Shitty CGI

What has been the shittiest CGI you have seen in a film this year
For me it's between the Kingsman 2 car chase and pretty much most scenes in the new Wonder Woman

$250m budget

Wouldn't it have been better if they had him crawl along the floor then CGI the sky that probably would have been easier and looked slightly better

The whole Wonder Woman movie

That's what directors usually do

...

...

practical effects, bitches

youtube.com/watch?v=viUbVn0-ZQw

the new IT movie
worst movie i've seen in years. and the cgi was terrible
even movies made before 2000 have better cgi

Yeah, that looked like absolute shit.

>Shitty cgi
Cgi is always shitty. Like that fucking fake tiger in gladiator.

kek

No, that'd look like Adam West climbing the building. The body doesnt move the same if you're carrying your weight on the floor against gravity

They did right, he was actually climbing a wall while wires pulled him up

the actor did somewhat goofy and the cgi is not helping

The CG wasn't even bad. And the movie was good too, fuck off

MCU Spider-Man does crawl on walls just like 1977 Spider-Man

That's how they did it in Raimi's Spider-Man and it was THE capeshit scene for a long time.

ugh....

...

>capeshit

come on, show some other stuff and dont flood this thread with capeshit

raimi had some pretty bad cgi dude, even if it were better movies

But Raimi's Spiderman did it and it looked awesome. Much better than in Homecoming, still to this day.

Wonder Woman.

Hell everything looked so fucking fake, it was unreal. May as well have made it a cartoon. And who was the cocksucker that figured putting in slow-mo was a good idea? "Hey, yeah, that super fake looking backflip? Put it in slow mo so people have a few seconds to think about how absurdly fake this looks."

spiderman and wonderwomen dont wear capes

check mate

Not in that scene, at least in the beggining

...

normies eat that shit up

...

...

I was a bit shocked by how bad the robots looked in many scenes. Bay just doesn't a give a fuck anymore

youtube.com/watch?v=KTkk5aYf3PA

He never gave much of a shit to begin with

Holy crap the Shadow the hedgehog opening looked better than that

isn't even out yet and this looks like a 2006 PS3 cutscene

literally the only decent-looking bit in those trailers

the rest looks like polished plastic

the coliseum looked like a youtube fan vid

At least it's not a PS2 cutscene

What the fuck is this?

CGI Leia in rogue one was hilariously bad. Tarkin looked ok though

I think I visited that place in STALKER.

Christ. This looks worse than the cg Legolas bits from LotR. How is that possible?

The leper from IT, but im pretty sure its a practical effect.

I think the CGI isn’t even the problem here, it’s that Gal Gadot CANNOT FUCKING ACT.

Wasn't the leper practical? It certainly seemed that way to me, maybe with some CGId pus in a couple places

Does anybody have any webms of Chris Pine dropping his bombs on that german base when he's being interrogated by the themyscerans? That was a shot that made me laugh out loud in the theater

Nothing in the new film will be worse than the cat from the first movie

youtube.com/watch?v=mxoVMuWkluA
The most kino bike sequence of all time

Are you sure?
youtube.com/watch?v=Oeme3EA9fWg
the main bit I'm talking about is at about 5:07, video quality is crap but you can still see it

I think this may actually be the worst camrip i've ever seen.

>IM ACTING

I unironically enjoyed this.

It looked fucking great in some scenes like pic related but what the hell happened everything else? It's like the CGI was lagging and it's like this for nearly every popular film now days.

They really couldn't help putting one more slo-mo bullet shot in there, could they.

Kek reminds me of this
youtube.com/watch?v=p8wOHUzHFbg

Holy fuck

I don't get it, there WAS a suit that Tom Holland wore. How can you make something that's already a physical prop look like it's not really there?

it's like iron man, basically all replaced

imagine spidey looking like pic 2

This

GUY PIERCE YOU FUCKING LUNATIC

por que no los dos

Its not as bad when you see it in theaters poorfag

That movies budget was $175 million. This movie had a $250 - 300 million budget

its from google imagines faggotnigger

It's still a screengrab from the cam rip you fucking retard.

stay mad nigger

JUST

Did the visuals team forget to texture Doomsday and the ground?

you don't even know who you're talking to you little goof.

Wonder Woman's mum jump-spinning off the horse near the start was the worst so far. Anyone have a webm? The scenes in King Arthur when he's in rage mode were also pretty bad.

wew

>Its not as bad when you see it in theaters

still looks like shit cgi in theaters. Like the Rock Scorpion in The mummy returns shit tier cgi.

>hurdurr this pic you got from google as an example is just shit quality thats confusing you into thinking IT had bad cgi.

nope.
Its shit

>that hideous slow motion on the entrance
>That bizarre upset/confused distressed face with the bulging neck tendons at the beginning
>turns around slowly with arms in naruto run position
>rushes forward to camera with same confused face
>idiotic zoom shot
>Yet another fucking slow motion bullet on gauntlet shot
>Before was weird upset face, now completely calm and emotionless while running through enemies
>badly green-screened into running shot in which she just slides through them at sonic speeds without moving legs
>one punching all of them with seemingly small and awkward punches
>rapid zoom in on open mouthed "I'M ACTING" face
>slow motion hook punch into enemies
>extends arm into random guy
>still ice skating along as she does it so basically holding her fist in a guy's face while "running"

reddit spacing dumb faggot

>R...REDDIT!!!

such a mad lil nigger
go kneel in front of the football game

more like $5m budget, $245m marketing

>no argument

Doomsday kicked him so hard it knocked his hairline back an inch

...

"Hey guys.. Can... can we get some lunch? Brian ordered? From where? Could... could he call 'em... back? Oh... well if he's already driving, I'll.. it's cool."

Hollywood being scared of dwindling profits so they just throw more money at movies but shorten the time to make them.

reminds me of a scene from a recent war movie where a character holds up half a corpse as a shield, anyone got that webm?

the fucking toy BOAT in IT

REALLY YOU CANT FUCKING MAKE A REAL FIUCKING TOY FUCKING PAPER WAX BOAT?????? GOTTA MAKE IT CGI? FUCKING LAZY F U C K S

Torque is great cheese fest watch Detention if you like the Director not as cheesy

Why don't they just use that to make a really good looking 2 hour or less movie instead of a 3 hour shitfest?
