What IS this show, anyway?

I only watched for the cute girl

I fucking hate when people post images from obscure-ass shows and ask for everyone's opinion on them, then don't offer any reminders as to what the fuck they are.

Don't fret, user. here's the 1st episode for your pleasure / displeasure

youtube.com/watch?v=4Fj58MNVFjs

Thanks user.

I remember Sup Forums tried to force this show as a competitor to MLP.

Haven't seen it, but it looks much less generic in artstyle than most American cartoons, which all look the same,

wait wait wait, there was a drawfag from an old thread that agreed to draw shit for this weirdass show, did they pull through?

And yeah, it's cute I guess. No substance whatsoever. But GODDAMN if they didn't make Birch too cute for her own damn good.

Are the drawfags from the last thread still around?

Will you guys draw more?

CUTE!!!

ENF is the foundation of ecchi

I hope they do, here's a slightly touched up version from last thread.

enf?

Embarrassed Nude Female apparently

I think it's damn cute

oh, I didn't knew that. It... clears up a few things.

That is even better.

I didn't know I needed this until just now

this one right here

Any drawfriends about to do something of this girl?

I can't tell if the lack of fanart for this show is surprising or deserved

Needs to be angrysex.

Random loli!

I appreciate her for biting this twat.

Kinda cute.

So you just made the thread to get free shit? You could've at least waited more late on the thread to post these. Maybe it wouldn't be so blatant.

I need Birch's outfit

Why were there no girls like this at my schools? Was I too young? There was definitely a hot topic in the mall...

Oh, there are, they just aren't as absolutely QT as Birch usually, and even the ones that are would probably never come into contact with the average NEET from around here because Tumblr meme.

I think I need to become a manga artist

I don't know if OP started the thread for that reason, or to just continue the last thread that bumped off. But it was me who asked for more lewds; I was also the first to ask in that other thread for it too.

dunno if the others post here for some other reason.

I heroically propped up the last thread pretty much by myself with caps and gifs but I'm pretty tapped out right now. I haven't finished going through these Spanish dubbed episodes.

You were too young.

my school had shit loads of girls as cute as those, but alas I was too young as well - plus they were much more respectable (Birch strikes me as the kind of person who is neither smart nor popular).

>Birch strikes me as the kind of person who is neither smart nor popular
She's certainly not smart and the series premise doesn't define the four leads as friends (they seem to hate each other a lot of the time) but we don't see her hanging out with anyone else.

The only person she gets along with OK is Liam and he's her cousin.

The same is true of all the others and it also makes sense; Liam is a weenie, Sandra is a bitch, and Raffi is a stuck-up prat.

how can she wear a collar? is she oblivious as to what sort of message that sends?

In high school, it mostly sends out the message "I'm a faux punk/goth girl, pay attention to me, but do not approach me because I'm extremely antisocial or generally awkward around people".

That, or that she is actually dumb as fuck. We had a couple of both in my school.

Is that really the only message now? When I was a kid (admittedly it was the late 90s and early 2000s) it was just a fashion statement, usually, if you wore black and a collar.

...

I hate when they also use an acronym.

It's the only two I know of and it was true back when I was in school (in the same era, early 90s to mid 00s. Is there some other meaning of it that I'm unaware of?

I've only drawn for one fandom... But she's pretty cute. What can I do for you.

>What can I do for you
Show your work first, is what you can do.

>What can I do for you.

*What can I do for you?

Now I guess people associate it with BDSM, you know, being collared meaning you belong to someone. Some people never take the collar off, if they're super into the lifestyle, or always make sure to at least wear a choker or something in public.

draw her in a similar pose, but with a bashful expression, and her hands behind her back.
Optionally without panties.

Birch suffers breast envy re: Sandra.

That "lifestyle" (if you can even call it that) has never been so popular or common around here that wearing a collar means that you are a sexual deviant.

It's just a fashionable trinket in most places, usually worn by goth/punk girls.

Wow, this episode is brutal. So many fiddly little gifable things.

Why are striped stockings/sleeves so hot?

...

>Birch
>breasts
negro please

She's a teenager. Give it a year or two, she'll grow.

Maybe she can even find a guy to massage them regularly.

this shit looks like a "how to draw anime" book i found i barnes and noble once. the illustrator was white.

>red and yellow stripes
unf

That's deliberate. It was trying to ride the mid-00s weeaboo train but missed it by a mile by taking too long to actually get made.

Holy fuck I was just about to make this observation myself as I was scrolling through the thread

Liam smacked Birch's butt in this episode.

You mean late 90s/early 00s.

Also, as I recall this is a French show, where the weeaboo train dates to the 80s. When Dragonball aired in our country, it was licensed from the French, and a lot of the character names got mangled up because of that (to the better, I'd say - Piccolo became the "Heartless Satan", Piccolo jr. was "Young Satan", and Roshi was "Ingenuous Turtle").

It's Canadian.

I will be on the lookout for that.

This show desperately needed yuri.

What I remember that the show is absolutely awful.

This reminds me, my dream last night actually had Birch in it as my girlfriend. (No lie, that really was my dream last night, even though I hadn't watched "My Life Me" in like 2 months.)

My Life Me aired in 2010. But it reminds me a lot of the culture from the mid-2000's that I experienced in community college (San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton) and the mall across the street.

Birch is basically a high-schooler who loves anime, has a DeviantArt account, has this wild idea I had of becoming a Western manga-ka, And shops at Hot Topic.

Those things were very popular in the mid 2000's, emo/punk/gothy clothes, drawing your own webcomics, wanting to be a Western manga-ka, Hot Topic, and Western-anime fusions. (There were a lot of Western-anime/manga fusions in the mid 2000's, but they kind of died out after that.)

i mean yeah it's not good
but birch is a poorly written yet accurate portrayal of the kind of girls i was attracted to in middle school
and still am attracted to

and that counts more

nah, i'm good

user you card.

Any artists about?

So this was a thing for young adults too? Cause this was my life in High School back in the late 2000s where all the chicks I hung out with or dated were realistic versions of Birch

I was 19 in 2006, when I experienced those things in community college and the mall. (Hot Topic, Weaboos, mall-goths, punk/emo/gothy girls, DeviantArt, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, wanting to be an American manga-ka, reading Ameri-manga.)

So I was basically transitioning between high-school and grown-up life. I was dating a black girl who was a lot like Birch during that time, she was a gothy girl, and we did hang out in Locke Lounge, which is the lounge full of weaboos and Yu-Gi-Oh players in Delta college.

That's why I like Birch so much, because she reminds me of that mid 2000's culture. I really miss that culture, which has been replaced with smart-phones and apps.

Hilarious how the weaboo chick stereotype that used to be a laughingstock has become a quaint nostalgic memory in light of todays world

>I really miss that culture
I know exactly how you feel. I was in middle school when it was around. It reminds me of simpler times.

...

...

You won't get me to watch this garbage. No matter how much you sugarcoat it with cute girls and porn.

You don't watch it for cute girls and porn, you watch it because of how terrible it is and that it reminds you of Middle and High School

I'm not that much of a masochist, user.

For a moment I thought I was on Sup Forums and wondered why people weren't telling you to kill yourself for asking for source.

user you sound like you DON'T enjoy trainwrecks. how much porn would it take?

haha, I don't go to Sup Forums but that is hilarious. does this show just show up there from time to time or is there some small segment that look on this show fondly or is it all just hissing and venom as soon as a screencap of this show appears there?

At least 5 pages on paheal.

>Two candidates who were friends and have done business together
>Male candidate is a immature but charismatic idiot who makes outrageous and impossible-to-keep campaign promises
>Female candidate is an uncharismatic cheater who is afraid of giving interviews, and lies to try and have her opponent disqualified

If Liam had only won, this would've been a spot on representation of Tuesday.

Is that not something cousins normally do?

>Birch's only friend is her cousin who she seemingly has a weird relationship with
Jesus, does she post on Sup Forums too?

Not at all. I just thought I was on my Sup Forums tab because of the thumbnail, it looks kind of anime-ish.

Sup Forums in general doesn't take kindly to people asking for source and requests in general, so when I opened this thread and saw that post asking for source not getting bombarded with shitposts I thought it was kind of strage, took me a while to realize this was neither an anime nor an Sup Forums thread

Boy, I never thought about this but this perfectly echoes the appeal of this show for me. Also Serenity to be quite honest. It really feel nostalgic watching this even though I only saw it for the first time like 3 years ago. It was like being back in high school in 2005. I remember all the manga-inspired Western comics and flash animation back then.
It feels like half of the things I take pleasure in have something to do with trying to recapture a simpler time.

I remember the website for this show is still up and there's a section for fanart and the most popular one is just a picture of fucking Hank Hill

it means you're into BDSM.

Who actually is this guy anyway? I like it

>Spanish dubbed episodes
Where?

Hearing Birch EN ESPANOL will probably be too much for me

i would've been friends with birch in middle school

had i been able to be friends with anyone, that is

Just search "Mi Vida Yo"

What is it about Birch that makes her soooooo cute?

Short hair. She has the perfect length of short hair while her body features show her femininity.

This show can be some mid-tier Flash pseudo anime garbage, but man if that girl isn't adorable.

Can we revive her on another show? ;_;

>>Birch's only friend is her cousin who she seemingly has a weird relationship with
They act like legit siblings; hang out automatically but sometimes throw shit at each other. I can't even fap to the idea of them fucking.

So she's a normal loser who only gets along with her family.

A mid-2000s period piece?

With hilarious jokes like "I'm sure glad the economy is doing so well!"

Isn't it just the perfect length for petting? You could start at the top of her head and slider your hand down to the nape of her neck to the hairtips. Over and over.

How large is your Birch folder?

My new MLM folder is only like 50 images rol

It's increasing as I look through the episodes for Birch being cute or Sandra being an early-bloomer.

>only 50

Birch doesnt deserve to be in a show this terrible desu

I've gained a surprising apprecaition for this show as a authentic depiction of middle-school kids.

It's just that middle-school kids are fucking insufferable.

Draw her in all fours, wearing only her panties, collar, and necklace, getting spanked and moaning in pleasure.

...

>MATHS
Filthy Canucks,

It's accurate, yes, but that's undercut by how poorly written it is.

Still, Birch is cute as fuck so it's all okay.
