Did nothing wrong? Batty boy? Oh he did wrong alright. He should have had spartacus crucified as soon as he had suspicions about him learning the truth.

>He killed Spartacus's wife
>He had spartacus' friend killed
>this is how spartacus learned of his wifes murder.
>he didn't kill spartacus's wifes murderer.
>he let himself be cucked by crixus

he did plenty wrong and thats what makes him an interesting character you mongoloid

Literally unironically did nothing wrong

>Once again

You're allowed to kill your slaves, they're your property in roman law. Him killing his rivals could be considered wrong however they did shit on him alot.

>fucked slaves in front of his wife
>let lucretia do it too

He knew what was going on and stopped it when he felt it went too far.

This guy did nothing wrong, prove me.

They liked fucking their slaves, I wouldn't call it cucking. He was doing it infront of her almost every episode.

who?

I think it's that drug boss from Breaking Bad

Gustavo fring.

>show seems good
>actor of main character fucking dies
j u s t

>batiatus did nothing wrong

I'm still upset about this. Blood and sand was amazing (after the first 4 shitty eps atleast..) then andy got sick, so they made a prequel waiting for him to recover, and that prequel was amazing, and.... he didn't recover. So season 2 feels shit to me. It could have been amazing too with andy. Fuck.

/ourguy/

This nigga went out like a champ

...

...

Honestly what did he do wrong? The worst he did was threaten to kill Walt's daughter

Sand and Blood is kino

>is believed to be a murdering scumbag who killed a magistrate
>champ

Sell a shitty drug killing hundreds and ruining thousands of lives? Employing kids to sell drugs?

AHHH GOOD SOLONIUS

spartacus is a guilty pleasure of mine

DUDE METH LMAO!!

>drug lord
>nothing wrong

Wait why is spartacus a guilty pleasure? It's legit a great show past the first 3 cringe episodes

This. Once they stop trying to be a cheap 300 and Spartacus goes to the underground fighting pit it becomes good. Pic related is when it becomes GOAT.

He didn't put Asher down like the ugly brown dog that he is.

Asher did nothing wrong. Crixus was a dirty fucking rat that attacked his own.

Fucking Illythia destroying the bromance of the ages.

hm because ive been called gay before for liking it. scenes like this dont help youtube.com/watch?v=BZRv-g24B_Y

Afew episodes before that it becomes GOAT I think. I think it's episode 6... maybe 7, I forget, but you can definitely tell something has changed. The director? Budget? Because the transitions are alot better, camera angles better and just the script about plotting, scheming moves forward. It fully became it's own thing at that point.

It aint gay if its with your bros.

>Lived an honest life but got caught up in debt
>Only wanted to get the money and go to vegas with his hot gf
>Attempts to bond with an autistic kid
>Said kid fucks everything up fucking his life over

>cancelled Netflix because of jewish tricks and removing Fraiser
>last show I'll watch is Spartacus in it's entirety
Its a good way to go.

>spartacus
>gay
what?

Is pic from gods of the arena when gay barca sees his boyfriend die? lol

Yes.

Its plenty gay but there is nothing wrong with that.

best bros

Then why didn't he cut down batiatus and everyone else right then and there? Save varro and escape?

best spearman in all capua

How about a (((hero))) who was actually the villain the entire time?

A lot of people like the show but feel insecure about liking it due to all the nudity, cursing, and bloody violence in every single episode so they call it a guilty pleasure as a shield from other people telling them it's basically porn: the show.

Truth is that it's a legitimately good show, great at times, that gets overlooked because of the surface-level criticisms of it being just violence and porn. It doesn't help that there's a large portion of people who watched it solely for those base attributes. The strongest parts of the show are the characters and acting, without which people wouldn't care about the sex and violence.

Because if they didn't succeed they'd both end up dead with no one to look after Varro's wife and child. Also, Varro really made the choice for both of them by grabbing the sword and driving it down into him.

there were dozens of guards surrounding him and they were just 2 guys

How was Ramza the bad goy?

he just wanted to eat fish, get high off Ring, and do cool disappearing party tricks. Truly a tragic character

>...and shall join you presently.

BASED

Selonious's reaction to that line was great. He knew Batiatus would finally get his comeuppance.

Watched and liked the first season as it aired. Haven't gotten around to the rest yet...

He's not even a villain, he's just a sad character

Definitely at the very least watch gods of the arena. It's set like 2 or maybe 3 years before blood and sand. More batiatus. Crixus gets bought at a slave auction and you see him climb the ranks. Onemaeus is just a simple gladiator before he became the doctore, batiatus is even lower and gets shit on by his dad, ashur there as a gladiator. It's great stuff.

kek, was waiting for that

Sounds pretty good, thanks.

...

Why did they remove fraiser?

Dont forget batiatus is best buddies with solonius and you see why they became rivals, it's basically the origin story of every character from blood and sand, save ilithyia/glaber and other minor romans.

PoC can't relate to Frasier.

This. Unlike me & you, amirite

kek

COCK IN ASS

But Fraiser is for everybody. Fraiser is a cold rainy day while being warm in bed.

This. Spartacus is a patrician show in every sense of the word. Plebs are too pretentious and turn their nose towards it in favour of inferior shows like Rome because it makes them feel more intellectual. True patricians enjoy blood and sex along side the drama. Pathos is what drives Spartacus, which puts it above the dry trash that plebians like to pretend is patrician.

I'm non-white and love Fraiser. Its not like the average white person can relate to being a millionaire radio celebrity socialite that bangs super models and whinges whenever he hasn't had sex in 2 months.

>non-white disregards logos
typical

>pleb thinks pathos isn't superior to logos
>pleb thinks that Spartacus doesn't have both
You're just proving that plebs would rather seem smart than actually be smart. That is why a pleb can never be a patrician.

Sheesh, wasn't being serious lads. After all, I watch and relate to Wesley Snipes in Blade.

>what is will power

at least he was selling the purest shit he could get

Its just bantz, pussy.

Meth doesn't even work that way.

He just wanted his house to rise they were dirt poor and he wanted to get out of his father's fsggotry.

>be australian
>buy a bunch of meth from local pharmacist
>punch a kangaroo on my way to meat store
>buy a shitload of meat and shrimps for the bbq later
>watch some breaking bad waiting until guests come over for bbq
>do a shitload of meth i bought legally
>hank scene comes on screaming about busting people in jail for meth
>mfw

yea theres a difference to carrying a full on affair with a champion gladiator and trying to have his child when OOOPS Its her who is barren, not the husband.

also the fact crixus was into naevia and if you would have just let them be together, he wouldn't have joined spartacus last minute hatefucked everyone to death

batiatus let the women ruin everything he accomplished.

>Crixus put a baby in me even though im the one thats barren.
>dont tell batiatus
>tries to lie when confronted by batiatus only to get btfo

yea she was cucking pretty hard, at least batiatus shared slaves with her, and his father told him he could do better.

>...and shall join you presently

whyd they give him that voice.
qorst thing in the show, and

the major should have died season one, but he has great acting variation, and he did nothing wrong. All three men chasing a woman who was cucking her husband fighting a war.

...

The primus battle royale in the finale is by far the best fight of the series.

Batiatus was sloppy about the whole "killed spartacus wife" thing. He left witnesses and evidence behind. That's the only thing that fucked him in the grand scheme of things.

His dealings with the rest of the Romans was excellent. Many times he made poor decisions because of insufficient information and got fucked by it, but he fucked them back so hard it's not even funny.

best season imo, also the reason gannicus should have lived

He should have had dealings with the carriage driver outside of the ludus, NOT LET HIM GET HEALED BY THE MEDICUS RIGHT NEXT TO SPARTACUS, and all would be fine. dumb batty.

So? Who gives a fuck what those people relate to? I don't.

Batiatus didn't know about that. It was Ashur who told him to go to the medicus after that Roman magistrate bit his neck.

But before that batiatus let that guy eat grapes and get smothered by his lady slaves as a treat at the ludus. Spartacus even saw him. Batiatus should have left that loose end outside the ludus and dealt with him outside only.

>roman political intrigue and maneuvering
>meritocratic brotherhood of gladiator men based on respect and achievement
>wars of rome and gladiator matches
>historical context, based on the true slave rebellion
>sex galore, hot men fucking hot women literally every single fucking episode
>fuck-bombs, cunt-bombs everywhere because fuck your sensibilities
>badass soundtrack

This is the manliest, most testosterone-rich series I've ever watched. It's fucking 10/10.

People who are offended should go back to Grey's Anatomy. Don't insult this achievement by calling it a "guilty pleasure", it deserves to be enjoyed by all.

>sex galore, hot men fucking hot women literally every single fucking episode
I don't want this in a television program, I'm interested in ancient Rome and Greece, but I just don't want this. I'm not going back to Grey's Anatomy. Fuck you. Fight me in real life. I'll decapitate you.

only thing I can't stand in Spartacus (which I love btw) is the portrayal of Caesar...

How did we go from this:

>"The light was still gray and uncertain, as Cæsar and his retinue rode down upon the banks of the fatal river—to cross which with arms in his hands, since the further bank lay within the territory of the Republic, ipso facto proclaimed any Roman a rebel and a traitor. No man, the firmest or the most obtuse, could be otherwise than deeply agitated, when looking down upon this little brook—so insignificant in itself, but invested by law with a sanctity so awful, and so dire a consecration. The whole course of future history, and the fate of every nation, would necessarily be determined by the irretrievable act of the next half hour."

to getting raped in the ass

>mfw I found out that Spartacus really did rappel his men off of Vesuvius on vines and it wasn't just a dumb action scene added on for the sake of the show

the friend scene was so heart breaking

ONCE AGAIN THE GODS

this is now a Caesar thread

>"The foremost man of all this world?" And, in this fine and Cæsarean line, "this world" is to be understood not of the order of co-existences merely, but also of the order of successions; he was the foremost man not only of his contemporaries, but also of men generally—of all that ever should come after him, or should sit on thrones under the denominations of Czars, Kesars, or Cæsars of the Bosphorus and the Danube; of all in every age that should inherit his supremacy of mind, or should subject to themselves the generations of ordinary men by qualities analogous to his.

Caesar was based in the show. His portrayal was spot on. Him getting raped was out of his control and he would have gotten his revenge had Kore not been a bitch and beaten him to the punch.
>that look on Caesar's face when he gets custody of Tiberius and gives him a "i'm going to rape you all the way back to camp" look
Perfect. Also, this scene which got Sup Forums's livestream to almost crash in cries of joy.
Spoken like a true pleb. Go watch a documentary.

>blonde

He had black hair, that made me furious that they portrayed him as blonde

>I don't want sex in a show about ancient Rome
What the fuck do you think Romans did, you mongochongo? Even I, Claudius has sex scenes because you can not talk about Rome without talking about their sex habits.

>get responded to in a digestpost
Yeah, OK.

They probably shitted and farted a lot too. Probably at least five to ten percent of the time. They also slept a lot. Let's portray all bodily functions because lol that's what people do! Where's the constant menstruation scenes?

What?

Ah true, he did get careless with that. But I can excuse it by saying what are the chances that Spartacus would ever see that guy's bare chest and think to ask about his scars? Still, he could've taken more precautions about such a chance meeting happening.

Also, it kind of goes along with his character arc. He spends the whole season plotting and scheming the higher tier Romans and he beats them all because they underestimate/overlook him due to his less respectable position in society. Then Batiatus doesn't learn from them because he does the same thing with Spartacus who is a slave and therefore beneath him in his eyes.

Sex is part of Rome and Greece you uncultured swine. It has way more impact in the relations between characters than sex has in modern times. It's pretty much a plot point how they motivate gladiators with limitless orgies as reward. It's used to great dramatic effect when Spartacus fucks Glaber's whore wife without knowing and then almost kills her when he finds out. Sex permeates every fiber of this show and it is much richer for it.

Off to Fox Life with you, prude. Setup an appointment with an endocrinologist so he can figure out why your testosterone is so low.

Even documentaries have nudity -- because it's science, not some tantalizing bullshit. Complaining moralfags are the reason why people pixelate nipples on documentatries as well. It's a sign of mental retardation.
