Grab some cocoa, turn on the Christmas music, get comfy, and hang out with some Sup Forumsmrades as we share stories and get into the holiday spirit.
As previous years share your Amazon wishlist and some random user may purchase a holiday gift for you. Be sure to gift another user in return so we can spread the cheer far and wide.

I have to ask does it feel like the Holidays to anyone? For me it doesn't feel like Christmas. I bought a tree this year, my mom is coming in. I guess in the end I'm just as lonely as last year. I hope chatting and watching movies with you guys brings me back into the spirit but at this point I doubt it.

Not really, though my life has just been uni stress for a few weeks now so it's hard to feel anything but that.

Ever since finishing college and grad school, Christmas has felt less and less special. I guess for me it's being further away from my closest friends. Makes a difference when they aren't physically nearby to enjoy the season together.

I've got snow outside! Also Lists are updated. We're at 123 registered and 84 gifted, a 68% gifting rate.
And I've got 4 inches of snow, I had shoveled the walk when I had just under 2 inches yesterday and I don't have time to do it again before work. I kinda doubt the roommates will do it so I'll get to do the trench run tonight around 8pm.
And since my internet is working again I've got my stream up and running vaughnlive.tv/elusiveg

I tried, they want me to manually put in the shipping address and it assumes I want to buy it for myself which defeats the entire purpose of even having shareable wishlists in the first place.
10/10 good job BookDepository, proud of you.
Adrian Cruz
I don't get it, what's the point of the wishlist then? Just to keep it as a reminder for yourself what to buy later, and it is shareable if you wanna show your future buying to someone? I literally have no idea.
Jonathan Reed
I also just realized, bookdepository doesn't remove books when they are purchased and that would be unfair so I just deleted it.
Jackson Collins
This all just sounds ass backwards.

Maybe it's sharable so that actual friends of the wishlist's owner can check it out, buy the stuff that's on it and give it to the wishlist's owner in person. Still kinda lame though.

Hey Sup Forumsmrades I'm back with a new crypto quiz! The rules are simple. These are letter replacement puzzles that are concealing a Christmas quote/reference/lyric. The letters in the crypto stand in for another letter…or two…or three.
Because of this, some of these puzzles are very difficult. Though I try to build all of them to break down with one or two good assumptions. Still, you may want to get out some scratch paper.
Solve it faster than anyone else to win a fabulous prize! When you solve the puzzle, spoiler the solution so that people who want to keep playing can do so. Include your wishlist so that I can gift the fuck out of you. One prize per wishlist.

Thought about it and I'm doing this. Sorry, I can't let people feeling down do so.
You're not alone user. You're never alone. As long as you have friends or family who think of you, you will never truly be alone in this world. And in the off chance that by a cruel hand dealt that you are, in fact, one of those individuals, there are plenty of people here who wish you a merry christmas in whatever form it takes. Other people don't define who you are. You do.
So think of the accomplishments you've made this year, even if they don't seem great at this junction. Be thankful that you are you. There's only one of them in the world, which is a miracle in itself. If you still feel down during the time, then I'm sure others here will tell you the same thing. Some of us can't be with those we wish over the holidays due to various reasons, distance maybe, money, strife, whatever. We don't know each other but we wish each other well. No bullshit. no fake smiles. That's as pure as well wishing can get.
The same to you. You're never truly alone. A random person in the world wishes you all the best this season. I don't know who you are, where you're from, what you've done. I wish you a merry christmas from the bottom of my being.
Stress is just a fleeting moment that can be difficult to see past. When you look back on it, you'll wonder why you worried so. You can do it. Even if you don't believe it yourself, believe me that I believe you can. Distance may be hard, but fight on. Forget what bar you may think you have to set yourself to. Do something that makes you happy during the time and be proud of the fact that you are. Merry christmas to you user.
Jayden Long
at least you have friends in the first place
Isaac Rodriguez
Not him but this only makes things worse First of all, you're not going to see your friends for most of the week, everyone works monday-friday at the very least and then there's weeks where you don't meet up at all Second of all, jealousy makes it's way and you can give me all the bullshit you want about it not being nice but everyone feels jealousy at some point or another. It's just like...why can they be happy and I can't? Third of all, it's the paranoia, you can tell they're good friends and all but you'll also see the pity in their eyes and there's nothing worse than being pitied. And of course you can't bring it up and they won't bring it up.
Andrew Rivera
It must be lonely at the top

You know the drill by now:
So we are going to start with a music contest. Your challenge is record a Christmas song. You can sing, you can play an instrument, you do do a classic song, a parody, an original, whatever you choose! Just create and share some kind of Christmas music. I'd share last year's, but everyone uploaded to Vocaroo and they delete too quickly so they are lost forever. Send your entries to [email protected] with your wishlist number. You have until December 9, after which the entries will be shared and a winner will be chosen. Feel free to ask any questions here or e-mail.
Only one more day unless someone asks for an extension in which case I'd probably end up giving it.
Leo Wright

So, anybody have some holiday anecdotes to share today? All the talk surrounding this Chronicle-meets-edgy-modern-Breakfast Club-by-way-of-Michael Bay "reimagining" of Power Rangers presents me with a chance to share one of mine.
Whether clad in green or white,Tommy was always my favorite as a kid. The White Ranger/White Tigerzord deluxe set was the hot ticket holiday item when I was six. My mother was in the hospital, my younger brother due any day, and my dad was meanwhile scrambling to find the toy as a Christmas gift for little Power Rangers-obsessed me. He managed to get hold of one which I caught a brief, excited glimpse of as my dad walked proudly into the hospital room to tell my mom the good news. If I'm not mistaken, it was that same night that I got my other favorite Christmas gift that year, my baby brother Jason, who was named after the Red Ranger of the time due to my incessant suggestions of Ranger names throughout my mother's pregnancy. It just so happens that today is his birthday and I'm proud to say that he's more than lived up to the heroic legacy for which he was named.
Also reposting my Kamala drawing for the art contest from last thread.
Zachary Ross
Um, the entire puzzle is capitalized, friend...
It's a Christmas thought designed to warm your heart after it has warmed your mind
Elijah Clark
If you're asking me, that all depends on how you approach the puzzle. I'm sure you're not stupid, you probably are just approaching it the wrong way.
Liam Rivera
I've ruled out "it's the most wonderful time of the year" so far so I'm sure I'll be done with this one in no time.
Robert Lee
That's a nice little story. Jason was my favorite of the teens, but Green Ranger was my favorite Ranger. I always wanted the Megazords, but never got them as a kid. I did get the roleplay items like the morpher set and Dragon Dagger. Took me 20 years to finally get the Megazord, Dragonzord, and Titanus for myself.
I wonder how difficult it would be to make the Rangers...
Zachary King
Hell yeah if you ain't down with Red Ranger you go to hell.
Lincoln Clark

I remember finding all of the zords complete at a yard sale back in the early 2000's. You had better believe I scooped them up before anyone else had the chance!

I legitimately only wanted the Megazord so I could combine it with the Dragonzord. Tyrannanosaurus always looks so sad standing next to the much more impressive Dragonzord's Battle Mode form.
Charles Clark
There's this one, which features some.
Good find!
Haha, yeah, the size comparison definitely wasn't the same as in the show. Dragonzord Battle Mode was definitely cool. Cooler than Mega Dragonzord with Dragonzord draped over the Megazord like some sort of odd cloak anyway.
Nicholas Rodriguez
On a cute holiday story-related note, my four-year-old daughter has been questing to find a Litten Pokemon plush as a Christmas gift for my wife over the past couple of weeks since she saw one in a GameStop catalog. We were successful while doing our grocery run yesterday and afterward she bundled it up in one of the small fleece blankets we keep in the car (Alaskan winters suck) to keep it warm on the ride home. As I was unloading groceries after picking up the missus, I overheard her scolding my wife for trying to pick up the bundle from the dining room table and telling her she'd have to wait until Christmas to see her surprise. My little girl was very proud of herself yesterday.
CAPTCHA seems to want to have tea obsession today, only 2/3 of the images it wants me to select are clearly mugs of coffee or soup.
Dominic Powell
There was some White Ranger toy I really wanted Christmas. I don't even know what exactly it was. It wasn't an action figure or a Zord or anything. I think it was really random like some dinky plush toy or something they released. Whatever it was, my parents couldn't find it. My mom was worried that it was going to ruin my Christmas and forever jade me for the rest of my life. But somehow, right before Christmas, she took one last look through some store, and there was one last one of those White Ranger Whatevers. She likes to tell that story as one of those Christmas miracles.
Carter Edwards
It's the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we smile a little easier, we cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year we are the people that we always hoped we would be

One of these...?
I had the Red Ranger one that, I believe, I got for my birthday the summer before before my holiday story. My great aunt loves baking and I spent almost all my weekends at her place, so she special ordered a MMPR cake mold for the Red Ranger and she decorated the cake to look like the White Ranger for me.
Nathan Garcia
I think I know what you're talking about. They were like large plushes that talked or had moveable arms or something. I think I has the same one.
I remember having a large Red Ranger toy. It wasn't a plush, but like a 3 foot tall plastic doll or something with a removable costume and stuff. That thing was serious.
Heyo! Congrats!

I think this was it. Jesus that takes me back. I barely remember the thing, but apparently I loved it. Simpler days...
Now I just stare wistfully at the White/Green Ranger Figuarts that I didn't buy when they were new and now go for scalper prices and won't ever get a rerelease or renewal because Sentai/PR Figuarts don't sell.
Anthony Bell
I was jut about to post that one. I never saw them in stores, but I won one at a county fair way back when. The doll itself wasn't anything to write home about, but I thought the head sculpt was the coolest thing ever.
