First Family makes no sense story-wise though. They're just referred to as such by US. In-world they are not a "first family".
You could even say "Fantastic Powers" since Morrison's doesn't end with Superman as Superman. It is quite literally just the origin, nothing more. Saying "First Family" leaves the reader with the team already established and therefore tells more than just the origin.

I guess, though I think the family aspect is the most important part of the FF, so I wanted to work it in some way. What about New Family instead?
Jackson Cook
My take would be:
>Shy Youth >Fated Bite >Tragic Death >Great Responsibility
Adrian Reed
Big Guy Flight Plan Crashed Plane No Survivors
Julian Butler
Nice, I like that a lot better than mine.
Hunter Foster
>Shy I'm tired of this meme
Gavin Collins
>Troubled Youth >Spider Bite >Great Power >Great Responsibility
Parker Carter
How would you describe his passive aggressive inner monologue that didn't come to the surface? Yeah sure he badmouths everyone in his mind but is too shy to say anything.
Thanks though "Tragic Death" is kind of bad. Back in journalism school they said "Never say tragic death. Everyone knows a death is tragic ffs".

I actually like this one not counting "Spider Bite".
Panels could be Peter skulking away from his peers, the Great Power panel could be the Spider Bite and the Great Responsibility could be Peter kneeling Ben's corpse.
Owen Mitchell

This is definitive proof of Jungian archetypes being apart of our collective subconscious.

Great Power should be him putting on a show for cash.

GL could be:
>Cocky Pilot >Dying Alien >Magic Ring >Green Lantern
Jayden Adams
Jimmy Neutron?
Lincoln Powell
>Someone shy >Asking out a girl multiple times I wish I was as shy as Peter >How would you describe his passive aggressive inner monologue that didn't come to the surface? Not wanting unnecessary trouble
Robert Peterson
'First family' needs context to work - you need to know about both the stories and real world circumstances. The beauty of this exersice is for it to be understandae without either. Notice that Morrison didn't use >Krypton >Jor-El >Kal-El >the Kents For the same rasin.
Nathan Cox
Big guy For you Crashing plane Gotham burns
Nicholas Robinson
>Orphaned child >Strange abilities >Wise mentor >New family
My take for Cyclops (the accompanying panels would be: plane crash-first time he shot beams out of his eyes-Xavier arriving at the orphanage-group shot of the O5). Only issue is that it might be TOO generic, even for the exercise.
Alternatively, the 2016 meme version, in the vein of Nextwave or Zdarsky:
>Badass hero >Mutant leader >Fuck Beast >Always right
Camden Morales
I'd prefer >Brash pilot >Dying alien >Green Lantern (shot of the ring itself) >Brightest Day (Hal in GL uniform)
Angel Long
>mad warlock >demonic summoning >happy accident >Ol' Broom I don't know how to describe the luck of Hellboy appearing somewhere else than expected.
Michael Bennett
>Brightest day (shot of Hal as a pilot) >Blackest night (Abin Sur giving Hal the ring) >No evil (Hal and the other Lanterns on Oa) >Escaping sight (Hal fighting Sinestro) There ya go.
Hunter Cooper
>Wonder Woman
