He was a mascot

Sonic brought the GSD. He got shit done.

man I totally want to stick my dick in her

Best answer.

Sally Acorn is supposed to be dead, darn it.

Sonic was Kamina.

She was Simon.

Or something in between.

Sonic was the main character of the games while Sally didn't even exist in them. From a marketing standpoint, it would make no sense to not call Sonic the leader even thought the leader is actually the writers' OC (Do Not Steal).

Not like it even mattered though, because like almost every other Sonic cartoon the best characters were the villains.

I don't care whether Sally was the true leader or not, I just want to watch Jim Cummings and Charlie Adler yuck it up

>Jim Cummings and Charlie Adler yuck it up
It was a time to be alive for sure.

1: most successful rebellions require a charismatic leader or figurehead. Sonic fits the bill.
2: If Sally was the leader, they would not be 'Freedom Fighters' they would be Pro-Monarchist Guerillas.
3: Sonic was in the games, Sally wasn't.

Honestly the best thing about that show was Tails was relegated to being a burden just like in the games.
>in before indignant Tails fags

I always wanted her to go barefoot more often than she did.

Pleb fetish I know, but that's understanding when boots were the only clothing she wore.

It's the same deal with Superman and Batman in the Justice League.

Superman's seen as the defacto leader and spoke-person, but Batman's the one doing all the logistics and heavy work.

I don't care whether Sally was the true leader or not, I just want to watch Jim Cummings and Charlie Adler yuck it up
True that.

I still look for Sally fanart every once in a while.

I still wonder how that young drawfag is doing.

I speak of a pic I saw years ago in the fanartist section of one of my old Sonic comics. Featured Sally looking, er, more naked than usual, with very prominent fuzzy breasts and figure, and wearing only her boots. Kinda like this, but sexier. Did it for me like you would not believe.

Don't remember the name of the artist, but I still wonder if he's still drawing. I could swear he was Deviantart before Devi... Hell, before even the Internet was a thing.

Surprisingly huge tits in that show.

CCN?

This
The fac tthat they hid the feet makes them more desirable

There's no reason for the female characters to have chests like this except furry

Damn straight

The was always called the leader in the archie comics, wasn't she?

What's the context for this picture?

she's a woman. nobody listens to women.

I don't ever remember them calling Sonic their leader, especially in the show.

There was an issue of the comic where Sally stripped naked to take a bath in the golden primordial soup.

For the recent trade reprint, they redrew her vest back on which is what's in the background of the image and why the filename is Censored.

That was the case in the show, too. Sonic's always had such a dominant personality and charisma that overshadows her, but Sally's always been the actual designated leader. Sonic just doesn't always listen to her.

No, no, it's like pic. Except that Tails will never, ever amount to anything.

>Tails will never, ever amount to anything.

>Seminaked cartoon animal
>Take her only piece of clothing is too much

It's less about her being naked and more about the way her figure was drawn in this particular issue.

You will never be alpha as me

>people still care about SatAM characters

Can these non-game fags finally stop being the main group in the comics?

Context?

>There was an issue of the comic where Sally stripped naked to take a bath in the golden primordial soup.

How the fuck to go to that from this?

From what I remember, Tails was revealed to be the chosen one for some special kind of destiny that the writers didn't really figure out for a few years, but eventually they just decided it was defeating that elephant guy.

These... These are terrible.

According to who? Penders? Yeah, let's take his word as law.

He's never going to get around to doing his Lara-Su thing, is he?

This was when it was okay for women to be busty.

Not much else going on, I imagine.

Not at the rate he's going, probably not.

>Asking this question when a movie like Sausage Party exists and was commercially successful

Basically, writers who didn't give a shit about source materials and tried to make it into their own little fuzzy critter drama.

Nope. I don't think he's even promoted it in like a year.

Guys, I haven't kept up with the reboot. Is it any good?

I wonder if he actually noticed everyone's lack of interest.

Maybe, though there's never been any great interest in it. Even his own fanbase, which was never huge but shrank drastically after the lawsuit, haven't been terrible excited and have sometimes been openly critical of what he's presented and in the past that didn't discourage him in the least, so I don't know if maybe it somehow finally clicked for him that nobody cares or maybe he still doesn't understand that but isn't working on it for unrelated reasons (such as being really lazy).

Laziness is easier to justify if you tell yourself no one cares about what you're doing anyways. But yeah, I'm sure laziness was a factor.

>Can these non-game fags finally stop being the main group in the comics?

Nope, as their fans are also the ones sufficiently autistic to keep buying the comics well into their 30s and 40s.

Alright, Sup Forums, how do i get into sonic comics?

Start at issue 252. Go back to older issues once you've caught up if you care enough. Also read Sonic Universe starting at issue 55.

Tails had some side adventures of his own, and they culminated into a story where all Tailses from alternate universes merged together to form Titan Tails.

>Moment of glory approaches at long last!

>Every Tails that ever was in the entirety of existence combines to form a roided out version of a regular one

I read about that bit of lore, but I expected it would be given more comic space.

We get to see the alternate Tailses for a bit more than just that one panel.
Judging by their looks, there seem to be some absolutely ridiculous alternate universes in existence.

Of all the characters introduced in Satam Bunnie is my favorite character... shame that I'm the only one who likes her

>I am the only one who likes X, how sad. ;___;

That is attention whoring and you know it.

I don't care, but she's got great porn of her.

...

...

Why? Getting into water with your clothes on is an odditity. Nothing wrong with a nude Sally about to bathe.

What happened to ChadTheCartoonNut anyway? I remember I used to watch his art account on dA, but one day he took down everything and vanished without a trace.

...

Nigga I don't want to read about characters that are shitty in their own games and can never be developed into less shitty characters

>the tactician must be the leader
alright

Even in a natural forest tree town, there's still a glass ceiling.

"I didn't start from issue 160": the post.

...

Sonic was a narcissistic idiot, but they needed his speed, so they called him the leader to keep him happy.

>One of them is Tails Gets Trolled universe.

>Emo Fringe Tails tries to hog the camera
>he knows he can't compete with Clown Tails, Ripped Tails, and Maternity Leave Tails

...

Wrong gif there

Because this show was fucking awful.

Seriously, I will never understand how anyone who didn't grow up with it can defend this tripe. At least some of the early comics are whimsy, lovable stories, but dear GOD is this show bland and shitty.

>>Freedom Fighters called Sonic their leader
Wrong. Sally was their leader.

Sonic was just their best soldier.

He is explicitly called their leader a couple times, even though he only ever does what Sally tells him to do.

>I started in the middle of a story arc transition where none of the game characters were relevant.
Yeah nigga you sure sound well read.

Wait, there's a fucking universe where all of the Sonic Characters are Care Bear rejects...? Is it wrong that I want to see Sonic and company defeat robotnik by making him taste the montherfucking rainbow.

Honestly you might as well just watch MLP if that's what you're into. Rainbow laser annihilation is a pretty common thing there.

Now, all i'm hearing is this: youtube.com/watch?v=nxNyoAMqRXQ

How do you get this from the first few games?

You know, I'm surprised someone hasn't created a better custom figure or 3D-printed model, at this point.

I really love how I am suddenly seeing El Chavo and El Chapulin posted pretty frequently.

>take a game with almost no supporting cast
>try to write some big sci-fi drama around it
Of course it's going to be populated with OCs. Honestly, your question only makes sense if you consider the late games, where there's an actual cast to work with.

You mean Sally? She is the squirrel character in the first couple of games. One of the little animals that Sonic rescues from inside robots and capsules. You think being one of many would make it not an individual, but in this case it is. All of the freedom fighters are based on the animal friends from one and two. Like the walrus.

Actually, I guess they have: mantti.deviantart.com/art/Sally-360-285725272

Yeah, its almost like they had no idea what a Sonic show should be like or something.

Can anyone answer why there were two different Sonic the Hedgehog TV shows at the same time with such wildly different styles? And yet Jalel White did the lead for both?

ABC thought the Adventures cartoon was too stupid and force them to make something else.

They made one (the more cartoony one) and then ABC said "no, we need something else" so they made the more serious one. The second one was the one ABC purchased and aired on their Saturday morning lineup, and since several episodes of the goofier one had already been produced, those episodes were sold into syndication.

Here's a comparison picture.

to be fair, it felt weird.

It's not like adding the vest really changes how her figure is presented since it's hugging her body pretty snugly

I'm honestly more upset about how they over-saturated the colors in the reprint. I liked the subtle colors of the original.

Because Snively is not alone.

>tfw season 3 never

good. They would have fucked it.

When I first heard about Titan Tails, I was extremely disappointed that he came out looking like that instead of being ridiculously ripped.

They can't just redraw it, and it normalizes things...slightly.

Nnnnnnot quite. See, in Sonic 1 you may recall the tiny animals that popped out of Badniks - walruses, bunnies, squirrels, and so on. These were given cutesy names in Japan (Pocky, Rocky Ricky, etc), but Sega of America renamed them for The Sonic Bible, a series bible for Sonic's lore outside of Japan. Yes, really.

Anywho, the squirrel, who was called Ricky in Japan, was made female in the first draft of the series bible, and in the second draft was renamed... you guessed it, Sally Acorn. In the US canon, she helped raised Sonic when he was a young orphan and taught him how to jump long distances. Apparently, DiC decided to go with the idea, but renamed the rabbit and walrus from Johnny Lightfoot and Joe Sushi into Bunnie Rabbot and Rotor.

So, there you have it: the characters from SatAM Sonic were in the original games. Kind of.
>You think being one of many would make it not an individual, but in this case it is.
According to The Sonic Bible, each of Sonic's friends"comes from a large family", which I guess sidesteps that whole mess.

Nigga's whipped
