We need to remove diversity from the comic book industry now!!!

...

We should start by removing the OP.

Can this be a Matter Eater Lad thread instead?

I'd watch the shit out of that

Go back to your facebook page you cancer

...

What mean by that op?

More of this shit please. It's retarded in the best way.

Remember that time he ate the Miracle Machine?

haw haw

...

We need more diversity. Everyone's always going on about gay human this and black human that. When was the last time you read a comic where one of the characters was a sentient microbe?

>no gf

>can eat pussy like a champ
>no gf

...

Nigga can eat at supersonic speeds.

By the time you know what's up, he's already chewing through your pelvic bone.

Seriously? You would let the guy who can literally eat concrete and steel anywhere near your pussy?

God no. You never know what might happen.
"Unngghh... hello?"
"Ya gotta help me, man, ya gotta help me - "
"Tenzil? Is that you? Hey, calm down, man - "
"I'm freaking out. Oh Jesus. I'm freaking out."
"...Tenzil. If something is the matter, I need you to tell me what is wrong - "
"Querl, you gotta help me, I didn't mean to - "
"...You didn't mean - Oh, no. You ate another one?"

>Parents Living
Part of me wants to imagine that was a stab at all the superhero origins that involve their parents dying.

Read Giffen's 1990s run in Legion of Super-Heroes.

...

...

Legionnaires had a good mix of dead and alive parents, so I think it truly was just informative. That's probably from a who's who at least where they just listed everything.

I just wanna know why, why the fuck would anyone create that shit?

What's the recommend reading for LoSH?

Matter Eater Lad's power really isn't that strange compared to the rest of the Legion of Super Heroes. They're all strange quirky teens in an absurd future that they absurdly take seriously. That's pretty much the premise of the comic, a setting where even the common man was a Silver Age Superman.

...the soccer player?

Because comics used to be fun in the 20th century.

Paul Levitz's runs
Giffen's Five Years Later run
Abnett & Lanning's run
Supergirl and LoSH
Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds

>His "superpower" is a normal trait inherent in all the people of his planet

This is why LoSH comics are such shit.

It'd be like saying an Earthling's superpower is oxygen breathing and blinking.

I'll add:

Johns' Action arc should be read before Lo3W and is arguably better
Supergirl and the LoSH doesn't make sense without the first half of Threeboot and is debatable anyway (beginning of Waid's descent tbqh)

Shooter (silver age) and Bates (bronze age) both noteworthy as well

>year of our lord two thousand and sixteen
>breathing oxygen

You realize that you can say the exact same thing about half of DC's alien characters, including some of the most powerful ones.

It's just the street level hero taken to a scifi extreme. Nothing wrong with that.
