Australia has a population density just 2% of China's. It would only need one which was 14% (162 million souls) to have an economy bigger than China. If it had a population density half as big as China's (73 per sq km, equaling 578 million souls) it would have an economy twice the size of the US.
Obviously mass immigration from non-white countries as a way to increase the population would defeat the purpose. Ideally there shouldn't be any large scale migration from non-Anglo countries which would dilute Australia's heritage.
No, what Aussies need to do is the same as what the last frontier white civilisation, the American pilgrims, did and have around 7 kids per woman. And unlike the pilgrims they no longer need to worry about a quarter of their kids dying before their fifth birthday.
The last two centuries belonged to Anglo superpowers, Britain and America. There's no reason this century can't belong to a third one: Australia.
