Rebecca wants everyone to ship everything and knows people can't do that if characters get officially paired off, that's why she wouldn't let Zuke make Lapidot canon and why Zuke was throwing hissy fits. If Pearl and MG get together and then break up it'll be fine since things will end up back at status quo and people will still be able to ship Pearl with whoever they want, that's essentially what happened with Jasper and Lapis.

The sug.rocks OP is incredibly clogged, it doesn't even come close to fitting on one screen. The minisodes came out at the beginning of October and anyone who came back for Gem Harvest should be aware of them by now. They can just download them from the episode folders. SDCC Panel is broken, soundtracks are already available in the third folder link, and we don't need to link to sug.rocks a second time with the leakbot already there.

If it's true, it gives me hope. When people talk about shows they are working on, they are usually several episodes ahead so hopefully Lapidot is completely destroyed in a later episode and Zuke will cry all about it until, during, and after it happens.
