The finishing note despite sympathetic 'villains' is that Facism is just authoritarianism tainted by victimhood: Facists blame people and impose authoritarianism as a result, Nazis blamed the Jews for victimizing Germany, etc etc.
An interesting point, but not one that I think invalidates facism or whatever message the film was trying to push for one reason:
Doing nothing about legitimate grievances is worth than all the 'evil' Facism's ever done.

It think the point is, as always, that the threat by Jews, their subversion and damage to the state and people, are entirely made up and used as a catalyst for own failures and short-comings.

Right now we're living in a period where the emerging non-cuck right has based leaders.
Trump and Farage especially are good examples of this. They want self-determination, nation-states, and protectionism that has historically always enabled upward mobility.
That message is still fragile though, and really easy to hijack. If nationalism becomes mainstream and the current order falls, you're going to have a massive ideological vacuum that as yet has no concrete boundaries of heir-apparents.
The reason that authoritarian leftism is even a meme right now is because there's a massive segment of the population that is conditioned to thrive under the naive security of authoritarianism.
Having ackshual freedom and public political differences that don't make those who disagree with you literally Hitler is going to be a yuge culture shock for them, and chances are that many will look for that (((security))) wherever they can.
We have to be real fucking careful for the next few decades.
