What is it about

This

The cover of the book looks awesome. Tell us what is it about OP.

...

>doubel scimitars
>white hair
>cape
>almost like I've seen this character before
>oh wait

Congrats OP, you successfully baited my autism. If you're not trolling though I hope you realize you're reading 'what if drizzt was a girl?' level fan fiction written by some nerdy 'gamer gurl' who probably thought about playing d&d one time.

It's about friendship, overcoming evil, and hard choices.

So EVERY fantasy book ever.

>So EVERY fantasy book ever.
You need to read more fantasy then. I'd recommend the First Law trilogy and subsequent spin-offs by Joe Abercrombie, and the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. These are two characters from the latter.

Redpill the book.

Neal Stephenson anything
>inb4 stormfags argue he isnt redpilled because he isnt a conservacuck

For political understanding:
The Prince - Niccolò Machiavelli
Leviathan - Thomas Hobbes

>female main character
>redpill
lel

Machiavelli is based. Read the Prince this summer

...

AHAHAHAHAHA FAG!
does it come with a tampon too?

Why is everyone here so mean?

...

It is a mens world. If you act like puny cuck you will be send to bottom of hierarchy.

Because all of the fantasy books in the last like 10 years with female main characters are written by sjw scum

Robert Jordan died in For Whom the Bell Tolls......how the fuck is he writing books?

Oh, yea, uh.....spoiler alert or something.

thanks im done with naruto

does anyone know some universal redpilling book about the daily life? lifehacks in book format? dietary tips, psychology information, things everyone should avoid etc. etc.?

Feminist shite

...

The Prince I feel is relatively applicable in all aspects of life. While it is highly celebrated, I think a lot of people really miss out on how based it is because it really is all metaphorical. The same principles can be applied to your personal life and in dealing with individuals. desu none of us will be taking over a city-state in feudal America any time soon unless you're young enough for an underage ban, but the same ideas can be applied to people, especially SJWs who are by nature weak and can only be satisfied by a domineering force telling them how to act. They need to either be destroyed completely or "red pilled" which in Machiavelli's vision would be forced into the truth every step of the way with the threat of destruction no further than an arm's length away at all times. Assimilate to the truth, or die. It is no matter to those of us who already have the truth.

Abercrombie was interesting but his writing is a little light on the details. the pace moves quick but its hard to get a grasp on the context.

i read the first book of one of his trilogies. forget the name of it.

Prolly the blade itself

How does Sup Forums feel about Chronicles of Amber?

The rest of his books are worth reading if you powered through the first. Honestly the spin-offs are better than the actual trilogy.

This is actually an extremely informative redpill on Jews.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Absolutely shameful

This

Holy shit this book description kills the sides

Top kek. Someone took Artemis Entreri's personality and upbringing, stole Drizzt's looks, turned him into a woman, and then turned the whole thing into a romance novel midway through.

Glass place has been done before.

Wheres pol books set for august ?

WUZ

Most books sound awful when you summarize what they're about.

The bell curve.

Just 1/5 of the way through, but I've read the 'criticisms' section on Wikipedia. My favorite critique was by Chomsky who claimed there was no link between genes and intelligence. Also enjoyed all the people saying we need just a few more decades to close the white/black gap in education/IQ..... In 1995.

I very much recommend the book, it's well written and concise.

Kek

GLAZZ

The Malazan books aren't. Nobody has plot armor, shit gets fucked, every book pretty much covers a single military campaign. Deadhouse Gates is fucking amazing, that's the second book. It's about an uprising on a foreign continent and a general and his army escorting forty thousand refugees across said continent to the last known city that hadn't fallen to the rebels. Coltaine's Chain of Dogs. Good stuff. The whole series is about different cultures realizing they don't quite get along with one another and that nothing really ever works out for anyone.

I read it. It is pretty good.

Chomsky is lying. He knows the truth. But if the truth gets out it ruins his little heroic left wing crusader image that he's cultivated so assiduously.

Fuck him.

Yep, you made it sound boring as shit.

>book about escorting refugees across the continent
I can just watch CNN if I wanted to see that

Suit yourself. It's probably the best fantasy series out there since Tolkien. It was written by an anthropologist and the series has layers and layers of the world's history embedded throughout each book, and it's also pretty critical of human behavior in general.

...

I seriously recommend reading "The Bonfire Of The Vanities"

It is one of the most redpilled noveks ever.

The only groups that look good in the book are the Irish and the English. Wolfe essentially shits on everyone else.

Read it.

Best Served Cold was great but everything afterwards has slowly declined in quality. I kinda lost interest in him after I read Red Country and realized he was just going to write the same book over and over again.

Creatures of Light and Darkness and Lord of Light are two of my favorite novels so I figured I should read Amber and expected it to be amazing since everyone likes to pass it off as his greatest work, and it was complete shit in comparison. It felt like lazy fanfic and I'm assuming he died with more Amber books planned because it seemed to end very abruptly. My assumption is that Amber was what he wrote for fun in between serious works like those mentioned above.

On topic, it's harder to find redpills in fantasy novels. Scifi, on the other hand, is generally full of it. It's often not even remotely subtle, with Heinlein and Herbert being good examples.

Sanderson finished the series. Jordan's last 7 or so books of the series were absolute filler and he milked the series mercilessly. Sanderson salvaged it with the final three books though.

You just sound like a boring faggot.

>layers and layers
Where have I heard this before

I've been reading widely lately, trying to expand my ideas.

Recently I've read:

Meditations - Marcus Aurelius
Tao Te Chang - Laozi
Beyond Good and Evil - Nietzsche
Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam - Robert Spencer
1984 - Orwell
Brave New World - Huxley

Also got Children of Men on the list and I'm currently reading the Art of the Deal by Donald Trump, want to see what his books are like before the election.

this is awesome

Sounds blue-pill as the living fuck.

>The magic system is literally nonstop asspulls with no foreshadowing whatsoever
>What the fuck is a Jaghut Tyrant why is this the antagonist of the first book didn't we already have an antagonist where did this shit come from
>Who the shit are any of these people
>What is a warren, seriously please explain this shit to me
>Oh nigger guy has six warrens, but that doesn't mean anything because we still don't know what a warren is
>Nightchill was important? Didn't she die in the first thirty seconds of the first book? Wowwie gee that might've been smart to mention back then huh
>Lorn is pretty cool. Oh hey, she's dead. Killed by a character who is never mentioned again.

Yeah, nah, go fuck yourself. You want good fantasy? Go read The Stormlight Archives. Malazan is garbage, it has no story structure, it never establishes the rules of its magic before applying them, and the entire narrative is disjointed and relies on knowledge that the reader cannot possibly have.

The only good part was Coltaine's Chain of Dogs and the only reason that was good was that it had as little to do with Erickson's retarded worldbuilding as possible. Every time I was reminded that I was reading a fantasy novel it started sucking, the magic is just awful, there's no consistency. Black Company was better.

There's a span between when he wrote the first book and when he resumed and wrote the rest of the series. The style is worse and it's in medias res and doesn't explain anything. If you got through the first it only got better, why'd you stop?

>be a complacent bitch, the book

No thank you senpai.

Ragnar Redbeard over Marcus Aurelius anyday

Agree, Red Country was a letdown

Really enjoyed the rest though

His young adult books are pretty fine too, though predictable once you know his style

As for this thread

The motherfucking Sword of Truth series.

I became a sort-of liberatarian the moment I finished Faith of the Fallen, and an opponent to identity politics when I finished Soul of The Fire

The only faggot who ever did magic right was rothfuss but that might just be because he's the most autistic fantasy writer alive

>While it is highly celebrated, I think a lot of people really miss out on how based it is because it really is all metaphorical.

I think there are people who have mental issues or are generally stupid reading this book and then think they're "red pilled" because they "know how to read it correctly". They then go out and apply what they've learned and it completely backfires on them because they're socially clueless.

>redpilled books thread
>Sup Forums discusses mediocre fantasy novels
>nobody mentions "culture of critique" or even evola
Reddit did take over didn't it.

Sounds pretty good to me. Books where they did their homework are what I prefer.

I read through Deadhouse Gates and half of the one after that before the pattern began emerging and I realized there was no point. When Erickson is on point he's good, but when he's doing what he seems to prefer doing--writing about bridgeburners and introducing huge numbers of new characters who add nothing to the narrative--he sucks.

Also half of the Imperial army is women for no clearly stated reason. That's not even a huge complaint for me but man does it bug me in retrospect. If it had been explained, I could've gone with it. Is the Empire intentionally trying to destroy its own population? Are they intended to act as a colonial force or something? But no, never explained. Why? Oh, no reason.

Nigger should've gotten an editor.

The Way of the Superior Man
-David Deida

Evola's Tiger
-Julius Evola

I know plenty of other works and plethora of book titles to become redpilled.

I know now though it's part of the journey to find out for yourself.

Find books you are interested in and you will go further than anyone else.

One of the few redpilled fantasy books.

...

Pat Rothfuss is also a niggerloving cuck. David Gemmel is top tier. Brandon Sanderson is pretty good if you're into that sort of thing.

John C. Wright is the James Woods of literature. Hard redpill.

Its called ride the tiger, and evola is awhiny defeatist.

The book is really only worth reading for its summary of modern history

Hey I threw out Bonfire, but yes, Evola is essential

This is pretty interesting near-future sci-fi, I came across it just before the brexit vote. Despite the cover the space station stuff only comes in toward the end.

For the most part it's about how globalisation and socialism can lead to a dangerous end. "Basic income" isn't a protection it's a sentence, and with a one world government there are no more wars, only "police actions".

>. Stormlight Archives

Mah nigga

guys is Wheel of Time redpilled

I'm somewhat surprised at this.

If you haven't read these, you are officially a nu-male cuck until you do.

>Moorcock

>tfw hes back on medication and no longer so redpilled

Thank you for your actual input as opposed to this other stupid faggot
and his reddit-tier 'trolling'
Gonna check out Black Company again, I didn't give it a fair chance before

I need a source on the claim of that image.

>David gemmel
F

That's because you're a woman and it isn't emotional and lovey dovey enough for you.

leaf being leaf XD... moorcock is not only one of the greatest dark fantasy authors but he is also influencer of the psychodelic rock of the 70´s, see Hawkwind. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Moorcock

Seveneves is red-pill as fuck.

It's basically about how Hillary is evil, democracy will lead to ruin, and competent people like admirals, entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists should run things.

>The motherfucking Sword of Truth series.

True, I forgot about Faith of the Fallen. Unfortunately, it's not one I can often recommend because while the first three SoT novels are excellent, they really fall off in quality afterwards. I never actually bothered finishing the series and Faith of the Fallen is like 6 books in or something so I wish I could recommend it to people but they have to slog through so much shit to get to it.

Tom Wolfe bashes Chomsky around a bit in his new book -- at least, in the excerpt I read in Harpers (haven't read the book itself)

>redpilled
>strong womyn protagonist

>Gaunt's Ghosts
Mein neger.

Are you kidding? He's the commie shithead who wrote Epic Pooh about Tolkien being a horrible racist imperialist Tory Christian. He also wrote Behold the Man, a time travel book that depicts Jesus as a retarded cripple and Mary as a whore. He's like the proto-China Miéville.

And guess what? He's a Jew as well, because Sup Forums is always right. Redpilled reading he is not.

You know it's possible to be both strong and a woman, right?

>not posting one of the most foundational pieces of litterature about the destruction of the west

No. It teaches you how to deal with people and life's quarrels from a professional/proactive level.

Marcus was not a bitch. He also was into conquest and spreading Roman empire.

If Marcus tells you to walk away from something, you probably should.

but muh tolkien... I´m 100% with moorcock on it, tolkien is for conformist good vs evil cucktholics faggots

That's not Mein Kampf

Great read

Prince of Nothing series is probably most insane and redpilled series out there - it wil change your view on some aspects of life
