Cyborg #5 Storytime

Hey Sup Forums, I heard you like chrome girls.

Mandatory ad.

Neat design, panders to my roboangelknight fetish.

>zone 52

Been looking forward this. Thanks user.

Cyborg's mom, btw.

You're welcome, user. It was nice comic, even if little preachy.

...

I don't really get what is Rhonda doing. Waiting for some customer to hire her only to arrest him?

>that tag

...

Try that excessive force now, cracka.

...

yeah it's a sting, you act as a prostitute and arrest them as soon as they hand over money for sex

WHERE ARE MY CYBORG LIMBS?
Weird way to fight crime.

>Xenephon

I never knew this was a name.

No idea who this bot is, or I missed his name. He does remind me of Bonebreaker from Reavers.

RPG name generators, not even once.

Say goodbye to decent art, we're going to deviant lands.

...

...

...

Yeah, there was like, lung, head and brain left of Victor when he got his treatment.

...

Art is bad.

DUN DUN DUUN

Jesus Christ, what is that?

F

Probably parallel between Scarlet and Elinore.

...

Kek

It's nice to see that Vic actually inspired people.

And Scarlett Taylor. I like that name.

...

Jesus that art change.

Holy shit that art change.

I wish Will Conrad was the main artist on this book. Hopefully he comes back after the Captain Atom mini.

American policing isn't about stopping crime, it's about making sure as many people as possible are sent to jail so the private prison contractors can make lots of money.

Personally I'm against it.

huh, you know I never really thought about the fact that Cyborg is technically disabled.

He'd be ded if he didn't get robo parts. Technically disabled beats practically deceased.

I like they at least threw in a black cop to keep it somewhat even.

But in reality cops will harass people like that in certain places.

I miss the good Cyborg art. That jazz club art was really good.

One of recent comics (maybe even Cyborg?) had black cop harassing black dude.
Ah yes, it was Vigilante.

woah that guy's got a bren ten

thats the most tactical pistol

It's what happens when you get run over by SJWs.

They do the same with cars. Leave out a bait car with open doors and key in the ignition, wait until some poor idiot takes it, then remotely shut down the engine and arrest them.

>Watch_Dogs 3

assuming hiring a hooker is a crime and not an excuse to jail your ass

I'm now remembering that arc about illegal cybernetic implants for the disabled that happened in his DC YOU run.

Bumpo

Jokes aside, I'd play a watch doge game starring Cyborg

>52

also, Nine millimeter carbines with full size platforms in the middle of Baghdad? the artists need a decent weapons expert to correct their shit.

Holy shit what happened to the art fucking hell

Solid issue as always. Cybrog is actually becoming a personal favorite. I just hope they do more stories on transhumanism

I like how threat level is based more on likelihood of starting problems rather than trying to claim they're actually dangerous.

It's like they're mocking Minority Report War

That series was so much better

Good issue

I'm afraid it'd end up as Deus Ex: Booyah Edition.

I can't believe how much much much better this is than the last run. I mean as cringy and dumb some of the shit here are, it's more memorable and entertaining (I mean shit, Kilg%re reciting Shakespeare, the Silver Age Tier Endings and Covers, "Anatomy Lesson", Cyborg's internal crisis is handled much better too). Literally the only thing I can remember from Walker's run was Cyborg's new costume, confirming he still has a dick, him being techno-organic, and a brief appearance of the Metal Men. Even Reis' art couldn't save it. (Also, the Supahotfire reference that was pretty neat.)

>implying that's a bad thing

>Victor, you must choose which city to bomb
>How 'bout I boom this bomb to Apocalypse you cracker

I just wish that Semper Jr. gets someone to help him out to "modernize" some scenes. I don't mind villains MWAHAHAing and heroes acting like they're on Jimmy Olsen's cover, but others do.
Nah, not implying, it'd be awesome.
>skill trees involve sonic weaponry for AoE or lasers for single target
>blending in/dressing up as enemy is done via holograms
>story could still deal with his inner troubles just like it happened with Adam

>This My home, not a cave. Have some fucking manners!

These fucking retro comic endings have been great.

>the guy with the knife is more of a threat than the guys with guns

Why?

Look at the size of fucking thing.

It's about how well you can use it
A missed shot versus a stab to the neck difference I guess.

I'm enjoying this. It's cheesy as hell but it helps separate Cyborg and make him stand out.

...Cyborg Superman?

How does this book manage to address terrorism, urban decay, police brutality, and even robot supremacism without coming off like some SJW screed?

Maybe. He was shown in Cyborg Rebirth, after all.
Nigga knows to write and is probably too old to get his dick hard at hashtags.

>straight razor

Really? That must be an antique!

How long is this going to go on?I wanna see Vic kick bot.

Sid makes robots in the DC universe

Good issue.

Cyborg has been a strong run for the most part.

Shooting guns are Bretty scary

That's a beautiful shot of Vic

I'm enjoying this book for the most part, but it really needs to come out once a month if it wants to avoid looking like this.

It'll be put on monthly schedule, dunno about art.

It's easier to kill someone within close range with a knife and someone who's good with a knife can run up on you before you even realize what's going on, also their less inclined to threaten with the knife and just cut your ass to let you know their serious.

the value of Lineweights ladies and gents.

Isn't he in Supergirl?

Jesus Christ, what happened?

Different artist took over since the usual one is busy

>becomes web comic tier
Aah holy shit. It looks like super early IDW or one of those mini comics you'd get with a DVD but worse. Is the art going back after this issue's done with?

>Bump

So that Xenephon dude is definitely the guy on the cover of #8.

Been really enjoying this. Looking forward to seeing She-Borg next chapter.

bump

...

Good issue.

bump

I'm liking how Semper's trying to give Cyborg a supporting cast

Thank you

No, it was shit.
