This movie was really quite good, but i honestly liked the second one better. It had a lot more bright colors and cartoonish movements that I feel is lacking from 3d films from other studios. Everyone had distinct silhouettes, and they really played around with the lighting to make that happen. I use it as an example of 3d done right, as it still kept that cartoonishness from 2d animation but used 3d for ease of production and to add polish.

i only remember parody of Steve Jobs.

>the sequel wasn't called Pickles to Pittsburgh

It's like they don't deserve to live

hot fudge

Give it some credit, there was an orangutan too

Was ok but the romance felt forced and cringy.

>How to Train Your Dragon sequel isn't called How to Be a Pirate

It was ok, bit I hated the way characters would spaz out because SO WACKY.

The stupid floppy noodle dance the CEO guy in the sequel bugs me for a similar reason

Had some great faces.

Will a Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs thread provide fun discussion on a brillaint Sony Animated film? Or will a internet reviewer in a fedora call it the worst animated film of all time? LETTTT'S FIIIIND OUUUUT!

Sam is cute and perfect

It's a Phil Lord/Chris Miller movie, of course it's good.
Fuck, now I wanna rewatch it.

This is a good listen if you're a fan, they reveal a lot about the problems that occurred while making this movie

>Sam is cute and perfect

Good taste

Damn, this looks sweet, thanks user.

This one has potential.

This was when I stopped watching him.

>guys that did clone high
Instantly trusted it to be decent

This is one of the worst opinions I have ever heard. The second was a flimsy, soulless imitation of the first in every way, but you like it because of distinct character silhouettes?

Is this a meme I'm not aware of?

the second one is ok, but
>ugly rapist orangutan
>food are people too
makes me want to puke

>bright colors and cartoonish movements
>Everyone had distinct silhouettes
>still kept that cartoonishness from 2d animation
Literally all your points are already the first movie, what are you talking about.

Yeah, the first one's style and quirks are the result of geniune personality from the creators. The second one is an emulation
It's not terrible but it lacked wit and the same ingenuity
