La La Land

You know it's true.

fuck you

...

every musical
they are literally all shit and only for people who don't like music that much

>Xe watches musicals for the music
O I LAFF

We can agree to disagree

No normal person "likes music that much". It's something that you use for background noise or to complement another piece of art, not a worthwhile artform in itself.

the fuck u just say

robin and the 7 hoods
it only has GREAT songs

>Implying One Last Time isn't musicalkino

>he thinks his shitty ITAOTS is better than the musical genius of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II

I was going to say this one, but it's actually better than I remembered.

If we're going to musical episodes of tv shows I can think of far worse ones.

I hate the WE WUZ FOUNDING FATHERS shit, but come on, these songs are pretty good.

Who's the chick at the bottom?

I stopped watching Psych before the last season. No real reason for it, I just stopped. Always wondered what this musical episode was like.

Romberg and Hammerstein >>>>> Rodgers and Hammerstein

The last season wasn't bad overall, but the musical episode was.

The music was perfect for the movie tho. Good music wouldn't have fit with the horrible acting and dialog.

Just some nobody

The star of the movie.

...

yeah you're right I don't suck cocks

Bullshit

>It's supposed to be shit

Chicago was garbage as far as I can remember. I love old musicals though.

Frozen

Every song sounded the same it bothered the hell out of me

Rent

>ogre

What the fuck

Congrats, you got a starring role!

...

Literally incorrect from the very first song

There are no good musicals. They're all gay

All That Jazz is a great song

Yeah I bet you think you're real fucking funny. We'll see how much your laughing when the barrel of my beretta is in your face.

I honestly can't think of a song that can qualify as "bad".

Anne Frank musical set to ITAOTS fucking when?

>Mr Cellophane
>garbage
>Roxie
>garbage
>All I Care About
>garbage
>We Both Reached For the Gun
>garbage
I will admit that the rest are pretty try hard

Mamma Mia

it's not try hard it's nice

Imo Chicago is pretty good. If you prefer old ones try the Berlin Operettas that Chicago and Cabaret were inspired by.

Mark It Up, Let the Monster Rise, and Chase the Morning are all great, you fucking wretch.

Well no, every song, actor, line, and set piece in that was awful.

I've never seen the stage play, but I just remember really hating Chicago when it came out in movie theaters. I really like the old Rogers and Hammerstein musicals, Singin' in the Rain, Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, and other musicals like that. I didn't find Chicago that compelling in its music or story.

...

>heheh this'll get some replies I bet

You did it

...

This bothers me too. There should have been no way to fuck this up, but it's like they didn't even try. "I heard it both ways" is the closest they even get to a complete song.

...

Saw this on broadway, waste of time. Cool to see spidey swinging around and shooting webs though.

>implying A FREAK LIKE ME NEEDS COMPANY isn't memekino

...

Kill yourself

>implying Goodman singing People Like Us isn't great

ive never seen a stupider fucking opinion, dream operator is one of the best songs ever made

>not liking ABBA

What are some musicals with no bad songs?

staahp

I still want a better copy of it but this is the only serious answer in this thread

unironically Phantom of the Opera

Rent

hurt to be that wrong?

GOTH OPERA; BLOOD SAGA

Pure injurykino

>tfw mom used to play her soundtrack of it all the time in the car
I love the later bits when the songs get faster and intense.

My Fair Lady is arguably the only correct answer.

Guys & Dolls

t. did it in high school
