a rocket
youtube.com/watch?v=13qeX98tAS8

Nasa and its predecessor failed much more and killed a lot more people.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle_Columbia_disaster

13 years ago. It isn't a matter of government or private funded. Rocket science is extremely complex, accidents happen.

>Spend money to go to space
>Gain nothing of value
>Business goes bankrupt

Space exploration should not be done by corporations.

private sector space travel is doomed unless the world governments and cabaal's level the playing field with current tech which why the fuck would they do that? They laugh as we strap ourselves to tons of explosives and hope we make it to orbit as they glide around in the latest gravity modification ships.

Gee its almost like ROCKET SCIENCE is extremely complicated.

dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/it-s-not-rocket-science

Rocket science is very very difficult. Ships explode all the fucking time.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle_Columbia_disaster - 7 people dead and only 13 years ago.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle_Challenger_disaster -7 dead,30 years ago.

me to escape niggers

>He doesn't want the Weyland-Yutani megacorp.

Private companies do this for shekels, not for glory.

We need to stop focussing on space exploration and focus on deep sea exploration. After we have conquered our own seas we should focus on space. Also, the technological advances from deep sea exploration will contribute to the space effort.

>why do anything: the post

What's easier to deal with no pressure of space, or pressure of thousands of pounds of water, it's pretty simple why we chose space.

Mah nigga

Niggers can't swim and hate getting their hair wet. However like most monkeys they all want to go to space.

The sea is the answer.

Google Operation Fishbowl. It will really make you think, I guarantee it.

people underestimate the difficulties of space travel. They shoot a bottle rocket or watch an airplane take off and think well it's only slightly more challenging than that.

Yes, and that's why it's time to invest in deep sea. There is discoveries to be made and an abundance of resources to harvest.

It's time for us to be seamen.

>Nasa and its predecessor failed much more and killed a lot more people.
Nasa had like 8 deaths or something total.
And that's after hundreds of manned flights.

You're more likely to die crossing the street.

We live on a planet with limited resources.
Most of those resources end up being abused for frivolous shit. Human population is growing at an alarmingly high pace and the demand for resources is only growing.

We do not need to fear some giant asteroid killing us all.
Colonizing and using resources of other planets is something that we must do sooner rather than later any way to survive as species.

We could just send all water to the Moon on space ships to make exploration of sea easy.

>as they glide around in the latest gravity modification ships.
I'm not sure what governments you think have these but i can assure you neither the US or Russia have this kind of tech.

So private enterprise is better than socialist funded and your point is what?

>Why is the free market so inefficient at space travel?

>Free market sends up satellites and other things that make them money and have been at the forefront of development
>No way to monetize landing on the moon for jack shit

There's your answer, dumbass. Give people an incentive to go to other worlds, they'll find a way to do it. Ain't nobody going to spend billions at this juncture just to see "if they can get to Mars".

space bubbles make space travels a risky business

youtube.com/watch?v=X9-Vroe9G_I

Space is gay

there's no profit, and if there is you'd have to literally be a trillionaire or at least a hundred billionaire to compensate for going back and forth to space, creating and maintaining actual giant space stations that horde your moon or mars refining + the on-planet stations etc. right now space is a government vs government thing, when the US becomes an empire and we finally take space more seriously after earth is a stinky nigger shithole and send civvies casually into space, millionaires as well as billionaires or lucky/skilled entrepreneurs will then be able to treat space travel and activities similar to our market without spending a few billion all the time just to go about, then they'll become even richer and the race to claim monopolies will begin.

>tfw this is at least 200 years away at this rate for it to even begin
>tfw Florida space satellite exploding
we're too incompetent in the 21st century

How does dick of space looks like?

...

There is a simple answer to your question OP. And the answer begins with a question.

Q: What is the goal of a private business?
A: To make profit for its owner and investors

Which leads to a second question

Q: What brings about profit?
A: Providing a good or service for consumers at a price greater then what it cost to create.

Third question

Q: Who are the consumers of space exploration?
A: !!!NOBODY!!!

And that is why Private Enterprise sucks at space exploration. The only major consumer of Space products in the Government. And while there is not a market for orbital satellite stuff, this market only exists due to a massive infusion of government funded R and D infrastructure development.

Beyond boring low orbit utilization, there is no profit horizon. Asteroid mining, while potentially profitable, would not offer a return in enough time to justify the initial cost of entry. The massive capital expenditures required to build the space infrastructure necessary to profit off of space resources.

This incidentally is why every single private corporations effort to Colonize North and South America failed back in the 16th and 17th centuries. The cost of entry was simply too high. The Governments of various European States had to step in and provide enormous amounts of resources in the form of Ships, Soldiers, and paid manpower. In the end it paid off, after a century or too. But a payoff 100 years down the road is useless to a private investor that expects to actually enjoy the profits of his investment in his life time.

And this is why Privately Funded space exploration is misguided OP. Happy to answer your question.

>Large asteroids of heavy metals aren't valuable

>frog
>knowing anything about science
youtube.com/watch?v=VmVxSFnjYCA

Because they don't have Operation Paperclip and Wernher von Braun

>Apollo 1
>Apollo 13
>Challenger
>Columbia

Public and private spaceflight are both capable of making mistakes and both capable of doing great things. Space is wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it's not for the timid. It's risky business.

>t. citizen of a nation that uses Soyuz rockets to transport its astronauts to space

>Facebook
>Nobody

Because humans never went to space in the first place. All these so called "space rocket missions" and "moon landings" has been created in studios or cg to make it seem we went to space. It is all a lie to hide the fact that the earth is flat. It is natural that privately funded corporations will be bad at it since no one still accomplished this feat.

>Q: Who are the consumers of space exploration?

Our descendants and future generations.

>moon landings
>unironically
>2016

more bubbles here
youtube.com/watch?v=r6IZUq6v92I#t=33

What Facebook? Do you think cyberjew want to enslave ayylmaos?

One costs a tiny fraction compared to the other.

Hmmm I wonder which way around it is

Our descendents and future generations aren't paying money to my profit margins right NOW. And I have to answer to my board at the next quarterly earnings meeting. I can't tell them I expect their unborn brats to pay their dead corpses mutual funds a positive return.

There are plenty of private satellites...

...

You are a moron.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutral_Buoyancy_Laboratory

at least thing on left side can fly.

The OP is about space exploration, not orbital flights. And even then the Satellite revolution would have been impossible without huge government investment in researching launching vehicles and building the facilities for manufacturing and launching them.

I cant believe none of you fucks is talking about youtu.be/_BgJEXQkjNQ. Explosion is like 1:10 in.
Happened this morning. Satellite was israeli AND facebook's project

>I can't tell them I expect their unborn brats to pay their dead corpses mutual funds a positive return.

Funny thing is that when your government goes into debt it expects your unborn brat to pay for that debt in the future.

Which is why we have inflation. Over a century Inflation wipes out all debts. A Government that is ostensibly immortal is not bound to the same rules as men who die.

Because when private industry does anything, there is always some manager whose bonus depends on reducing costs. This bonus monster always manages to cut exactly one corner too many. When your business involves big rockets, this can be bad.

But inflation also robs future generations.
It robs everyone that is using the fiat currency except the ones that are "printing" it.

And inflation only cover a small portion of the debt.

Only for small countries like Serbia. In the Imperium Americanus, we issue treasury bonds backed by our fiat currency set to a rate of return based on the Federal Reserves benchmark interest rate.

Presently, at .5%, people are literally paying us to lend our money over a period of 10 years (or more). Spread out over 100 years, the wealth transfer of the people buying US debt wipes out inflation incurred, with interest.

Its actually a very elegant scheme. And people buy into it because, as I have stated, by the time the US Government (which is immortal) realizes its net profit, they are safely dead. Spread out over the decades and centuries, this arrangement is profitable for all concerned. The living get a safe harbor for their wealth in the US Dollar, and the US gets to profit long after they are dead.

Haven't made it worthwhile in prophets yet. Just wait until they're able to mine from asteroids or some shit, then you'll see an explosion in progress via the free market.

You do not get it.

>which is immortal
It took one nigger president 8 years to bring your country into the state that it is now. Just imagine if Hillary wins and is followed by another meme president after.

You fucking idiots ever heard of SpaceX? Fucking shill autists.

Cuz they're not faking it all using cgi and giant water tanks.

Please. Sup Forums has a juvenile view of the American State. It actually thinks the US Presidency matters. The US President is simply the face and transient leader of the Federal Bureaucracy that existed long before Obama, and will exist long after Obama is gone.

The US Government is a massive institution, with a breadth of power and influence that goes way beyond the lifespan of the men who work within it, and occasionally direct its energies.

Be grateful that its largely a force for good in the world. It is after all the sum of its parts, and each individual cog largely believes in the ideals of the American State. But don't ever mistake its sometimes juvenile thrashing as signs of institutional weakness or complacency. The Federal Government is also capable of atavistic levels of violence and exercising of authoritarian power. Just ask Japan/Germany.

Or the US Southern States.

>prophets
Steady on there Mohammed.

Boy; the lied to you. There is no Mars to go to. All of the space travel is a hoax. We live under a dome, the earth us flat and not a spinning ball. Check it for yourself and wake up to the biggest lie the Satanist have put us under. This space travel is only to keep us as sheep paying taxes and been dumbdown. Get out of the matrix Iif deception, your eyes will be opened and yoh will realize all of these are lies. No moon landing. No space station, no satellites orbiting the earth, no aliens that come to earth.

THIS

NASA and other government agencies had decades and the support of millions, the private sector has had a little over a decade and support of a few thousand still interested in space travel.

You and others like you are the reason this world and our species will perish before our prime.

>Who the fuck needs to find India
>Who the fuck needs to find the Americas
You ever consider that space is the next frontier?

I wish I was as blissfully retarded as you are.

Government is the only institution capable of amassing the huge amount of wealth necessary needed to fund such a thing, especially when you consider space travel is not yet profitable.

That being said do take note that it wasn't government who built the spacecraft, it was private entities like Northropp Grumman.

>actually suggesting that governments don't have electrogravitic propulsion running on free vacuum energy
>oblivious that the Unacknowledged Special Access compartmentalized black projects sphere of the US military-industrial-intelligence apparatus has been fielding manned, interstellar vehicles since the fucking 1960s

Are you fucking retarded?

Because the only reason government space travel happens is because individuals aren't given a choice whether to opt out.

Private things have to generate money in a capitalistic society, and space travel doesn't

>virgin written on it
accurate

that's what the jew wants you to think

>Who the fuck needs to find India
Nobody. Going to India was a mistake
>Who the fuck needs to find the Americas
>implying humans can live in space

If god wanted us to go to mars, why did he put us so far away?

F P B P

not me, i'm a flat earther

>If god wanted us to go to mars, why did he put us so far away?
>If God wanted us to find America why did he put us so far away
>If God wanted us to find Japan and China why did he put us so far

You can apply this logic to any era of history where travelling took a long time.

We're making great progress in space exploration.

As usual, religious lot are trying to hold back science.

Oh give it a fucking rest. Your not making an argument.

Post the one with Harambe making the joke about chimneys ffs!

Because there isn't a lot of business reasons to go into space.
