Is MMA a red-pill sport?

Is MMA a red-pill sport?

I watch warriors walk out into the octagon and fight each other, blood everywhere, not giving a damn.

What is Sup Forums's take on this subject?

Gladiatorial games to distract the masses.

boxing is redpilled, MMA is for angsty kids with no discipline

They are entertainers no different from Football players, Webcam whores, Singers, Actors, or Olympic Athletes.

They are paid for how many people will pay to watch. They create no works of art, no engineering marvels, and no economic exportable.

The best they can ever come up with is 'inspiration'.

Same for boxers. Yet another brand of useless entertainer.

Sport is to war as porn is to sex. Especially true for combat sport. Legit just masturbating with anger

It promotes masculinity so it is more red pilled than most sports that sjws have infiltrated

every white kid with a bit of athleticism should be taking a combat sport or training at a good MMA gym so that they can fight and not be beta and nu-male

preferably boxing, wrestling, bjj, muay thai

ony thing i regret is not learning how to fight proper

Boxing is for Mexicans and negros. MMA is the sport of the >white man.

No, look at how Joe rogan and everyone else were jacking off to fantasies of Rhonda Rousey beating Floyd Mayweather

Quit it Eric.

What about adding toughness and a well-roundedness of fitness and bravery.

It is to be a man.

Ehh. I used to agree with this.

But head trauma in the gym is just like head trauma you see in the cage. Non of it is good for you.

But MMA is dominated and was created by the huehues.

Deliberately damaging neurons that you could be really thinking with is bluepilled

>MMA
>dominated by huehues
t. a 65 year old fuck who was an ameteur boxer "back in the day"

>art matters
>inspiration doesn't

>Needs (((TV))) to promote these things

>Makes dudes in tapout shirts feel good for one punch KOing some beta kid in a bar

>Bravery

Mma is great every white male 15-30 should train it for atleast 6 months.

>tripping over to avoid USADA detecting roids in one's urine.

t. aldo the hue.

As it is today, no. You are wrong. This is not 'manly, 'brave', or anything else. It's just entertainment. How many MMA fighters die in the ring?

You would have a point, and I would agree, were every match to the death with the most lethal martial weapons available. A display of martial skill, ending another person's life, or having your own ended. That'd be 'brave, manly'.

What these pricks do is get buff, learn how to non-lethally tickle each other's dicks and then chucklefuck in an arena for a few minutes at a time never actually trying to take the life of their 'opponent'.

Bunch of jokes. Same as my little pony, just an angrier, less autistic audience.

hahaha did an MMA fighter steal your girlfriend or something?

Would martial arts or kick boxing be considered red-pilled then?

All the MMA/UFC hype aside.

Well

I always hear "is x activity redpilled?" or "is x media Sup Forums approved?"

The true redpill is knowing for yourself what is right or wrong. You don't need people on Sup Forums to approve of something before you like it. Relying on acceptance from your peers is the cuck road to take.

No. I've taken some MMA, and I've been married for 7 years, pretty happily. I also served in the military, and personally knew quite a few MMA-obsessed people.

There's no death. No loss. No actual price paid, and no threat of any real loss. Mild injuries and some bloodshed does not make anything manly or 'red pilled'.

It's just a placebo for angsty civilians and people who wish they were more martially capable. That's it. Nothing more.

Art is short for Artisan. To be an artisan is to be a master of a craft.

A carpenter can be an artist. A mason can be an artist. A programmer, or architect, or engineer. When these people are so good at their job they make shit up that's intentionally difficult to pull off just to make something to show just how good they are at their craft, they become an artist. A martial artist will die and his mold will be in a box or urn until a teenager loots the place to fuck with dead bodies.

>inspiration doesn't
Entertainers are not the only ones that inspire. They are in fact the only ones that inspire masturbatory tendencies.

If you want to practice something, practice a skill that produces something. Otherwise it's just masturbation.

People have forgotten what the fuck ART actually is and was used for. The shit they elevate in school is worthless trash. You did all the fancy post-modern tier shit to express a capacity for your talent and set yourself apart from the others in the same trade. It's a trophy and a big 'LOOK WHAT I CAN DO' that the others can't. So more people commission you for work. Classically, this was the perfection of skin and muscle on sculpture. Or the detail of light and color in a chosen medium on canvas.

That's why those pieces are important to history. Not because they're attached to the guy's name. They were masters of form, light, perspective, and color. The weird shit were experiments and show pieces.

MMA is for faggots. Wrestling isn't a sport, it's a sexual orientation. Boxing is where it's at. There's a reason that boxing is called the "Sweet Science" and mma is known as "sweaty fags rolling around hugging each other"..

If you watch mma, you might not be a straight-up homo, but nobody can say you aren't trying.

Keep in mind that most of these fighters are relying on good performance to put food on the table. Not to mention that you can be kicked out of the league and sent back to regionals to work your way back up with something as simple as two consecutive losses.
To say there's absolutely nothing on the line for the fighters is a stretch.

Blood sports are a sign of declining society therefore not redpilled

Wut, Joe thinks Rhonda could beat the lower half of guys in the same weight class as she. Any of the competent and better guys she would lose to and hard.

Boxing used to be red pilled. Its so rigged now and slowly turning into WWE tier

>I'm the best damn rubber band puller in the world
>I've been pulling rubber bands for 20 years
>gets made obsolete by rubber band pulling machine
Risk is irrelevant.

Joe says a lot of dumb shit. Even if he's supposed to be an expert on the topic. But remember to buy those kettle balls.

>doing anything for performance or the entertainment of others
>redpilled

I'm trying not to sound edgy but if you don't train your combat skills, be it unarmed, knife or gun, in order to kill, you're a cuck for limiting yourself in a skill that is objectively designed to protect yourself by harming the opponent.

It's the same logic as aiming for the legs, as the objectively larger target is center mass and the best way to incapacitate your target is to kill them. However, if you live in a police state or cucked society that arrests you for self defense it's better to just avoid trouble altogether.

MMA and all these """"sports"""" train their participants to perform 1v1 on stage with many rules to constrain them, whereas in an actual do or die scenario there are no rules between you and your assailant(s).

Ideally I'd approach combat in a multi faceted way and train:
>striking
>grappling
>long melee weapon like pipe or machete
>knife
>CCW
>rifle or shotgun in enclosed space

Roman Colosseum circus for sure. Order in pizza is the bread.

>i'd perform these ways of training
You should know how to topple or restrain people a bit larger than you, and for everything else, how to avoid the situation. Including dealing with people much larger than you.

And your wallet is not worth facing down a gun barrel. So don't pretend to know how to deal with one.

Unrestrained combat is not something you can train for. You'll get dirt thrown in your face, someone hitting you in the back of the head with a bottle. A car slamming into you. The first hit will almost always win, and if you're trying to be civil, you're not going to get that first hit the one time it will matter most. So just avoid the situation entirely.

As for weapons training, you should know how to fire and maintain a gun of your choice. Anything more is a waste of effort.

She wouldn't have a chance against the lowest guys in the same weight class

Is paranoia a red-pilled thing?

it's glorified, equal opportunity mandingo fighting that is meant to appeal to dismoralised males and sap money out of them for events and merch

Remember when it wasn't 2 gay dudes wrestling around in a circle for 3 minutes.

I'd say Rugby is more red pilled. They beat the shit out of each other and are actually working as a team to accomplish something

>Ehh. I used to agree with this.
>But head trauma in the gym is just like head trauma you see in the cage. Non of it is good for you.

i guess just wrestling an bjj then

people still train boxing and muay thai but without sparring so there's no head trauma

robbie lawlor and donald cerrone dont do sparring anymore

>accomplish something
Literally accomplish nothing.

Hockey is the true red pilled sport.

MMA?

You mean jujitsu?

MMA is so fucking boring to watch.

You guys remember the OG UFC? wher they would have like Big ass sumo wrestlers verses like a kick boxer?

Thats some fucking quality entertainment.

It's one of the last few manly sports. In every other sport, if you're being a little too mean or someone trips, then the game stops, ambulances come and they're carried off. Every other event, it's the same bullshit.

I like MMA because you can literally hear the guy's coach tell him to stop being a pussy and get out there.

>Is MMA a red-pill sport?
Only if you're interested in the technical aspect. Otherwise it's just like said.

Professional sports in general are very cucked. If you want to get together with some friends and demonstrate talent/skill, that's great. But watching that shit on TV is not at all "red-pilled". We need to bring back amateur/recreational sports. Certain (((people))) have made it seem like masculinity is gay and childish. It's not, and our society would be better off if we engaged in recreational sporting. It builds good community and is just healthy everyone involved. You should be outside with friends, not inside with your electric jew.

>Gladiatorial games to distract the masses
FPBP.

It's 21st century circus & bread

Train your mind how to create and invent, not harm and destroy - don't waste the short time you have entirely on such banal a subject

I enjoy both. Technique in boxing and k1/glory, makes MMA look amateurish. I still enjoy it though.

>ITT: homoerotic pussy-game discussion

This. It's the ultimate form of competition. In baseball or hockey or football or any other stupid sports, the most fun and exciting part is when players say fuck it and start beating the shit out of the opponent. Every instance of this is met with thunderous cheers because ultimately it's the most exciting form of confrontation.

Judges have ruined boxing so badly that so many people have moved from being boxing fans to mma fans. Only a handful of popular boxers is what keeps boxing alive(barely). Its a complete shitshow!

MMA wasn't created by hues retard. Or do you think BJJ is the same thing as MMA?

And you may want to look at UFC's current list of champions. All the hues have been BTFO by white men and the only one left is a woman who got lucky she never had to face Ronda or Valentina Shevchenko to win the title.

>pic related

There's nothing wrong with entertainment if it gives the working people something to do while they rest from their labor. Literally kill yourself you autist.

Hard to argue your sport is more heterosexual when hugging another man is a popular strategy
