As meh as S2 was, the scenes at the bar were noir-kino.

>kino
Stop.

>when the night, has been too lonely, and the road has been too long

not looking forward to season 3

...

Chill, I'm saying it was good.

At least it has Mahershala Ali starring.

that's why I'm worried, Pizza will make it the worst BLM analogy possible

Jeremy Saulnier is top tier kinographer compared to anyone who worked on season 2, it's going to be the best season yet.

What makes you think that?

the fact that he's so WOKE and REDPILLED

Saulnier is entry level shit that plebs love

Green Room just feels like a tryhard student film that cares about "perfect" framing because he has no idea how to make an interesting film

Saulnier is trash

If they bring back the subtle occult/lovecraftian themes, it'll be good.

Season 2 was just pizza getting angry about being called out for plagarism, so he stopped plagarizing and fired the good writer.

He should continue plagarizing and hire the good writer to avoid another season 2.

I literally can't think of a better pleb filter in mainstream media.

>lovecraftian
>The King In Yellow written by R.W. Chambers

God bless user. Only reason I opened the thread

>THE NIGHTS THAT I TWIST ON THE RACK ARE THE TIMES THAT I FEEL MOST AT HOME
whole scene is drunk kino for people who compartmentalize their problems and see their alcoholism as heroically tragic and who gravitate towards drunks in popular media to validate their escapist stupidity

Whole season was massively underrated tbqh

I'm sorry chambers, it's unfair, but lovecraft defines the genre to the point that he has an adjective and you don't.

>not getting the kafkaesque themes in season 2
Fucking plebs, get the fuck out.

Kek, was thinking the same

He's probably never read either of those authors.

Reminder that Conways version of the rose is the best version

>that scene where Ray has a breakdown after snorting a line and doing some pull ups

I wish we saw more of Ray working for Frank in the casino or just more shit like when he beat that reporter from the first episode.

>mfw seeing the trailer and thinking Ray in the balaclava was some Zodiac Killer situation but being disappointed

I still loved season 2 but it lost focus and I think if gay cop wasn't a main character we could have gotten more of Frank, Ani, and Ray.

checkmate, gaijin!

Season 2 has one hell of a great soundtrack. The Only Thing Worth Fighting For is a fantastic song. Lera Lynn did a great job all around.

what did she mean by this ?

If it had been the first season and Rust and Marty had been the second season it would have been better appreciated.

She's just repeating things Casper knew.
