he's a token asian
also an asian that can speak in english

also he's chinese so he's good for the chinese market
that's why he gets all the roles and not Glenn from TWD
he's korean and chinese hate koreans

>listing films made years apart

Also his best role was in the It Crowd playing the countdown morpheus

Chink pandering is happening more than anybody realizes. There's absolutely nothing remarkable about this actor but there he is again and again.

They're mostly bit roles

>we need... I don't know, some guy. The role is basically a wash, there are no major defining traits. It's a placefiller. Get literally anybody who can read lines.

Honestly I like this guy and wouldn't mind seeing him in more movies with bigger roles

15 Storeys High

came here to post this

I wish Sean Lock did something like that again, it was pretty good

It's genuinely a sign of waning American soft power. Hollywood needing to pander to such a massive market. This is good for China.

How come you never see Asian people above 30 on British TV who don't have an Asian accent? Is it racism?

>he's chinese so he's good for the chinese market
He's only somewhat famous in the West. It's not going to help with the Chinese market at all.

>he's korean and chinese hate koreans
Young people in China consume massive amounts of Korean entertainment. Stop memeing.

I agree. He has a cool voice and doesn't strike me as a numale

He's great in Marco Polo, too bad netflix canceled it

What wen't wrong with Marco Polo?

Prestor Jon was gonna be a great direction

i like him every time i see him on screen. Good actor.

Set is too expensive, didnt give them profit.

budget

>set is too expensive for historical drama with interesting themes and nondegenerate artistry

>push sjw pseudoscience, racebaiting, and pointless documentaries in every other show

Also in Blade Runner if I'm not wrong

Agreed. Scifi needs good actors like this guy.

I mean did we really need x many seasons of lesbians in prison?

he was also in the last episode of PKD's Electric Dreams

He's British with a fairly broad Manc accent.

>he's korean

(You) good one

He was in a Blade Runner short but it's unlikely he'll be in the movie since the stories are years apart...
But then again, the villain looks exactly the same in both the trailers and the short (inb4 he's a replicant too).

>we need some asia face lookin gook for-

oh shit is that Koublai Khan

Benny Wong is a great actor with fantastic range. I mean, there's all the roles you listed, and he played Kublai Khan fantastically, but he also played Sean Lock's retarded flatmate in 15 Storeys High, one of the most underrated British shows of all time.

...

He's also in that new Sci Fi hershlag film "Annihilation"

This, he's great.

JENGGIIISS HAROOOOOO

Legit my favorite comedy.

chinks see koreans as their little brother

I thought chinese see koreans as chinese...

>The Peter Serafinowicz Show

You left out the most important one.

Hes pretty good though. I mean he hasnt been in a shit role and his characters are mostly likable or neutral.

sunshine was made 10 years ago and barely anybody remembers that movie
