The adaption was decent, not good but decent.
There's no need to, we're living in it.
This too.
Cast Winston Smith
More so with Brave New World.
which one? none were good, even the ones loosely based on it
We're living in Brave new world though, with minor references to 1984 thrown in.
What's wrong with the John Hurt one?

>he doesn't fap to hairy Julia puss every now and then
Are you a homosexual?
idk the John Hurt movie, aesthetically looked exactly like i pictured it in my mind, even down to the the look of the actors. it skips over a lot of things but in a lot of aspects the movie is almost 1:1
No we aren't you larping cunt. When you can come here and say whatever the fuck you want about anyone or have "Literally who" the Jamaican judge block your presidents bills you are not in 1984. Fucking Americans, I swear.
O'Brien

>Almost entirely through luck, Mandella survives four years of military service, while several centuries elapse in real time. He soon becomes the objectively oldest surviving soldier in the war, attaining high rank through seniority rather than ambition, as he is essentially a pacifist who acts mostly from talent and a melancholic sense of duty. He and Potter (who has remained his last link with the Earth of his youth) are eventually given different assignments, meaning that even if they both survive the war they will never see one another again due to time dilation. After briefly contemplating suicide, Mandella assumes the post of commanding officer of a "strike force", commanding soldiers who speak a language largely unrecognizable to him, whose ethnicity is now nearly uniform ('vaguely Polynesian' in appearance) and who are exclusively homosexual. He is disliked by his soldiers because they have to learn 21st century English to communicate with him and other senior staff, and because he is heterosexual.
lol wat, slippery slope the novel
About the movie w/ John Hurt;
Richard Burton is fucking stellar as O'Brien, I mean fuck, the movie is worth watching just for him imho
>1984
Just make an animated movie with animals acting as humans.
Done.
...

tfw Hillary misunderstood 1984 more than Sup Forums ever could
in the end the 1000 war was a giant misunderstanding because of war hungry politicians and generals
Insects.

>unambiguous post
>elaborate
What did he mean by this?
Oh I get what you mean hehe but in the book she comes off as delusional and unhinged enough to think that she would actually believe that.
Do me a favor and learn the difference between roleplaying and live action roleplaying, or kill yourself. Both will do
Yeah, that's what I thought.

The British televised person was pretty good, back in the 50s.

It doesn't matter, 1984 can be interpreted to represent your enemy no matter what side you infant, regardless of the author's intention
I think the movie was passable.
Breakfast of Champions was a disaster though.
Sad but true.

they are making a show about hyperion hope its good.
>Sup Forums
The book wasn't even that good.
It's literally a proto-meme.
...
There was a decent adaptation of it not so long ago.
What is the point of the book? Haven't read it.
A good 1984 film is totally possible. The only reason it would be hard is the fact that most of the book is the main character's thoughts. It would have to be one of those slow art films. With good aesthetics it would be amazing.
Tywin looks too much like a powerful figure imo. O'Brien should be tall and dignified like Dance but with more of a cerebral than assertive aura.
...
that makes it even better
you could could have animal farm the same as the books and then spin off avatar as a dark futuristic sequel ala mistborn/legend of korra
How the fuck did this get past her editor?
>
The book is 90% MUH ROMANCE MUH UNDERAGE PUSS
It's like fucking Fate Stay Night, where everyone pretends it has some deep plot, while most of the story is just shameless porn
