What I love about the United States is that people are so polite. Americans may react differently to Canadians and Mexicans, but they are very friendly to Europeans. I was in Chicago for a student exchange. I got lost in a suburb, it wasn't a good area and I didn't feel so good. I was looking for the bus stop and then I saw a group of gangsters (teenagers) standing in the front door and they saw me too, so I took all my courage and asked them how to get to the bus stop. I couldn't have had a better guide. They were very friendly and worried about me because this was a bad neighborhood for me, they said.
I really don't know where this prejudice comes from that Americans are rude and Canadians are friendly-naive. All the Americans I've met so far have been really nice. All Canadians were assholes - without exception (the worst Canadians were Franco-Canadians tho).

There's not really much difference between states here. Regional differences are more important though ofc not to the level of different euro countries. It's not worth autistically hitting every state but rather enjoying nature and the cool stuff we have.
