As an outsider to American politics, It is clear that democrats are the whinniest and saltiest party in the world.

>Hillary's Campaign
um... how can it be the worst of anything? SHE WON THE POPULAR VOTE AKA THE ONLY THING THAT REALLY MATTERS

Yet she lost

...

It seems that the only thing that really matters is if you win the actual election.

Remember, as long as the Democrats are in the lead there is no chance of a fraudulent election, if they still lose they got cheated

:^)

Tenacity, mostly.
Mad doesn't really like Hillary or Donald, so I imagine both will get a spot.

Pokemon GO was this year right? It went so fast it feels like forever ago.

And that's pretty meaningless in this context. Obama didn't win the popular vote in the democratic party preliminaries, yet I have never seen anybody even mention it to put in question his legitimasity.

Even though this thread will derail into Sup Forums and tumblr arguments in a while, if not already by the time you read this, has there been an edit of that Spongebob episode with Kevin where Spongebob is doing the "loser" call and he says "Hey I've been called this before" but instead of SB it's Hillary?

Nah that's just Americans the only difference is Liberals run all media so they have the ability to broadcast their butthurt worldwide whereas all Conservatives could do shit up Fox News and make some sht protests.

>As an outsider to American politics, It is clear that democrats are the whinniest and saltiest party in the world.

Neo-Nazis and Socialist actually exist. Democrats are pretty tame on the political spectrum actually.

Have you not seen The South republicans and libertarians.

Yeah, but had Hillary won, you know they wouldn't dare to mock her in anyway.

user, this is Mad we're talking about.
The magazine that ribs the shit out of any candidate that so much as lifts a finger, and sometimes even if they don't.
If you don't believe me, look at some of their other Worst of Issues (2008, for example).

There is supposed to be a big update where they add gen 2 critters, so that might make people actually play it again.

Definitely.
I don't know what they would mock most: the concept, the inevitable danger, the media attacking it, or it largely vanishing after about a month.

plus quick polls for all of you idiots to pick your favorite idiots that have written and drawn for MAD all these years

o like how she gave bernie the nomination because all she had were the delegates?

There are so many things. The "Fuck 2016" meme is annoying, yet annoyingly true.

>The election
>Celebrity deaths
>Harambe
>Pulse shooting
>Pipeline protests
>Disney Gator attack
>Zika
>Brexit
>Oregon Militia
>Terror attacks in Belgium, in France, etc.
>Hurricane Matthew

Not really bad per se, but all the sports teams who got seemingly impossible wins, the Cavs, the Cubs, the Cowboys, etc.

This being MAD, I would assume Pokemon Go and possibly the Oscars controversy on there too.

>Oscars controversy

Seems like it actually doesn't matter, given that she's not the President elect and Donald Trump is.

is that Donald Trump or John Candy?

Some niggers complained that the Oscars were "too white".

You know, before anyone says anything about Mad supporting Hillary or something. They actually hated the shit out of her when she was against obama. They were ruthless with the sex allegations and about her shitty record. This was in 2008. I had no idea how woke they were. The only reason I know this is because it was one of the last issues of mad I had with my subscription and somehow its still in my reading material bucket in my bathroom.

Exactly. Let's not forget the crap they gave her for her book, the email thing, her "bankruptcy", etc.

they're not going to be this ruthless on a President ever since Nixon was in office

>Blacks complain about black movie makers not getting enough respect.
>they'll pay to watch the same movie about Tyler Perry in a dress and racial stereotypes every year.
Wew

>keep it at a minumum
MAD has been liberal for years. They would praise Obama's cock for any thing and portray republicans as "le evil redneck white male"
I'm not surprised
there I did it. No Sup Forums memes. No edgy comments. Mods, if you are reading this, don't ban me

and Trumps starting at Nixon's bottom

Oh, that old song and dance. Fels like that comes up every year.

(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)

In my experience, they generally aren't much kinder, if at all, to liberals.
They mocked Obama for practically his entire presidency, had a field day with Bill, and have made fun of essentially everything Hillary has done, even her running for the Senate.
Granted, one could argue that their mocking of Trump and Dubya surpassed all of those, but my point is they really aren't that liberal.

I don't remember them literally rioting in the streets when Obama won.

They bitched, but they didn't throw a tantrum and block major highways and shit like that.

Is Redwood still in any sort of position of power?

I hope not.

this is the equivalent of any videogames where you have a 99.9% chance of hitting, and still you fucking missed, kek.

...

...

>play chess
>get checkmated
>I SHOULD WIN BECAUSE I HAVE MORE PAWNS

>not XCom
Eh 7/10

didn't her entire campaign pretty much hinge on "at least she's not Trump" and "muh madam president" instead of strong policies and proposals?

Kinda. Her policies were basically Obama's, and most aren't satisfied with his policies. She had to try and sell herself as progressive while pretty much being the opposite of progress.

Someone seriously got banned for asking to make Black Panther white? If Redwood really did this, he can go fuck himself.

So what happened to this asshole?

>only difference is Liberals run all media
Right, the only difference. I too remember all the violent riots when Obama got elected. Twice. I too remember the Religious Right declaring the end of America, and I too remember Fox News literally calling Obama the new Hitler.

The election, Brexit, and the impossible wins were all based though.

The funny things out of this election are:
A) That it ended up with Hillary 'Military Hawk' Clinton being shilled as the 'progressive liberal' candidate and the 'champion of the people'...
B) ...except she shot herself in the foot repeatedly and did the number 1 error one can make, which alienating voters. Deplorables, anyone? You don't get people to vote for you by calling them names.
C) For all the identity politics peddling, Trump sure got a shitload of female voters, didn't he? Hillary, according to the New York Times, pre-recount only had 1% more of the female vote than Obama. When a more than sizable portion of her campaign was centered around her having a vagina.
D) She had the entire media (except maybe Fox News) and every celebrity shilling for her and she still lost.

Oh and suddenly, because Democrats lost, the Electoral College is bad.

Electrical college have always been trash.

My point is more that they wouldn't even be complaining about it had they won. That and Clinton turned herself into a fucking joke and lost to Donald motherfucking Trump. They expected a 90% win and it ended in an utter fucking disaster and rather than take a moment to reflect on how it came to be like that and admit their flaws, people are throwing temper tantrums.

but when are the Democrats gonna learn to stop putting out such terrible candidates? McGovern, goddamn Carter, motherfucking Dukakis, Gore, KERRY, all the way to Hillary!

Democrats and Republicans seem just as stupid and whiny to me. Were you not around for the Obama years?

Yeah, this opinion has been around for a while, it's just because we're seeing yet another popular vote/electoral vote mismatch (two int he last 16 goddamn years, living memory for everyone over 20 or so) so it's getting a lot of attention. This isn't some liberal hissyfit where everyone suddenly decided it was bad just because Trump.

The temper tantrum people should be throwing is that the DNC establishment was so out of touch with the world that they fucked over a candidate who would have actually won handily to put one of the most hated politicians who embodies corporate wall street influence in the running.

Bernie straight up had the primary stolen from him. He would have soundly beaten Trump, as Trump's only solid pull was being anti-establishment (which has been already shown to have been a flat out lie). I wish more than anything that the left could organize itself and take stock of that, and channel the extremely deserved anger towards the DNC as well as Trump.

Trump is terrifying for a lot of people, and Hillary both created him through insane levels of media coverage, and is wholly to blame for losing to him.

>This isn't some liberal hissyfit where everyone suddenly decided it was bad just because Trump.
It probably is for people around 18-20 who had never voted before and suddenly realized, outside of their play doh and plushie safe, that sometimes things don't go their way. I've had people say democracy is bad because people will 'vote wrong'.

>The temper tantrum people should be throwing is that the DNC establishment was so out of touch with the world that they fucked over a candidate who would have actually won handily to put one of the most hated politicians who embodies corporate wall street influence in the running.
Not a huge Bernie fan either but I entirely agree with this statement, user.

>Trump is terrifying for a lot of people, and Hillary both created him through insane levels of media coverage, and is wholly to blame for losing to him.
Trump is hardly an angel by any stretch of the imagination but the media created an imaginary baby-eating demon Trumphitler that doesn't really exist in reality.

i hear that electricians pay pretty well

On the other hand, Obama and Bill.

Despite media exaggeration, Trump has proposed policies that do target a lot of various groups of people. The fear of these groups may be beyond what is totally due, but it is there because of his continued statements and propositions.

Regardless of his own intentions, there is one fact that we can absolutely look to, in the normalization of prejudice that has occurred since the election. It's simple numbers that there has been a sharp spike in hate crimes and vandalism/assaults/harassment targeting minority groups. It might not be Trump doing it directly, but it is people emboldened by what he represents. Being afraid of what will occur when he actually gets in office after all this is valid, especially for someone with an identity that has been put at risk.

>this is what faggot liberals actually believe
No, tantrum throwing minority niggers attacking white people is not le ebil trumpers rayciss hatecrime
Fuck off, cuck

>It's simple numbers that there has been a sharp spike in hate crimes and vandalism/assaults/harassment targeting minority
Yeah like white people getting beaten for voting Trump and angry people in big cities burning down the shop of people who most probably voted for the same candidate as them. Oh no, I can't even fucking say that because that will mean I now endorse the KKK and Hitler!

Trump is the monster the Democrat and the American left have created in the last decade. This is what happen you push identity politics, eventually you end up with two sides of raging retarded racist vindicated by feelings of victimhood killing each others with innocents in the crossfire.

...

Those incidents you mention are deplorable. I do not condone such violence, and acknowledge the problem with them. Equally as such, you should not condone, and acknowledge the despicable nature of the nigh 900 minority-targeting incidents that happened just within ten days of the election.

splcenter.org/20161129/ten-days-after-harassment-and-intimidation-aftermath-election

Like user is saying it's more an issue that people have been whipped into a frenzy or atleast the media likes to sensationalize it as such. Of course Nazis feel vindicated despite Trump riding more Jewish dick than Lenny Kravitz's mom and AntiFa think they're the french resistance despite Trump not actually having power yet because the media has been selling the idea that he's going to go full Hitler the second he gets elected and it'll be the end of the world.
Also some of those attacks are hoaxes

Even with his hair, Trump looks more like Chris Christie in this.

I don't think Bernie would have won. He lacked charisma. Trump could get people going, but Bernie was a sellout. Get that into your head. Guy got a taste and just gave up.

We now have to pay the EU and don't get the benefits of it.

SHE MIGHT HAVE LOST BUT SHE GOT A COUPLE OF GOOD HITS IN RIGHT?!

>splc
Opinion discarded. Here's a protip, self-reported shit with no evidence published by an organization with a political ax to grind makes you look like a dipshit, dipshit

>Of course Nazis feel vindicated despite Trump riding more Jewish dick than Lenny Kravitz's mom
Shhhh don't tell that to people living in their fantasy world where they get to be Captain Progressivism and punch Hitler in the jaw!

Also, actual neo-nazi are apparently something like 0.3% of the US population according to all those 'hate group research' site or whatever you call crap like the SPLC. But, again, don't tell that to people or they lose a boogeyman.

the RNC supposedly had a folder two feet thick on stuff that Bernie had said way back when he was an unabashed communist and not trying to win a national election.

He'd have gotten fucking roasted

You say that like the Republicans didn't put out equally shit candidates this year.

If they had one decent candidate then Trump wouldn't have rampaged through the primaries like he did

You can blame a lot of that on Hillary and the DNC as well, to be honest.

wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/1120

Yeah?

What about them?

>Trump shouldn't be President because he had a reality tv show
>the same people who say this most likely want Stephen Colbert to run for President
I also find it funny that California wants to break away from the US over Trump, yet they elected an actor who can barely speak English as their governor.

Trump's not whats embarrassing about this election. What's embarrassing is that the entire Democratic party basically shit itself and is now just rolling around in it.

people are quite obviously not happy at the end of Obama's term

As great as all of this political debate is, can we get back to the main topic?
Lousy 2016 events, go!

>Lousy 2016 events, go!
2016 itself

To be fair being less of a percent still makes you a few million people. I'm sure the actual criminal population is insignificant especially if you live somewhere nice or remote but it doesn't mean it isn't shitty for those affected by crime.
A lot of it was really wrapped up in the election.
Ghostbusters reboot?

I like this a lot.

>people are actually taking this bait

>Ghostbusters reboot?
That's also wrapped in the same climate that made the US elections a shit show.

the media circus involving Ghostbusters really deserves a spot

He also wasn't on the ballot in Michigan. No one talks about it because it's not the same thing.

Face it, here's the real truth: Hillary lost because she was "overqualified" for the job. Now she and all the people on her side know how it feels.

When you have such a massive advantage to the point it is considered rigged in your favor and still lose, that is beyond suicide levels of incompetence. Massive crisis is normal response to this.

>all she had were the delegates

And also a 3 million vote lead in the popular vote

She lost because she is a shitty human being

her qualification is being on the cabinet of a mediocre at best presidency.

She lost because identity politics, thankfully, aren't all you need to win.

>overqualified
"What difference, at this point, does it make?"

They said whiniest and saltiest, not destructive and monstrous.

FUCK FIRE EMBLEM

The advantage doesn't matter because no one turned out to vote. And the electoral college favors people not voting.

When Dems win the next time around they need to go forward with dismantling the college or changing the winner-takes-all concept. I live in a state that's really tight (Virginia went blue 3 times in a row but with like less than a percent of the population) but I can't imagine how frustrating it is to be a Republican in California or Democrat in Wyoming where the second the polls close you already lost.

>The advantage doesn't matter because no one turned out to vote.
Its almost as if there was so much shilling for Hillary that Democrats went "Meh she's gonna win, I'm not even going to bother voting."

But if they win, then that means the electoral college is working in their favor and would not to abolish it while the losing party would want to.

>When Dems win the next time around they need to go forward with dismantling the college
Yeah, right...

With the way things have been going the past 3 weeks Obama is going to look like Jesus Christ in 4 years. Trump has basically retracted all his campaign promises while appointing the richest cabinet in American history by 10 times. Just today he announced he'll drastically lower mortgage interest deductions which largely assist established families who got 30 year variable mortgages pre-crash, some 40 million people who are solidly middle-class.

But really I feel sorry for all the rust belt/coal country rubes. Trump saves 700 jobs in the AC industry! And as a result incentivizes more companies to leave the country because by doing so the new president is willing to kiss their feet with a good deal. And half the jobs are still in Mexico so the elite continues to win and the middle-class gets poorer.

Then the cities dominate every single state and the dems win 100% of the time. Then the the means of production get seized from agricultural states and 6 million Ukranians starve to death but it's okay because it wasn't real Marxism.

Obama will go down in history as middling at best.

He'll also go down as an affirmative action president once Obamacare gets reconfigured. There's literally no other legacy to give him other than being black once that happens, and you can bet that is keeping him up at night.

No Man's Sky.
