Why didn't he just keep rewinding time to back before his car accident?

why didn't he just keep rewinding time to back before his car accident?

then he wouldn't have a reason to become a magician rite lol

he would retain his memories though, and plus he would have his hands back

Did you even watched the movie?
>The Ancient One: Constantly. He had a choice, to return to his own life or to serve something greater than himself.
>Dr. Stephen Strange: So I could have my hands back again. My old life?
>The Ancient One: You could and the world would be all the lesser for it.

Basically we could, but that meant the world would lose the greatest wizard, so Strabge made his choice.

He can't do both?

Just go back in time and prevent the accident from occurring, he doesn't have to give up being a magician.

Heck he could do both, be a surgeon and a magician.

Could he reverse time to when he didnt have the amulet?

unironically the best marvel film so far

What would that do? Dormammu would still destroy Earth in the following months

They have an entire scene dedicated to this question while the Ancient One is dying, user

antman is better, dr strange is #2 imo

>wizard
Sorcerer Supreme you fucking pleb.

No?

>go back in time to before accident
>go kill the cult leader dude, return the page to le ancient one

wow so hard

>kill a crazy wizard guy as a mortal
>wow so hard
it would be actually

he keeps his memories dumbass.

DORMAMMU I'VE COME TO MEME

It would probably end creating a paradox, similar to how if you went back in time to kill yourself would create a paradox

Cap did that shit without magic twice.

Because that ruins Strange's character arc

i didn't believe strange's character development at all. went from dick doctor to noble wizard via a fight with a bad wizard.

also, the powers came too easy for him.

good film though, pleasantly surprised by it. stronger MCU film for sure.

the film was basically "what are the craziest effects we can do"

This is my only problem with the film.
He literally went from disabled, to super epic wizard in the space of like 2 things happening inbetween.

there was a significant time lapse you mongoloids

yeah they should have made the time lapse more apparent.

I disagree. I actually felt his character arc was well done. You see his growth while he's talking to The ancient One's astral form, and his arc completes when he willingly dies endlessly to save Earth against Dormammu. He literally wins by losing, which is the complete opposite of his character before the crash

Because magic is more awesome than money.

Dr. Strange > Winter Soldier ≥ Iron Man > Ant-Man > whatever

GOTG2 > Everything else you just said in that order

Then you're right

I haven't seen that one so I can't object. Didn't care for the first GOTG too much. Kurt Russell's involvement alone makes me want to watch the second one, though.

Because then nobody would save the world and he would end up dead. What the fuck are you dumb?

GotG = IM1 > Winter Soldier > Dr Strange > Every othe MCU except Thor > Thor flicks

weren't his hands fine anyway by the end of the film?

How does Doormamu have a physical form if the world he lives in has no time? How did he move or speak or do anything? Kinematic physics require time for most equations to work.

Nope
