Vol. 1 came out in October, 2015, and this rip is this month. I would suspect that Vol. 2, which just came out in October 2016, will get ripped sooner. And the Volume 3 isn't even on CMX yet, for pre-order or anything.
You know, there's a 200+ page Vertigo version in a scan on Libgen, don't really know what the difference is other than it looks like the page count of v1 + v2 and if equal to those, of v3 would equal the page count of the Libgen Vertigo scan from 1990.
My guess is that he's digitizing it, but the quality of Vol. 1, for a B&W piece of art, could be better if he's had some 25 years to clean it up, transfer to Freehand or Illustrator.

I buy every one of 'em which comes out in TPB format; my BPRD stack is towering at this point, and I honestly feel it reads better in that format. I have to wonder how many other people buy them the same way as I do and how that impacts sales.
