>After all, the reason I got into medicine in the first place was for the laughs. That and the pussy, and that dried up ten years ago if you pardon the expression.

What a great show. I'm looking forward to rewatching the series next month.

well now I have to watch this again. thanks for the reminder, guys.

SHE KNEW BABIES WERE MEANT TO BITE BUT WERE THEY MEANT TO SCRATCH?

...

...

...

No. They weren't.

But nothing, women like you are the reason this chicken is late in the first place. You'll be lucky if you get any of my lovely chicken with this kind of behaviour. God damn son of a bitch, this is great chicken. Get nothing but flack.

I rewatched this again after some years and I was crying with laughter at points. They just nailed every aspect and I tip my hat/fedora to everyone involved

and piss and shit. This was the worst day of her life

guys garth marenghi is the dead dad in mitchell and webbs new show

Have you met the temp?

One of the best shows to come out of the mid-noughties crop of comedy shows. Interesting how a lot of them shared actors and writers.

Mighty Boosh, Darkplace, Snuffbox...

You two were... buddies, weren't you?

GOAT comedy series?

His body of work reminds me of another certain classic horror author

>dat framing
Absolutely perfect.

Any fans of Dr. Terrible? It's not quite as good, but I think anyone who liked Darkplace would enjoy it.

>I've yet to notice any demons on the ward, and I'm particularly observant

Literally my favourite series of all time. So sad there's only 6 episodes and one additional hour of extra "interviews".

>only 6 episodes

Enjoy the fact that it was all quality and not run into the ground.

They did a spin-off called Man To Man with Dean Learner. It was a chat show with Dean as the host. Garth is the guest in the first episode.

was Darkplace lovecraftian?

a shame it was mostly shit.

"I wonder what brought them here, Liz. Was it Rick? Was it this hospital? Or was it both?"
"Or all three?"

quintessential kingesque

>You and he were.... "buddies", weren't you?

I wish i more attractive like Dagless.

I don't know who directed that but he nailed the late 70 style so much perfectly.

>I don't know who directed that
Richard Ayaode

b l a c k b e a n s a u c e

A true kinographer.

FFS..Its "you and he..."

on the hour led to
>the day today
>brass eye
>nathan barely
>alan partridge
and also gave charlie brooker a bit of a break leading to screenwipe and black mirror

there is lots of storys like that our comedy scene is small enough in the uk to facilitate that kind of thing but it has a lot of good quality stuff

I wish i could be more attractive like dagless

"they had sex in all three positions: doggy, normal, and on top"

Are those his actual kids? Why are they so BLEACHED

Powerful Norwegian genes.

Och, kill.... Dagless, mon.

Ayoade is half white.

>tfw Matthew Holness wil never play adult Bill in the IT sequel while in character as Marenghi

>Based on melodies originally whistled by Garth Marenghi

I know mon means man, but I don't think och means anything.

sonofabitch

no shit

That's the mother, Rick!

>ywn never lose copies of your work in an alcohol related mishap in Fulham that you will bitterly regret for both personal and professional reasons.

She was like a candle in the wind... unreliable.

Half shit, to be precise.

"No, she's probably buried in the eastern block... if she got a burial at all."

>The flip he does with the baby during the opening explosion
Perfection

Poor Madeline

UK comedy scene isn't small at all, comedy s weirdly popular here. It's just a bit of an elite circlejerk round the big jobs, check out how many comics from the 90s-2000s went to Cambridge

"A man who behaves like a beast, shall never know the pain of being a man. Yet a man without love is like an orchard without cherryblossom."

"I had a cat once, dropped a sofa on it. It was a write-off, so I stood on its head."

>that part on the DVD commentary where they all make fun of Stephen Merchant

I lol'd for about 4 hours after that one.

goddamn sonofabitch
