Why is every fucking line in this movie so quotable and hilarious?

Why is every fucking line in this movie so quotable and hilarious?

>eating pineapple

Because it's a true classic

>I'll only tell you one time
>Don't fuck me Tony
>I've seen you staring at my ass you fucking faggot
>Don't you ever try to fuck me!

>you'll never save Tony from being killed
>the video game has Tony escape and kill Gaspar Gomez, Nacho, Diaz brothers, and Sosa

Because it's an Oliver Stone screenplay

SAY HELLO TO MY PELICAN!

Everything up until Tony meets Sosa then kills Frank is perfect imo. Tony got too full of himself after Frank died and it almost feels forced because Tony has a level head until he doesn't kill the senator.

Sup Forums would you kill the kids and his wife or not?

No.

It was meant to show tony still has some morals.

First time I saw this, I talked with a Cuban accent for a month.

nah

Tony's mistake was killing Manolo

>Sup Forums would you kill the kids and his wife or not?
No shit. Not doing so would mean getting killed yourself just like Tony did. Fuck dying for 3 people you don't even know.

Me too. I walked around my junior high pretending I was on my cell phone ordering people around with a Cuban accent.

That's true too but Manolo couldn't have done shit about the hit squad and Mr.Skull coming for him. If he didn't kill Manny he wouldn't have known about the first assassin that snuck up on the balcony without Gina shooting at him.

Who was he supposed to be?

so im watching the movie for the first time, is there supposed to be subtitles for when they are speaking in w/e with the columbians and shit and just random stuff in passing?

No, it's supposed to be that way.

>watching Scarface for the first time

Fucking how? What rock you been hiding under?

haven't seen godfather or goodfella's either, I knew they would be movies I'd love and obviously hanging out with chads means these movies were quoted non stop, but I have no idea, just didn't feel like watching them.

Jiminy Glick

Godfather's overrated but you'll like Goodfellas, It's the pinnacle of crime dramas. Also check out Donnie Brasco, It's also better than Godfather.

CHICHI GET THA YEYO

The pinnacle of dramas is Casino you pleb, Goodfellas is lel tier

Donnie Brasco is unironically better than Goodfellas imo desu

It ain't going to be cinematic

Donnie Brasco is the most underrated mob movie for sure.

Goodfellas is great but I still don't like that ending despite the fact that's how it happened. Is there still a contract out on Henry Hill and would anyone even pay since most of those guys are dead?

>Donnie Brasco
trailer looks pretty decent, looking forward to some retro non drugged up can kinda act agan depp and pacino always creates gold

>Casino
>Goodfellas
Literally the same movie.

I rate Donnie Brasco as one of Pacino's best performances

Is Pacino overacting in this or did Tony Montana the character need to be played like this?

I don't think Tony expected to die from that, he truly thought that he could make a deal with Sosa to kill that senator afterwards. But the problem was that Tony got all uppity on Sosa during the phone call and I think that pissed Sosa off because not only did he fuck up the job, but he acted all high and mighty to top it off.

During the phone call Sosa was extremely calm at first, asking Tony as a friend what happened, but when Tony started yelling and excusing himself instead of apologizing, I think that's when Sosa got pissed off and decided to kill him off. And it was probably the coke he was snorting 24/7 that made Tony that fucking confident.

No, actually Tony was ready for war after he got the message from that phone call Sosa gave him, but he was coked out of his mind to care because he was grieving for his best friend that he just killed. Manny was the one that was keeping Tony sane and without him everything fell apart.

THIS TOWN IS LIKE A GREAT BIG CHICKEN

JUST WAITING TO BE PLUCKED

Best crime novels to read? Here is my short list

Murder Machine
Wiseguy
The Iceman
Donnie Brasco

Donnie Brasco is an amazing read. I think Depp was miscast, but they had to do it.

DONT YOU EVER TRY TO KEK ME TONY

It's a great story, I felt really bad for Pacino's character at the end.

>tfw cocaine really does make you feel that confident
stay away from it kids

Pacino did a perfect job. Montana was a charismatic, Cuban underdog with eccentric tendencies who has had his back against the wall his whole life. All the hand gestures, ticks, stares between conversations, the charisma - it was all part of Tony, not Pacino.
