If you watch the video you can see that he quotes reliance of the traveller which is gold standard of sunni islamic jurisprudence dumbass.. That codifies islamic law, written by muslims for muslims. Within it are justifications from qur'an and sunnah for each of the laws.
It's categorized into relevant sections, and far less messy than quoting the qur'an and sunnah directly. Which i doubt you even know aswell as you pretend.
